First Spark

By the time he reached the front, the confrontation had already reached the peak. Both parties were ready to fight. But alas, just before they could begin, the guards patrolling around the city came.

'Oh here comes the latecomers~'

"Today you got lucky. Next time this young master won't let you off." Ruby said and went away under the gazes of the patrol team.

'Looks like today I can hear a lot of old but never fading classic lines. Next line will be 'who is afraid of you' and then the next one will be 'just you wait' and they go on their own merry ways.'

"Heh! who is even afraid of you?"

"Just you wait for this lord. Next time we meet will be your last day."

'See, this started again... I actually have the power to forecast the future. Should I start this scam *cough* business? But they probably won't allow me to...' King was busy thinking with his 'paralyzed ice-cube face' when he was shoved by the surrounding people.

"What are you guys looking at? Never seen a person before?" The busy-body glared at them.

"Have seen plenty, but never a busybody like you. After all people like you are rare" King muttered.

"What did you say?"

'Ooops, did i say it aloud? Never-mind~ if you have a mind that is~'

Maintaining his aloof expression, King asked, "Is your hearing bad?"

King's personal guard, who was hiding near-by nearly fell from slipping on... nothing. He was on flat grounds. There was nothing to slip on on the first place! But he just happened to hear his idiotic master throw away his mask and start taunting people you see. It was vexing you know. It was hard being a nanny *cough* personal guard of this master~

The people who were being dispersed by the guards stopped and started forming a circle again. The guards were also frustrated. They just prevented a fight and now, another was on the verge on starting. One of the protagonist this time around was the well-known ice prince of the city and another was the previous jumping clown who didn't know how to mind his own business. Someone tell them how to resolve the matter!!! #Help #urgently in need of ideas!

"Big brother~ What are you doing?" A familiar voice sounded.

'Ah~ Our prayers have been heard~' The guards rejoiced~

King thought 'Ah~ my short lived walk of the day... T_T ... What a familiar voice~ She sounds just like my devil sis~'

Then ... there was no then. Everyone obediently made way for the new comer. King wished to become invisible but a certain sister had clearly marked him as her target. And thus, she made a bee-line towards him and asked him to accompany her politely. Just like a cute little sister, she hung on her brother's arm and pulled him.

That was what ordinary people saw. Nobody noticed the 'cute little sister' pinching her brother's arm and dragging him away. And just like that a helpless brother was dragged without anyone knowing the backstory.

'I am sooo going to get scolded 〒_〒' King grieved.
