2 Chapter 1

(in this story splendorman is eldest sibling and slenderman is second eldest) {that...that smells familiar} It was the smell of cooking food that roused maddie from her sleep the delightful scent cutting through the air. maddies mind was foggy and her limbs felt strangely heavy, her skin also had the feeling of pins and needles all over it. {it smells...almost like mum's cooking} The smell that cut through the air was nostalgic, it reminded maddie of the days when her family was still alive, the days where she would be woken up by her younger sisters yelling and stomping around and the smell of home-cooked food. {did someone break into my home while i was asleep?....if so...why would they break in just to cook...it makes no sense} Strangely enough, maddie could also hear the sound of paper being turned....as if though someone was reading a newspaper in her room. {did...did my blanket get heavier?...} her blanket felt....off, as if though someone had replaced it by something heavier....or even placed another blanket on top of her, but the texture and smell was the same as it had been before and she could only feel one on top of her so neither of those could be right. Slowly maddie opened her eyes, allowing them to adjust to the rays of light that streamed in through her window, she was annoyed she didnt want to have her head facing the stupid window anymore as every time she opens her eyes she would get a blast of light in her eyes. Its rather disorienting. Allowing herself the 'pleasure' of sitting up she brought a hand up to her face and yawned rubbing her eyes with her hands, her sushi roll of a blanket cocoon falling down to her waist as it wasnt supported anymore. Once her vision focused she lifted her head up and started to scan the room for anything strange her eyes taking in everything. {bed, nightstand, chair, faceless man wearing a tux, bookshelf, door...wait...faceless man wearing a tux!!} her head snaps back to where she saw the 'man' and her eyes widen, right there sitting in a chair beside her bed was the slenderman himself but something was off.....he was acting to calm for a human hunting monster. He was simply sitting there reading a newspaper as if though relaxing in a victims house was completely normal for him, and he seemed to almost completely ignore her. After a while he seemed to notice maddie staring and he put the newspaper down, tilting his head. maddie for some reason had the thought that he was smiling at her, and she was confused...but also frightened i mean hes a human killer who wouldnt be afraid of him...someone crazy thats who. maddie watched wearily as he moved the newspaper to the dresser beside the chair and slowly started reaching out his hand towards her, she backs away pressing her body against the head of the bed as far as she could go until she couldnt move up any further, and she closes her eyes awaiting her end. Minutes passed and nothing happened which confused her, just when she was about to open her eyes again she felt pressure on her head and something combing through her hair...it was warm and strangely enough rather gentle as if though whatever it was is scared of harming her. She then slowly opens her eyes and found that the pressure and combing sensation was his hand on her head, his fingers running gently through her hair. {h-hes not....hes not attacking me?} maddie somewhat relaxed upon realizing this, not completely though as she needs to be ready to run in a moments notice. {why is he acting so calm....the slenderman is the last creature i would expect to be this calm especially towards a human} she heasitated but slowly reached upwards and gently took his giant hand in hers, it was rather interesting, his finger tips were slightly sharp like a claw almost and the white skin was very smooth maddie couldnt find a single scar or imperfection on his skin. looking over at slender after a while of examining his hand maddie could see his shoulders shaking, at first she thought that he was upset with her for some reason but she could hear soft sounds coming from him moments later it....it sounded like.....laughter. as if though sensing maddie's fear and confusion she could suddenly hear him talking to her in an american accent, his voice was rather strange, it sounded like it was coming from his direction but it wasnt sound based, it was rather confusing to "hear" someone without her ears. "lyn? child are you alright?" his voice was soft and surprisingly rather gentle as he "spoke" to her, from how slender was acting it was obvious that slender wasnt going to hurt her {what the hell!! slenderman isnt supposed to even Exist what in the world is going on here?....any why did he call me lyn...thats....thats not my name...my name is maddie.} "i-im....Im f-fine" she trembled slightly in fear as she answers him, not wanting to make him upset. she was scared that if she made him angry he would kill her. what she didnt realize however is that her fear caused slenderman to worry wondering what was scaring his "little sister". maddie was shocked when suddenly she found herself on slender's lap with his arms around her and she immediately struggled to try and get out of his grip "Shhh shhh its alright child, I've got you" {yeah! thats the entire problem!} she pushed on his chest trying to get him to let go. "child relax" "perhaps your holding her to tightly" she froze upon hearing the new voice and she shifted around to see, who she saw was a faceless man wearing glasses, a light brown sweater and a pair of jeans, she was scared, how many inhuman people are currently in her home?!. "i doubt it, after all i am holding her how i always have....she has never acted so skittish and frightened towards me before now" maddie whimpers softly as she struggles even harder to get free eventually she manages to slip out of slenders arms "lyn!!" The shock in there vocal tones was hard to miss and she tries to run only to scream as a black snake like thing wraps around her midsection picking her up off the ground "why did you do that!? you could have been harmed, that was a rather big drop for someone so young to take!" She writhes trying to slip out of the 'tentacle?' 