Colonization and Stuff

The 3 ships are approaching Sandbox an amazing speed. They'll touch down within the minute, and Bruce is having no luck coming up with any ideas

(Bruce) 'Think Bruce think, what do you do...'

While Bruce is trying to think of a plan. The ships have already reached the beaches of sandbox, and the people begin to exit the 3 ships

(Bruce) 'Well, I'll just eavesdrop for now... Maybe I'll be able to figure out their intentions'

Bruce tries to listen to their conversations... But.....

(Humans) "#$%&@"

(Bruce) '...'

(Bruce) 'I CAN'T UNDERSTAND'

(Humans) "@!%@$%#@"

Bruce didn't understand the language of his new visitors... So he couldn't make out their intentions...

(Bruce) 'System! Help!!!'

(System) 'With what?'

(Bruce) 'With understanding their language! I can't understand it!'

(System) '???'

(System) 'You mean you haven't figured it out by now?'

(Bruce) 'What do you mean by..... Oh..... Hold on a second...'

Bruce tried listening to his visitors conversations again. And this time, some connections where made inside of his brain/core

(Humans) "%$#$#%$"

(Bruce) 'Come on already...'

Bruce starts listening to multiple conversations at a time to speed up the process until he can finally make out what everyone's saying. And after listening for a while, he manages to piece together that these people don't have any ill intentions, and just plan to set up a colony

(Bruce) 'hmm... Maybe I can have some fun with this...'

Bruce starts to place things like iron ore, and other materials that they'd need in order to thrive around the island...

{Colonists POV}

The ships finally reach the island... Once there, the adventurers are the first to exit the ship in order to scout the beaches, and make sure that the coast is clear for everyone else back on the ship

(??? #1) "What the hell!!!"

(??? #2) "Whats got you so worked up..."

(??? #1) "Do you seriously not see this right now! Why the hell are there SO MANY SLIMES!!!"

(??? #2) "I guess you could say there's a lot of slimes on the beach..."

(??? #3) "If the slimes bother you so much, just kill them..."

A group of 3 adventurers can be seen bickering on the beach. And even though they argue a lot, they're all close childhood friends who trust each other with their lives... Kind of...

The first adventurer is a male warrior named Tyrian. He's a 21 year old human, and is around 6 feet tall. He has short blonde hair, blue eyes, and a handsome face. Sadly though, it doesn't fit his highly assertive attitude. He loves the art of the sword, and has cut down many a monster using it. His equipment includes steel plate armor, steel longsword, a ring of protection, a ring of health regeneration, an amulet of strength, and a magic bag to fit various other miscellaneous things in

The second adventurer is a male rogue named Allan. He's a 21 year old human, and is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He has standard looking brown hair, green eyes, and an average face. He's the neutral force inside of the group. And has to settle disputes between his two companions constantly. His equipment includes a brown cloak, brown leather armor, 2 steel daggers, a ring of agility, a ring of stamina regeneration, a amulet of stealth, and a magic bag to fit various other miscellaneous things in

The third adventurer is a female mage named Rin. She's a 21 year old human, and is around 5 feet, 3 inches tall. She has messy black hair that goes down to her shoulders, black sleep deprived eyes, and a tired looking face. She's always getting into arguments with Tyrian, and Allan is the one who usually settle them. She spends most of her time studying and practicing magic. Sometimes she gets so focused in her studies, that she ends up going days without rest... Her equipment includes a black witches hat, black mage robes, a mages staff, a fancy looking magic spell book, a ring of mana regeneration, a mana storage ring, a amulet of mana regeneration, and a magic bag to fit various other miscellaneous things in

(Tyrian) "FINE, I'll do it!"

Tyrian walks up to the nearest slime and is just about to kill it when he noticed that something was a little off about the slime

(Tyrian) "Hey guys! Come and take a look at this slime, its color is a bit off!"

Before Allan and Rin can even say anything Tyrian grabs the slime with his bare hands and runs over to Allan and Rin waving it around

(Rin) "Are you wishing to lose your hands... It's like you have no common sense at all"

(Tyrian) "Oh come on! It's going to take a lot more than a slime to hurt me of all people!"

