9 Meeting Oliver Queen

I flew to Star City, then paused thinking, 'If I turn in this evidence now, it will give me a good start on shutting down Lionel, but it will be a butterfly effect. It will alter Lex's future actions, possibly preventing him from drowning. If his father gets ruined, he may not even come to Smallville. What should I do?'

Well, I guess this evidence has waited for years to come to the forefront. And I can wait. On the other hand, what if by waiting this much longer, the meteor rocks continue infecting people? And canon Clark saved Lex's life like 50-100 times. I can just let any of the upcoming murder attempts happen, and I don't have to count on the bridge accident.

It's decided. I will take action on this now.

"Where are you Oliver?" he asked himself as he scanned the city.

Eventually I spotted him in his office, doing something on the internet. I super sped into his office.

"How'd you get in here?" Oliver asked. "Never mind. I'm calling security. Diggle?"

A muscular black man said, "C'mon man. You can't just walk in this office."

I respond, "I'm here to give you evidence on your parents' deaths. And I need your help in exchange for the information. Are you willing to listen?"

Queen immediately gets out of his chair and proceeds to lift me in the air, "Listen, you little shit, if you're lying to me."

I calmly respond, "I promise. This is the real deal."

Oliver pauses then says, "I'm game. What kind of help do you need? What's the quid pro quo?"

I respond, "Normally, I wouldn't try to leverage someone's parents' deaths, but I don't have any other choice. There is a deadly situation in Smallville and thousands of Smallville citizens are being infected and I need Queen Industries to help me stop Luthor Corp from further poisoning these people."

Oliver responded, "You had me at screwing over Luthor Corp."

I smiled and handed over the Manila envelope containing the dossier of data on the Queens' deaths. Oliver flipped through the pages one by one and his expression got darker and darker.

"How the hell did you get this!?" Oliver yelled.

"Your parents used to be good friends with the Swann family. Virgil went to great lengths to acquire all that evidence. He was holding it over Lionel to protect someone else. That person no longer needs the protection so he wanted to make sure you got this," I explained. "If you want added insurance to make sure he goes to prison, are you interested in information on other murders he committed?"

"Hell yeah. Who else did he kill?" Oliver asked.

"As a teenager, Lionel conspired with Morgan Edge to kill his parents to collect the insurance money to fund LuthorCorp, and their criminal dealings continued well into their adult years." I described, "If you can get your top investigators to look into this. Maybe you can give immunity to Morgan Edge on the murder if he cooperates. I know for a FACT he had his parents killed. Lionel Luthor confessed under the use of an experimental truth serum, but don't mention that to anyone - it's inadmissible. Do you think you can have people work on this cold case? Run down all of his fixers and see what shakes loose?"

"Yeah, definitely. I've got great people. I'll bring down Lionel either way. All that remains to be seen is if he's getting consecutive life sentences." Oliver stated. "So what did you need from me specifically?"

"I need your help to deal with the meteor rock poisonings in Smallville. Exposure to this radiated meteor rock is mutating Smallville citizens. I can give you a list of people who are infected if you need evidence. Bob Rickman is one example. He got in a car accident and was infected with meteor rock and now has the literal power of persuasion. If you make contact with his skin, he can make you do anything he wants. Maybe you can do a little sting operation to see if you can catch him in the action. His power is very dangerous. He can make you even commit suicide or murder - the person commanded will be under his control until they complete the requested command or until they are snapped out of it like knocking them unconscious. Cassandra Carver at the Smallville Retirement Center is another meteor infected person. She lost her vision during the meteor shower and now she can see the future - all she needs is hand contact. Go see her if you don't believe me. Bring other people with you so you can test her. Tina Greer, a student who will be attending Smallville High has her skeleton laced with meteor rock. She has the power to physically morph into other people. Offer her money, I'm sure she'll demonstrate it for you. Jeremy Creek is another person who is infected. He has been in a coma for about 12 years and he will wake up this October. Don't ask me how I know that, just trust me." I said.

"Yeah, this stuff sounds kind of out there. Diggle did you get those names?" Oliver asked.

"Yes, boss. We'll get our team on it now." Diggle responded.

I said, "I need you to help alert the EPA and get these cases investigated. Then, will Queen Industries help with the clean up?"

Queen responded, "Absolutely."

I said, "One more thing. It's to screw over Luthor Corp."

Queen said, "Of course. Anytime you want to screw over Luthor Corp, I'm game."

I said, "There is a cave system located in Smallville, Kansas. The land rights above the caves were bought by Luthorcorp. I would like you to buy it and then donate it to the Kawatchi Tribe, you can contact Joseph Willowbrook for more details but it is absolutely imperative that the Luthors don't get their hands on those caves," explained Clark.

Queen said, "That's an easy one. Ok. So what's special about those caves?"

I said, "They contain old paintings that tell a story about an intergalactic traveler and his greatest enemy. There's also some weird stuff in there I'd rather not got into. There's supposedly some alien parasite in there that will infect the host into infecting others, then risking their lives doing dangerous stunts to amp up their adrenaline, so if you decide to check it out, please wear hazmat suits and heavy duty protective gear so you don't get infected."

Queen said, "This sounds so crazy. All of this. But I'm taking this all on faith considering the good information you've brought me so far and the promise that this will screw over Luthor Corp. Anything else you got for me?"

I said, "Sure. I'd like to go to the archery range with you sometime. And by the way, a good vigilante name for you would be Green Arrow. What do you think?"

Oliver gulped, "What the hell are you talking about?"

I responded, "Hey, don't worry. I'm not here to narc on you, I'm just busting your balls."

Oliver said, "There's no way you can have this level of detail. You're mentioning stuff that hasn't even happened. How is that possible?"

I said, "You'll just have to trust me, Mr. Green tights."

Oliver complained, "They're NOT tights. Uh, I mean, I don't know what you're talking about."

I responded, "Sure. Green pleather. Whatever. Ok, I'm on my way out the door. See ya!"

I quickly turn away and leave the way I came in.

Queen yells, "Wait! What's your name!?"

Oliver says, "Whatever. We've got to have a good angle on his face so we can run recognition. Diggle, run it."

Diggle responds, "On it."
