Observation and Exploration

It's been a week since the people on the boat first landed. And by listening to their conversations, Bruce has been able to learn much about them. He learned about what it's like in the outside world, their escape from Tsunami, and their plans for the future on Sandbox

The camp that they made has also changed. It's turned from a makeshift camp into a small village

Bruce was amazed at the speed at which the colonists built. And it was only possible due to the increase in physical strength the humans of this world have, and the amazing thing known as magic

While the colony is being built, there are two groups of adventurers working hard to protect it. One group is staying with the colony to protect it from danger. While the other group is exploring the island in order to learn more about it, as well as to take note of all the potential dangers that may exist on it

Another thing Bruce noticed is that not all of the colonists where human. He found some elves, beastkin, and a group of dwarves as well. The reason there were quite the decent number of them was due to Tsunami becoming a human supremacist nation. This made living in Tsunami a very hard place for non human races to live in

Bruce could only listen to their stories in awe, as they were full of all sorts of twists, turns, and a ton interesting details about the outside world... This also meant he had to listen to fights and arguments... Primarily between the elves and dwarves....

(Dwarf) "Long eared stuck up brat!!!"

(Elf) "Dirty uncultured midget!!!"

(Bruce) '...'

(Bruce) 'But why though... They just lightly bumped into each other...'

After the argument was over, a very nettled looking dwarf and elf stormed off to wherever they were heading before...

After this Bruce looked around for anything else interesting, and he found a bard doing some sort of street performance. Bruce was only able to listen to it for about 10 seconds before he felt a new presence on Sandbox

Bruce decided to check out what it was and what he found was a giant creature lumbering across the beach, into the the Scaly Forest

-Grand Tortoise (Rank C+)

(Bruce) 'Dat be a big turtle...'

The Grand Tortoise is around 3 meters tall. And as it casually walks through the Scaly Forest, it knocks over many small tree's that just happen to be in its way

As it wandered through the forest, it was stalked by a pack of Jagras. However, since the tortoise was quite large, the Jagras just watched it safely from the trees... Typical Jagras behavior...

After the tortoise wandered through the forest for about 30 minutes, the sound of footsteps can be heard getting closer and closer to the tortoises location. And then from the depths of the forest, came the Great Jagras...

The tortoise just stared at the Great Jagras strangely, seeming to not expect all that much from its opponent. However, the Great Jagras didn't really seem to care all that much, proceeding to call out into the forest. And shortly after, the tortoise was jumped by Jagras from all sides

The tortoise was a little surprised by the sudden assault from the strange yellow lizards in the trees, but the tortoise returned its focus back on the Great Jagras... Who was now charging towards the him at full speed...

The Great Jagras reaches the tortoise in a matter of seconds, and it tries to bite onto one of the tortoises legs, but the tortoise just retracts its legs and head into its shell, causing the Great Jagras to bite nothing but thin air. A little after that, the normal Jagras land on top or near the tortoises shell. They try to attack it, but to no avail. As it seems like all of their attacks are useless against the creature. And the Jagras eventually give up and retreat back into the forest

The Great Jagras is a little more stubborn however, and can be seen chewing on the tortoises shell to no avail as well. And after a good 10 minutes of biting, scratching, and chewing. The Great Jagras gives up and retreats into the forest as well

After the Great Jagras leaves, the tortoise stops hiding inside of its shell, and starts to wander through the forest again

(Bruce) 'Well that was interesting...'

Bruce watches the tortoise wander around the forest for about another hour before he finally decides to finish the tortoise off, and Bruce is just about to call in a large squad of Pyro Imps when he spots a group of adventurers getting into formation to assault the tortoise

(Tyrian) "That's one big ass turtle!"

(Rin) "It's not a turtle you idiot. It's a tortoise"

(Tyrian) "What's the difference!"

(Rin) "An idiot like you wouldn't understand the explanation anyways. So I won't even bother telling you..."

(Tyrian) "Who ya calling an idiot! I just don't see why it matters whether or not I call it a turtle or a tortoise!"

While Rin and Tyrian argue, Allan is talking with some of the other adventurers they're with

(Allan) "I'm sorry about my companions behavior, but they just can't help themselves"

(Rayla) "It's fine, I have to deal with this stuff all the time when my brother gets into arguments with the dwarves..."

