Trip to the Academy

Marcus was at a standstill, he didn't know if he should support the Battle Mage or the Bloodline Mage. Marcus walked up to the retreating Vicar and said "Vicar, uh I think you should make up with Ethan because... Ethan comes from the Irius Clan, Ethan is the 4th young master of the clan and they won't leave you alone, I've seen many geniuses and these Nobel Clans are ravenous, never wanting anyone to have more power than themselves. I urge you to make up with Ethan but it is your choice in the end, I'm sure the academy will do everything in its power to protect you."

Vicar frowned lightly, he knew that Marcus was telling this for his own good and doesn't know of Vicar's true power but he felt that these Nobel Clans were a bit much if they went around killing anyone who opposes them.

He felt that it was a bit ridiculous until he heard the shout of an enraged Ethan, "VICAR YOU DARE WALK AWAY FROM ME MY CLAN WILL NOT LET THIS GO SO EASILY!!!"

Vicar who remembered the novels from his past life chuckled "Isn't this a bit cliche, reminds me of Earth, I wonder if all of them are okay."

He shrugged this thought and went to sit down outside in an empty bench a little bit outside of the Exam Area. After an hour, a giant airship peaked through the clouds and lander outside of Zoloriv. Marcus's shouted "Everyone who has been accepted as a student has been marked when you passed the orb tester and you can pass through the barrier without any obstacles. If you haven't passed an try to get through once you touch the barrier you will feel an unbearable pain and you could possibly die."

Everyone started climbing into the airship, Vicar waited till the end when the line was shorter and got onto the airship. Marcus spotted Vicar and sighed to himself "I thought he left, I was worried." He directed a disciple to lead Vicar towards a back entrance which was only for special people like Marcus but Vicar was allowed.

Vicar opened the door and found Marcus, Ethan, and one unknown girl. Ethan sneered when Vicar walked inside and said to Marcus "You, why is this guy in here only Academy Certified people can be in here."

Marcus shook his head and chuckled "I contacted the academy and they gave him a Golden Ordinance Seat in the Academy."

Ethan and the unknown girl gave a look of shock, especially Ethan "Why is he a Golden Ordinance student while I am only Silver Ordinance Student?"

The girl didn't ask anything directly but her face showed that she had the same question.

Marcus chuckled and didn't answer, he instead turned his attention to Vicar "Vicar, the academy has granted you a seat as one of the Golden Ordinance Students which means you will get more resources and attention than other students, please let me introduce, you already know Ethan Irius and this young lady is Miss Ava Astley from the Astley Royal Clan who possess the Ice Devil Serpent Bloodline"

Vicar looked at her through the side of his eyes, he could tell, although Ava acted shy and uninterested, she was sly and treacherous, although he didn't know why he could tell she wasn't a good person.

Ava gave a smile to Vicar and looked down again, this smile was caught by Ethan and he thought to himself "What the hell, this entire time she hasn't even looked at yet she gave a smile to Vicar... my clan will not let you go, ...never."

Vicar slightly nodded to her smile and sat down at the empty seat next to a glass window. He could hear the talking of people below the deck where Vicar and the "Special Students" were in. A voice sounded throughout the whole ship silencing everyone "We are beginning our 1-day journey to the Cloud Reach Academy, please do not use any spells or martial arts during our flight, and please be seated for most of the flight, thank you."

The airship lifted shortly after, Vicar thought "This is like airplanes on Earth except airplanes don't look like a boat flying through the air."

Marcus could see the anger in Ethan's eyes, even though no one else paid attention to him and Marcus spoke "I think we should introduce ourselves further, I'll start, I am from a middle-class family, due to my talent as a knight in my town I was allowed to go to the Cloud Reach Academy, I have reached 25,000 Battle Power and I will be able to break through to 30,000 soon. I am currently 26 years old"

Surprisingly, Ava spoke first "My name is Ava Astley, I am the daughter of the 2nd in command of the Astley Royal Clan which controls the Cloud Reach Kingdom, my bloodline is the Ice Devil Serpent Bloodline and I have reached 15,000 Mana Points recently, I will soon break through to 20,000 Mana Points. I am currently 16 years old."

Surprisingly again, Ethan spoke "I am Ethan Irius, I am the 4th Young Master Irius Clan and have the Blight Elf Bloodline. I have 10,000 Mana points and I will soon break through to 15,000 Mana Points. I am currently 17 years old."

Everyone suddenly looked at Vicar, they were honestly interested in his past. Vicar already practiced this, "I am Vicar Tempest, I am the last descendant of the Tempest clan which was exterminated by an unknown enemy, I am at 20,000 Mana Points and Battle Power and will break through to 25,000 soon. I am currently 15 Years Old."

This shocked everyone, Marcus had to reconfirm "You are from an exterminated clan, and you are 15 years old with 20,000 points?"

Ethan had a shocked expression while Ava had a face of pity, having one's clan exterminated and being the last one alive is terrible.

Ethan had to ask, "Since your name has tempest, do you have the ability to control lightning?"

Marcus was about the shut down the question when Vicar lifted his hands and a small spark of lightning floated above his hand. An aura came from the lightning that Ethan nor Marcus had felt before, but Ava knew what it was and she was shocked "WORLD LAW OF LIGHTNING!!!"
