1 1.Transmigration?

"Huh?"

"Where am i?"

"Wasn't I just resting at my office?"

Alexander looked around in confusion, he was just resting at his office chair after signing a big deal, but now he found himself in this unknown room.

"Did I get kidnapped?"

"No, this room doesn't look like one which would be used for a kidnapping."

Even though the situation was strange, he didn't have much of a reaction since he knew panicking won't help him in any way.

"Did a rival company pull this to get some profit from my deals today?"

Alexander wouldn't be surprised if this happened, he had been approached by many companies already.

Many people coveted his company's wealth and others wanted to recruit him under their wing.

Alexander was a hot topic in the business world, he was a young never before seen talent which shocked many by establishing his own company which had net-worth of hundreds billions and his own net-worth was in billions too.

Alexander looked around some more and then his eyes fell on the big sliding glass door and that was when he got the shock of his life.

"What the?!"

He hurried to the door and got a good look and was now shocked to the core looking at the reflection on the screen.

It was not the face that he had seen all his 26 years of life. It was a face which looked strange but at the same time familiar.

"What is happening right now!?"

Alexander was touching his face frantically all over trying to see if it was a mask but stopped when he had no luck even after a few minutes of scratching and groping his own face.

"Haah, have I been fed some narcotics or what."

Alexander went back to the big sofa in the room to calm himself down.

"Haah, what the hell is-URGH!"

He hadn't even sat down properly when he was hit with a terrible headache. He was grunting while holding his head trying to ease the sensation somewhat but didn't look any better.

"ARgh!"

"Huff huff."

It was only after a long 15 minutes did the headache go away and he was left gasping for his breath.

"Well, FUCK!"

"I really got transmigrated."

Alexander said with visible shock on his face, he believed himself to be able to keep calm in various situations but this was too freaky for a modern guy like him.

He had just got the memories of the old body's owner which he still had to sort out a bit due to the suddenness but one thing was sure he had changed bodies.

'Alright, let's put together my thoughts first.'

'I, Alexander Smith, have transmigrated into the body of a 21 Year old youth, whose name is Dan Gunwoo.'

'I just got the guy's memory so they are still a bit jumbled, might be alright after some time.'

The name is Korean so I might be in Korea, Please don't be North.'

Alexander didn't want to lose his freedom by being in North. All he could do was hope before assembling his jumbled memories.

'Am I in the same world or parallel world?'

"Haah, all this thoughts could come later, Let's sleep for now and hope its all a dream."

Alexander was worn out due to all the recent unbelievable developments, he fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. The earlier headache too took a big toll on him.

.

.

.

.

Three hours later.

Alexander who has been sleeping on the couch in the living room of the house he was currently in slowly opened his eyes and got up still a bit sleepy.

"AAH! That was one nice nap."

"Can't remember when was the last time I slept like that."

"Hmm, I feel refreshed, but where am I again?"

Alexander who had just woken up from the beautiful slumber was still a bit dizzy to make head or tail of the situation.

"Ah! So I really got transmigrated."

"It's not a dream."

Alexander with some lingering fascination broke out of his delusions when he looked at his new hands.

That was enough for him to accept his reality.

"Hehe, hahaHAHAHAHA!"

"Finally! I could get away from my hectic life."

"All that money, Fame, Power but not a single moment of peace."

"I have finally escaped from that tiring life!"

"Hahahaha!"

Alexander, even though was a successful person in his previous life was not happy with his life.

He was an orphan, so he didn't have any parental expectations to fulfill. He also didn't have any interest in starting a family, it would bring him down that's what he always thought.

From childhood, he always had one goal, to become self-sufficient enough to never be uncomfortable in his life.

He achieved success, yes. And extremely quickly at that, but he didn't have any goal after that, the only option was to keep earning more and someday maybe earn enough to not worry about anything and live a peaceful life.

But that would be extremely hard, since once you let your guard down, you would be swallowed whole, even the bones would not be spared.

So this Transmigration was a massive break for him which would allow him his peaceful life.

Hence, his outburst.

"Haah! This is just great."

"I could finally live a peacefully."

"Even if this body might have some troublesome past or whatever, it can't come in between my peace."

After his outburst, Alexander was already calm and was now looking through the memories to get some other information out.

All he knows currently is that the owner of the body was someone named Dan Gunwoo.

After some time he already had a thorough understanding of his situation, and looking through the memories didn't give him much of a shock since experiencing transmigration he was already immune to it.

The original owner, Dan Gunwoo, was actually a hidden child of a big business tycoon who had connections all over the world, whether it be underworld or governmental organisations.

He was someone who stood at the top.

The tycoon only had him as a family member, since his mother died after giving birth to him, and had always felt guilty for not being able to bring him out in public as that would bring harm to the young Gunwoo.

Dan Gunwoo was a smart child and could understand his father's difficulties, which brought forth more guilt to the father for forcing his lone child to mature earlier. So, he tried to make it up to him by providing all the necessities he ever wanted.