Rayla is a female archer. She's a 68 year old high elf, and is around 5 feet 8 inches tall. She has long blonde hair, bright yellow eyes, and a pretty face. Her older brother is an elf who gets into arguments with the dwarves a lot. Her equipment includes a green cloak, white leather armor, a steel dagger, a enchanted longbow made of faewood, a ring of agility, a ring of stamina regeneration, a amulet of mana regeneration, and a magic bag to fit various other miscellaneous things in

(Grey) "*mumble mumble*"

(Rayla) "Whats that Grey?, can you speak up so I can hear you, and that means something coming from an elf"

(Grey) "*mumble mumble...*"

(Rayla) "*Sigh*"

Grey is a male swordsman. He's a 25 year old human, and is around 5 feet 9 inches tall. He has longish black hair, black eyes, and his face is covered somewhat by his face and gear, so it's somewhat hard to see. Grey quietly mumbles when he talks, so no one can ever understand a word he's saying. He's also somewhat socially awkward, and has a hard time making friends. His equipment includes a black cloak, black leather armor, a black widebrimmed hat, a red scarf, a blacksteel rapier, a ring of quick reflexes, a ring of stamina regeneration, a amulet of health regeneration, and a magic bag to fit various other miscellaneous things in

(Rayla) "Well ,whatever. Anyways, hey Rin!"

(Rin) "?"

(Rayla) "Do you know any earth magic?"

(Rin) "Yes, why do you ask"

(Rayla) "Because were going to trap that giant tortoise with it, its a rank C+ so we should be cautious and seal its movements off before our attack"

(Rin) "Oh, I see. I'll get right on it..."

Rin starts to cast magic, creating a large tier 3 magic circle. Once the spell is ready to cast, Rin releases it

(Rin) "Sinkhole Prison!"

The ground under the tortoises legs forms into individual sinkholes, trapping the tortoises legs underground. The ground around the tortoises legs proceeds to compress, keeping the legs trapped underground

The tortoise realizes it's being attacked, and that it's trapped. It tries to turn its head to spot its aggressors, but to no avail

Unable to face its attackers, the turtle tries to hide its head inside its shell. Before that happens however, a powerful arrow coated in wind magic soars through the air into the tortoises eye. And as the tortoise roars out in pain, it gives the adventurers some time to dish out some more damage from the turtles newly created blind spot [For some reason I'm thinking of that video on youtube where its just a turtle making a stupid noise... Except instead of a stupid noise, its the Godzilla roar...]

Grey, Allen, and Tyrian run towards the tortoise. Allen attacks the unarmored parts of the tortoise left, while Grey jumps onto the tortoises head, and stabs the other eye with his rapier

Tyrian stops partway to the turtles neck, but then looks back at Rin and yells to her

(Tyrian) "RIN!!!"

(Rin) "?"

(Tyrian) "Remember that really cool move we came up with a while ago..."

(Rin) "Yes..."

(Tyrian) "Well it's time to use it!"

(Rin) "Fine, whatever you say you idiot"

Rin starts casting tier 3 wind magic

(Tyrian) "Why do you have to call me an idiot all the time! This move will be be cool, just watch!"

(Rin) "Whatever..."

Rin finishes casting the spell

(Rin) "Twister Blast"

(Tyrian) "Hey! Don't just whatever me*woosh*eeEEEEEE!!!"

Tyrian is blasted high into the air by Rins spell, and while falling, Tyrian draws his sword and activates a sword skill while Rin casts another spell called air cushion to help cushion his fall when he hits the ground

(Tyrian) "DOWNWARDS SPINNING SLAAAAASH!!!"

Tyrians sword skill activates, his body is filled with power and his sword is enhanced as he accelerates spinning downward towards the turtle, and then *BOOM*

Tyrians blade cuts the turtles head clean off before hitting the ground hard

(Rayla) "Is... He okay..."

(Rin) "Maybe..."

(Rayla) "What do you mean maybe!"

Rin walks over to Tyrians impact zone and casts a tier 2 healing spell

(Rin) "Minor heal..."

Tyrians injuries from the fall somewhat heal after the healing spell is cast

(Rin) "..."

(Rin) "Get up already moron..."

Rin starts to kick Tyrian while he's on the ground whilst continuing to tell him to get up

(Tyrian) "Ow ow ow ok OKKK!!! I get it!!!"

Tyrian staggers onto his feet so Rin will stop kicking him

(Tyrian) "You didn't have to be so rough about getting me up! All I wanted to do is see what your reaction would be if I didn't get up"

(Rin) "How exactly do you think I was going to react if you didn't get up..."

(Tyrian) "Oh you know, I thought you would cry like a little girl and beg for me to get up again, and once you think I'm dead, I'd get back up again. And then you'd say all sorts of nice things like -I'm so happy your alive- and stuff like that"

(Rin) "..."

(Rin) "Just die..."

Rin starts casting fire magic at Tyrian

(Tyrian) "Hey Rin... What are you aiming at?"

(Rin) "..."

(Tyrian) "Rin..."

(Rin) "..."

(Tyrian) "OI, someone could get really hurt you know... What if I get killed"

(Rin) "..."

(Tyrian) "Rin! Please stop!!! Rin!!! RIN!!! OH GOD *BOOM*"

(Bruce) '*Mental Facepalm*'
