3 chapter 2

Maddie ran for a few hours, her feet sore and blistering and scratched from the branches and other plants covered her legs. Still though she refused to turn back she did not want to be robbed of her independence its not fair to her, she didnt want this at all, But why does it hurt when she thought of leaving them....why did part of her crave the love and affection they had been showing her, it made no sense.

She didnt understand..she had been alone since her family died which had been when she was twelve. she had only just been reaching teenagerhood....but even before that her life hadnt been the best....sure her siblings loved her...but she was most of the time completely forgotten by her parents, sometimes to the point where her parents just forgot she existed and ended up forgetting to make enough food for her.....but she had been happy.......right?.

people that love you will do things like that....its normal...right?. shaking her head to rid herself of these traitorous thoughts she then continued her trek onwards, her goal being a small abandoned village at the edge of the forest. she was determined to not be found.

(lets see what the slenders are up to)

splendor was searching the entire house top to bottom for there precious 'little sister' he had been worried, the girl didnt come down for lunch and none of the brothers had seen her since breakfast, he was scared that something had happened to her. she was much to young and was still unable to use her abilitys to protect herself if something did happen.

hes not the only one looking though slender and offender had decided to scout the forest and honestly splendor had enough indoor searching because it was obvious she wasnt in the house, he then walked outside to join offender, trender and slender. "splendor any luck?" splendor shook his head tears springing to his eyes "what if we never find her! what if-" he gasps horrified "w-what if she is found b-by hunter's s-shes to young she wont be able to defend herself. s-she would be an easy kill for them" splendor was terrified, there was many different horrible scenario's running through his mind and each one was worse then the last.

"dont worry....we will find her before any of them do. i promise" slender was just as worried when he said this but he wasnt joking when he promised this, he would not loose lyn like they did there parents. "are we all ready to go?" slender had to make sure that no-body was forgetting anything before they left the 'mansion'.

One by one the brothers nodded and once it was confirmed that everyone was ready, they headed out to search. slender had a single thought on his mind when they left however, one thought that continuously played like a broken record in his mind.

(alright now back with l....i mean maddie)

After a while more of walking maddie collapsed, she couldnt go any further. her muscles ached and her legs were all bloody from the random sharp sticks, thorns, rocks and bugs. {im so sore} she took deep breaths of air as she rested {i-i cant go any further, and from that marked tree that i marked a while ago i can tell i have been walking in circles....im cold, hungry and scared and i kinda wish i had stayed at the house with those..... monsters....at least then i would have been warm, safe and fed}

she sobbed and pulling herself slowly to her feet she made her way over to a tree with a hole in the center and she climbs into it, only just managing to get shelter as it started raining. "w-why?.....why does this mi-misfortune always happen to me!?. its not fair"

all her life all she wanted was to be happy but every time she found happiness something would happen, her parents and siblings died and then she found herself being stuck with monsters, her entire life has been stolen from her, "w-will i ever find happiness?" she sniffles and rubs her eyes with a hand "or am i doomed to be miserable my entire life"

maddie was completely unaware of the brothers little search party, she was also unaware of the eyes that were watching her from the shadow's.

(with the brothers)

"b-but w-what if" a loud sigh is heard, cutting off the sentence "splendor stop with the what if's we will find her, there is no 'what if's' about it" slender was getting rather annoyed about splendor prattling on about all the 'what if's' as every time he says a new one he worries even more and that isnt a good thing considering they have to keep a straight head in order to find her.

"lyn must be starving and freezing by now" trenders voice was soft as he says this he felt terrified he and offender were rather young when the small family's parent's were killed.....there parents were killed by hunters and the only reason that the boys and there sister survived is because they had been sent out to find food for lyn and splendor had decided to bring the infant with him. and being honest he would rather not experience the pain of loosing a loved one for real this time.

offender seemed to be the most quiet, he hasnt said a single word since they had left to search for lyn, but offender was just as worried as the rest of them perhaps even more as he knew how sick humanity could be, and if shes found by the wrong human.....no he refused to think of that scenario he just had to hope that lyn had found shelter and was safe. after all at the moment that is all he can really do, even if it hurt him not being able to do anything to help there little sister

(with maddie)

maddie could see someone come out of the shadow's, it looked like a man and she was rather confused. she then pulled herself out of her spot, "hello? who are you?" the man turned to her and seemed to grin at her "my names regan whats yours beautiful?" maddie was a little weirded out by him calling her that after all to her eyes she was rather plain. "m-my names maddie.....im trying to find the way out of the forest,...can you help me?" the man smiles and nods, maddie not noticing the hidden intent in his eyes.

"sure thing hun fallow me" maddie followed him through the forest until they reached a very very small clearing "this isnt the way out of the forest" the man grinned and maddie found herself pushed to the ground the man pressing his weight on her "your right" his face twisted into one of pure lust and maddie shivers she was scared, terrified even "this isnt the way out of the forest, but its the perfect place to have a little fun with you before selling you off" maddie gave him a look of horror and struggles heavily "heh i love it when they fight me" she couldnt think properly, she couldnt breath either as she watched in horror as he cut off her dress, when he reached for her underwear however she screams loudly hoping for someone to hear it and come to save her.

(with the slenders)

a scream rang out and the brothers immediately recognize it "LYN!!" all four of the brothers scream this and they bolted towards the direction of the scream, they came into a clearing to find a human male on top of 'lyn' who was very nearly naked except for her underwear, it caused the brothers to become furious and slender who was the first one to react immediately jumped at the man and pushed him into a tree, offender joining him while splendor and trender ran over to the girl and gently helped her up.

"that-that horrid human!!" trender sounded furious and seconds later she found herself being gently hugged by splendor, maddie feeling relived by her rescue started sobbing into splendor's chest, her body shivering violently as she cried "its alright let it all out" splendor's voice was a soft whisper sounding very gentle even though it was obvious that he was pissed off as well. maddie couldnt help but let them comfort her at the time because they made her feel safe as she cried her heart out.

trender produced a new dress rather quickly as splendor hugged her and gently started to ease it on maddie as she cried.eventually she had no more tears to cry and she sniffles wiping her eyes of her tears. "are you alright? he didnt hurt you?" splendor's voice was very gentle as if though he was worried anything more would set maddie off into another crying fit. "i-im ok" she sniffles "he didnt get to do anything besides remove my cloths before you a-arrived" splendor nods and holds her close, gasping and pressing lyn's face to his chest when he saw slender and offender coated in that mans blood "not around lyn! shes not ready yet!" splendor glares at them and slender and offender got out of easy sight,

"alright lyn. lets go home" splendor hummed and gently nuzzles the girl with his "nose", maddie seconds later nodded and they started walking back, maddie completely unaware of the mans fate.
