1 Tired

Out in the dark cosmos two figures could be seen.

One was a humanoid figure, but whose body looks to be made up of countless galaxies. The other is an old man who stood 6'2, wrinkles all over his face, long grey Ash hair that reaches his waist, and beard that looks unkept. He had emerald green eyes, He's wearing a deep black robes with red accents comiing down from the neck and red lining on the inside. Black straight pants and black boots. He also had red arm guards and one hand was holding an ink black staff as talk as he. The top was shaped like a crescent move and inside the crescent was a blood red jagged crystal.

They stare at each other. The OmniGod eyes you cannot see but the Old Man, his eyes look lifeless, dull, empty...dead.

"So you did it?" -OmniGod

"Yes"-Old man

"Was did it cost?"- OmniGod

"Everything" -Old Man

"Was it worth it?" -OmniGod

"..." -Old Man

"Silence I see. Then let me as you this, Do you regret it?" -OmniGod

"...I can't" -Old Man says with a down cast look.

"Why?" -OmniGod asks with interest in his answer.

"...for them, I cannot." -Old man responds.

"Why?" -OmniGod retorts still interested in his answer.

"You know of the Bible don't you. In there, there's a scripture I read. It goes, 'Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lays down his life for his friends.' John 15:13. So for them, for their love I can't regret. I looked them each in the eyes before the final moments and there was nothing but love for each other. For them I cannot regret." -Old Man says with a flash of life in his eyes that left just as quickly as it came.

"I see." -OmniGod nods in understanding.

"If you could, just make sure their souls are given a better life. You are the master of it all." -Old man voices with a hint of begging and pleading.

"As a favor you, it will be done. You've spent hundreds of thousands of years living a life of pain. Its the least I can do. However, what about you? You may ask anything of me." -OmniGod

"No...haaa...no, so long as they get a good life I'll be alright, as far as for me...haaa... the only thing I ask is..*cough*... for you to make sure she has a fulfilling and beautiful life, let her live out her dreams she couldn't live out when she was alive with me. The same goes for the child." -Old Man exclaims out of breath.

"It is done, do you not want to be with them? I can make it happen." -OmniGod says trying to persuade the man.

"Ha! that's a fools errand...*cough cough*... when a soul goes through reincarnation, yes they have the same soul and nature but as we both know, who a person is, is based on their environment, who they associate with, their circumstances throughout their life. They died thousands of years before me so they have probably been through reincarnation many times and fallen in love countless other times, I just need them to be happy. They would not be the woman I fell for and been through so much with not the smiling child that brought joy, in dark times. They wouldn't even remember me... but it's fine" -Old Man says tears rolling down his face when it came to the last part.

'I wasn't the her I promised you I'd be. I wasn't the man you saw in me before at the beginning. I wasn't there with you my little angel when you cried out for me, begging and pleading for me to save you! I didn't make it in time! All that speed and power, and for what? Just to fail all the same.' -Old Man tears kept falling like rain.

"My friends, my lover, my child. All of you, thank you and goodbye" -Old Man mutters to himself

"I understand, if that is your wish, I will make do on my words." -OmniGod

"You know...haaa...I hated you when it all went down, I she's more tears that day than all the time I've been alive. I don't hate your any longer...haaaa...I don't understand why you do the things you do but I no longer need to. I thanked you in the beginning, had faith in you in the middle, hated you toward the end. Now, I've given up trying to understand.

You helped me in some ways but never gave me all the answers, and not everything I wanted. You gave me the chance to become more than what I once was. I've made choices, I've grown, I've lived, now I'm tired. So let's end it here. I'm ready to sleep with death." -the Old Man opens his arms letting go of everything. Letting go like a paper in the wind, never to be seen again.

'We took a gamble on the world you'd reincarnate to, 'twas a world not meant for the faint of heart. You survived, but at a cost. You want death, but I won't give it to you. It's not what I do. You don't know but you gained a lot more than you know of there. So, probably for the last time, live again.' OmniGod waved his had and a burst of light flashed in the empty space.

"May the oppais save you!" -OmniGod