(Allan) "Rin has a point Tyrian... You can't just pick up a slime so carelessly like that. Your hands are starting to turn red..."

(Tyrian) "Yeah, whatever"

Tyrian tosses the slime towards Rin. As the slime flies towards Rin, she traps it in a magic bubble mid air and begins to look it over

(Rin) "Hmm... You were actually right Tyrian... There's something strange about this slime..."

(Tyrian) "Wait! I just thought it was something interesting to show you guys! But your saying that there's actually something wrong with it?"

(Rin) "Yes... The color differs from that of a green slime. While it may look similar, it is definitely different..."

(Allan) "And it's not like it's a rare instance either... These things are everywhere on this beach..."

(Rin) "Exactly my point"

Rin is taking something out of her magic bag while Tyrian can be seen with steam rising from his head out of confusion...

Rin proceeds to pull out a pair of glasses out of the magic bag, and then puts them on

(Rin) "Appraisal"

The glasses where lesser appraisal glasses... Often used by adventurers in order to scope out the basic information on anything they may find. However, the user must have a basic understanding of magic as well as enchanting in order to use them. And whatever the user is using the glasses on must be standing in one spot long enough for the appraisal to take effect

(Allan) "So... What is it?"

(Rin) "Hmm... The appraisal says its called a Lime Slime, rank F..."

(Allan) "That's strange... I've never heard of this type of slime before..."

Rins eyes are starting to sparkle in excitement of her new discovery

(Rin) "This is amazing, a whole new species of slime! I can't wait to start researching it!"

Rin runs back to the ship to begin research on the Slime, leaving behind a not phased in the slightest Allen, and a very confused Tyrian...

(Allan) "So... Did you get all that..."

(Tyrian) "..."

(Tyrian) "I get that I can still cut them!"

Tyrian runs off towards the nearest cluster of slimes and starts to cut them all down

(Allan) "*Sigh*, I may as well help set up camp..."

With the day coming to an end, the adventurers give the all clear signal to the rest of the ships passengers. And then a temporary camp is set up for the night outside as they're going to start construction as soon as possible when the morning comes... Another reason for wanting to camp outside instead of staying inside one of the ships. Is simply because the colonists where sick and tired of staying cooped up inside of the ships

Meanwhile at the campsite, Rin has turned her tent into her own personal research lab, Allan's volunteered for night watch duties, and Tyrian is busy cleaning off all the slime from his weapon and his armor. And then a few hours later, night came across the island

(Rin) "hmm..."

Rin is busy in her research on the slime... But she can't seem to find anything particularly special about it...

(Rin) 'It's stronger than a green slime, that's for sure... But at the same time weaker than a blue slime...'

(Rin) 'It also doesn't seem to have any special properties... It's just a green slime with a brighter color...'

After judging the Lime Slimes capabilities while alive... She kills it in order to study its monster core for any more details...

(Rin) '...'

(Rin) 'This is stupid... Its just the same results as last time...'

Rin decides to call it a night and wait until morning to go exploring the rest of the island... Who knows, maybe there's something even more interesting on the island somewhere else

{Bruce POV}

(Bruce) 'Poor slimes...'

Even though they were just slimes... Bruce felt bad for what they had to go through on a daily basis...

(Bruce) 'Well... That's enough moping around for now'

Bruce gets himself back on track, and decides to appraise the squad of three in the campsite, as he's curious about how strong they really are

{Appraisal Results}

(Bruce) 'Interesting... D rank means they're pretty powerful for humans, right?'

(Bruce) 'Well, no matter. I'll get to see how well they do once they decide to start exploring the forest'

{Colonist POV}

The campsite comes to life as the sun starts to rise in the distance. And as it rises, the colonists are moving about and disassembling the ships they came to the island on for easy building supplies while the adventurers explore the forest

Meanwhile in the Scaly Forest...

(Tyrian) "What the hell are these stupid things!!!"