But Dan Gunwoo was never interested in monetary possessions and wanted to help his father somehow, but since he didn't have much interest in running a business or other intellectual works, he decided to train himself in war practices to protect his father from harm.

His father allowed him to do whatever he wanted, and soon Dan Gunwoo was being taught various fighting techniques from a young age.

He was genius in combat and fighting techniques and had a body which was most suitable for fighting, so he had mastered various fighting styles like Karate, Muay Thai, Tae Kwan Do, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Aikido, Boxing, and many more by the age of 12, which shocked his teachers and his father to the core, he could be considered a monster in human skin at fighting, and he hadn't even developed fully.

One could only imagine how fearsome he would be when he grows up, but Gunwoo was not satisfied with this, he knew he had immense potential and wanted to tap it to its truest extreme. So he then set his sight on armed combat, Gunwoo's father was an influential man, so training with a gun and owning one was a norm for them.

With his previous experiences in fighting techniques, it wasn't long before he increased his proficiency with arms and other handheld weapons.

Whether it be guns, knives, swords, spear, he could use them with ease. It just took him 2 years to master all these weapons.

Thinking he was ready, he decided to become a mercenary in Syria to get real battle experience, at the age of 14.

He worked as a mercenary for 6 years, and become a famous figure in the mercenary world with extremely good track record.

Obviously with a hidden identity.

Dan Gunwoo was a monster in truest sense possible.

It was when he was 21 years old, his life went downhill, his father for whom he had strived to protect and mastered the art of combat, died in a plane crash due to unforeseen weather changes.

His enemies couldn't kill him but nature did.

This news was relayed to him by his fathers most trusted friend and right hand man, Pak Young-ho, who was the only man who knew of his existence.

He was someone both of them trusted, after his father's death, he could be considered his only family member alive.

Pak Young-ho told him that his father knew he wasn't much interested in his business, so he could either inherit his father or live his life however he wanted, his father just want him to be happy.

He would still be getting the money his father left behind for him in any case and the shares in the company.

Dan Gunwoo who had lost his goal didn't want anything to do with the business, so he left the business in Pak Young-ho's hand and moved to Incheon to live a simple life.

".."

"This guy's whole life could be made into a movie."

Alexander really admired Dan Gunwoo for his efforts.

Both Alexander and Dan gunwoo were same, they both had a goal which they worked their entire lives for but never had much time for themselves and aspired for a peaceful life in the end.

Alexander was a genius in the field of intellectual abilities.

Dan Gunwoo was a genius in the field of physical activities.

The combination of a genius in mind and a genius in body could only be describes as extremely dangerous.

"Dan Gunwoo, I really empathise with you, we both wanted a peaceful life."

"Don't worry, for the sake of us both I would live a peaceful simple life."

"I will be Dan Gunwoo from today onwards."

This was the moment when Alexander, no, Dan Gunwoo, truly accepted his new reality.

"Now that all the thinking is over, let's take a nice long bath."

He really needed a bath right now, all the memory merging and acceptance had stressed him out.

He soon made his way to the bathroom, and was surprised again that the bathroom was really spacious.

"We both really had same preferences."

Gunwoo had a smile on his face, he didn't like to feel cramped in the bathroom, so the big size of the bathroom was a pleasant surprise for him.

He then stood in front of the full-size mirror and finally got a good look at his new body.

He had an extremely handsome face with emerald green eyes and ink-black hair..

Dan Gunwoo took off all his clothes and was really impressed, he had the most perfect muscles he had ever seen, he had six- pack abs, veiny arms, strong legs.

And the thing which impressed him the most was his little brother or rather the big brother in this case.

He was really satisfied with his new battle hardened physique and he could tell that he could use all the techniques that the original had learned in his life with ease.

His body was also covered with dragon tattoos which he didn't like but didn't complain as it was inherited from the original.

'I can be considered the strongest man alive now right.'

He chuckled at that thought, he wanted a peaceful life but being ready for every situation is good and something he had always done in his previous life.

He stopped flexing in front of the mirror and got into the bath tub which could basically be considered mini sized pool, he could tell the room had been customized to the originals preferences which were the same as his.

'Now, that I think about it, I seem to have seen this guy's face somewhere before and the name Dan Gunwoo….'

'Ah! I remember, this was the protagonist of that manhwa I read before, The world is money and power.'

'But it doesn't seem to be that world….'

'I will go out later to look around and consider whether it's a parallel world or any other manhwa or manga world.'

Yes, He had read some manga and manhwa in his free times or watched some anime.

He had invested in many too.

In his past life other than raking in money, he sometimes would read or watch some anime or manhwa or H-manhwa, or if nothing else he would have some "fun" with ladies to relax his mind and body.

There would be many girls, who would come at you if you had both money and looks, so he was experienced in this field too and was veteran at that.

'The original seems to have bought a coffee shop to run.'

'He even got special training on making coffee too, that's impressive.'

'I should check that out too.'

"Haah, one thing at a time."

"I have all the time anyway."

Gunwoo then proceeded to close his eyes to relax with a smile on his face.
