Reliving a Nightmare – Part 9

Just like the previous occasion, there were love bites everywhere. But they were in inconspicuous locations, so they were unnoticeable if she did not dress scantily.

Ah, she felt relieved to her surprise. As she rejoiced over getting spared leniently by the pervert, Ji Anning pursed her lips into a self-mocking smile.

After washing up quickly in less than two minutes, she presumed her clothing would have gone missing just like the last time, but they were unexpectedly folded properly and placed next to the washbasin in the bathroom.

She got changed and left swiftly.

Worried that her face might get captured by the hotel CCTV, she lowered her head and fumbled towards the lift.

"Hi, is this Mr. Ji Jingfeng's room?"

Jingfeng?

As Ji Anning walked by a room brushing past a hotel staff, she suddenly heard him mention, "Ji Jingfeng". At that, she shivered guiltily and halted instinctively.

She turned around for a look only to get stunned.

Ji Jingfeng parted his lips about to respond to the hotel staff, but the moment he looked up, he saw Ji Anning. With a troubled conscience on his face, he was shocked, "Anning!"

Loosely dressed in the hotel's bathrobe with his chest exposed and hair still slightly damp, it looked like he had just showered.

With a guilty conscience, Ji Anning stared at him open-mouthed about to ask what he was doing here.

The sweet voice of a girl suddenly came from inside the house, "Feng."

It sounded more affectionate than she ever said it.

Following that, a tall, slender girl dressed in sexy lingerie came walking out from inside with her long wavy hair a little wet too.

They seemed to be around the same age, and she was pretty. She had seen her before… It was their class monitor from primary one to six, Bai Guo.

She was intelligent and proud. Both her parents were university lecturers.

Bai Guo walked up next to Ji Jingfeng and held him by his arm lovingly.

Ji Anning instantly caught on and continued gaping in surprise.

She forgot or perhaps did not know how to react as she stood there dumbstruck.

"Anning, you… I…" Ji Jingfeng swiftly pushed the girl beside him away, and briskly rushed up in front of Ji Anning, "Anning, let me explain."

He reached out in an attempt to grab Ji Anning's arm.

Suddenly collecting herself, Ji Anning stepped back then swung around to cover her mouth and bolted off swiftly.

Ji Jingfeng wanted to give chase, but after lowering his eyes to see his clothing, he hurried back into the room.

Bai Guo followed him back into the room. At the sight of him getting dressed, she asked forlornly, "Feng, are you going?"

As Ji Jingfeng put his clothes on, he said anxiously, "Anning ran off. I'm worried she might do something rash. If she goes home and tells Mom or Grandpa, then I'm finished."

As he spoke, he had gotten dressed and was heading towards the door without so much as straightening himself out.

Bai Guo followed him as she stared from behind coldly, "Do you plan on keeping me hidden from the world forever?"

Ji Jingfeng promptly halted in his steps to turn around and gazed at Bai Guo lovingly, "Guo, give me time. I'll convince Mom for sure."

"Hmph," sneered Bai Guo, who turned to lean against the wall and stopped trying to prevent Ji Jingfeng from leaving.

Ji Anning had taken the stairs. Fortunately, since she was on the sixth floor, she ran all the way downstairs and darted through the luxurious hotel lobby.

Running out through one of the side doors on both sides of the revolving door, she raced into the fountain in front of the hotel entrance, which was still operating. She let the icy cold water gush at her torrentially concealing her tears.