Tyrian swings his longsword around at the strange yellow lizards attacking them at the moment

(Rin) "I don't know, but they're getting on my nerves"

Rin fires a volley of magic arrows towards the yellow lizards scampering all over the place, but to no avail as they just keep running around

Rin's finally had enough of these stupid lizards dodging her attacks, so she decides to cast a big attack that the yellow lizards can't dodge

Rin's magic book flips open and hovers in front of her. The pages then magically turn until they reach Rin's desired page, and she holds her staff out in front of her where a tier 3 magic circle appears. Rin takes her time charging up her spell, as it seems the yellow lizards are interested in Tyrian right now instead of her... Which is understandable due to how large of a racket he's making...

(Tyrian) "STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM ME EVERY TIME I LAND ONE HITTT!!!"

A vein can be seen on Tyrian's forehead as he powerfully swings his longsword around in rage

Eventually, Rin's spell is ready to cast. And she warns the others to get out of the blast zone

(Rin) "Fireball"

Rin fires a fully charged fireball towards the nearest group of yellow lizards...

The fireball flies through the air with tremendous force, and when it finally makes contact with something it explodes with massive force. Destroying and burning down multiple tree's that where caught within the blast zone

There where 5 yellow lizards caught within the blast zone. 1 one them was instantly killed, 2 where severely injured, and the last 2 where somewhat injured, but where still able to retreat into the forest with no problems

The Heavily injured yellow lizards also tried to retreat, but they weren't able to so fast enough. The first of the two lizards was instantly killed by Allan, who was just sitting back and waiting for the perfect time to strike, and when he got his chance, he dashed underneath the lizard gutting it with his two daggers

The second of the two lizards was killed by a severely pissed off Tyrian. The lizard could only look at Tyrian in terror as his longsword came crashing down on him full force. All the other lizards in the area where scared off by the sound of the large explosion, so the coast was clear after the two injured lizards where finished off

(Allan) "Hey Rin, what are these things"

(Rin) "Hold on... I'm appraising the dead bodies now"

Rin pulls out the appraisal glasses to appraise the dead lizards

(Rin) "It says that they're called Jagras, they're rank D-"

(Allan) "D-... Well thank the gods they're easy to scare off... If they weren't able to be scared off so easy, I don't know how this would've turned out..."

(Rin) "Agreed..."

After their little discussion, Rin takes notes of their fight with the Jagras while Allan and Tyrian harvest the monster cores from the Jagras corpses

While harvesting the core from a Jagras however, Tyrian gets attacked by a massive centipede

(Tyrian) "WHAT THE HELL!!! GET OFF ME YOU STUPID BUG"

Tyrian, still under the effects of the adrenaline rush from the fight earlier, manages to knock the centipede off of himself. Tyrian then proceeds to draw his sword again, preparing for another fight, when all of a sudden, the sound of large footsteps can be heard getting closer and closer

And then, from out of the depths of the forest, a massive yellow lizard comes charging at the large centipede. The centipede tries to fight back, but is easily overpowered by the giant lizard. The lizard then bites down on the centipedes head killing it, but it doesn't end there. The giant lizards jaw unhinges as it starts to swallow the massive centipede whole

(Tyrian) "What is that thing..." {Whispering}

(Rin) "I'm checking it now... Hold on..." {Whispering}

Since the giant lizard is standing still while scarfing down the centipede, Rin is able to appraise the creature standing before them

(Rin) "It's called The Great Jagras... It's Rank C-, and I can only guess its the evolution of the Jagras we fought earlier..." {Whispering}

The Great Jagras finishes swallowing its prey, giving it a funny bloated look. It glances at the 3 humans in front of itself, but decides to ignore them and the Jagras they killed, as they are of no concern to itself. So the Great Jagras just decides to go and waddle off into the depths of the forest

As The Great Jagras leaves, the three adventurers breathe a sigh of relief and decide to head back to the campsite to report their findings for the day... And even though the creatures on the island are a little intimidating. For some unknown reason, they decide to keep exploring the island anyway

{Bruce's POV}

(Bruce) 'I'll have to hold off on Deviljho for now... As it would be way to much for them to handle... But once they get strong enough... It will happen...'

A chill went down the Adventurer Trio's spines as they where heading back to the camp, as it felt like something bad was going to happen to them in the future...