'tendril?' "im not a child! im twenty five!" the two faceless beings 'felt?' amused but also concerned as she yells this "oh lyn" she could "hear" slender chuckle and then "look" at her in sadness "you poor child whoever your caretaker was, was not a good one....you act much to old for a child your age...you seem to even believe you are older then you actually are. do not worry however your brothers are here to care for you now, you will no longer need to depend on just yourself for survival" maddie looks at them with absolute annoyance {t-they.....they seem to think im actually this lyn person!! what the hell!! i dont want to give up my independence!!} The one wearing the brown sweater fixed his glasses before speaking "would you mind if i took lyn for a bit? i had finished making a new dress for her and i would like to see her try it on. im sure she will like it" slender looks to the squirming girl in his tendrils and then looks back to the man before nodding "you may. however make sure to keep watch of her from what i have seen so far its possible she will try to run off and i worry for her safety right now....who knows what those beasts known as humans have done to her" upon finishing his sentence he reached over and ran his fingers through the girls hair causing her to flinch away upon contact. The one with the glasses seemed to smile at her softly and crouched down to get closer to the girls height "why dont we get you out of those pajama's and into a brand new outfit Hmm?" maddie looked around for an escape as the tendril keeping her still pulled away from her body, however seeing no open routes she hesitantly looks to slender and then to the glasses man before deciding that mr.glasses here looked a lot safer and she slipped her smaller hand into the mans own, his fingers gently closing around her hand. "we should be finished around breakfast time" maddie watched as slender nodded and moments later the man started walking away leading her along. The hallway as they walked was rather empty, everything they passed also seemed to be on a much larger scale then it was the night before seemingly having grown to be suited for the faceless creatures own towering height {what happened last night...im scared and everything is different....is this my life now} they turned a corner reaching the stairs and they walked up it, turning to the first door on the right {i....i dont recognize this room did a few new rooms appear when these beings did? or is something else at play} The man turned the doorknob and pushed the door open to show a room that had fabric thrown around everywhere and shelves full of sewing supplies, in the back of the room there were three large tables each one having one sewing machine on it and about twenty different manikins were set up around the room each one having a work in progress outfit on it. He let go of maddies hand once they were inside and he has closed and locked the door behind them.....{gee thats not ominous at all} He then walks over to a pile of cloths leaving maddie to her own devices as he looked. slowly the girl looked around the room and upon seeing one of the many manikins slowly walked up to it before stopping at touching distance...she slowly reached for it only for her wrist to be grabbed by a hand and she screams before yanking her arm away and backing up tears fell out of her eyes from the fright she had just received "oh no no no i didnt mean to frighten you im so sorry" he hadn't meant to scare the girl only stop her from touching the manikin. upon feeling the guilt the man was experiencing for making her cry maddie wipes her eyes feeling somewhat bad for making him feel bad "i-it's a-alr-alright" her voice was a mere whisper but the man heard it and seemed to smile softly. he then showed her a red dress he was holding "would you mind lifting your arms for me hun?" she hesitated but slowly lifted her arms up for him as requested, moments later his hands were grabbing at the edges of her shirt which she didnt realize was over-sized until now and he pulled it off of her leaving her topless, the same was then done to her pants leaving her naked except for a pair of underwear she had luckily been wearing underneath. {mom was right...you never truely know embarrassment until you have been undressed and changed by a person you dont even know....} He then pulled the dress over her head grabbing her arms and pulling them through each sleeve until she was left standing in it. maddie was amazed by the comfortableness of the dress it was soft and went down to her knees, it didnt itch like most dresses she has worn either which was a plus to her. "wonderful it fits you perfectly. not that it wouldnt anyways" he seemed content with his work and she watched as he fixed the collar of the dress "now that we're finished here we can go down for breakfast, im sure your starving!. from what we saw in the fridge it looked as if though your previous "caretakers" didnt feed you properly at all. im sure splendor has finished cooking by now....if offender didnt try and take over and burn it all again" {not feed me properly? caretakers? i fed myself thank you very much and i dont have any caretakers, what the hell are wrong with these creatures} the man gently took her hand in his once again and after unlocking the door led her out of the room taking the same route they took on the way up but instead of turning right when they reached the hall my bedroom was in they turned left into the dining room (yup my bedroom is right by the kitchen) to her horror two more of those creatures greeted her, one of them was wearing a polka-dotted suit with a top-hat and a drama mask like face and the other one was wearing a trench coat with a fedora he had only half a face...a mouth.... that was full of razor sharp teeth and was pulled into a natural smirk. Maddie also spotted slenderman setting up the table, he attempted to give her a friendly wave only for maddie to hide behind "mr. glasses" causing slender to sigh softly realizing that gaining maddies trust is going to be hard. the happy faced one then entered the dining-room from the kitchen wearing a apron that says "smile for the cook" on it, upon seeing maddie his face seemed to light up and before he could do anything "mr glasses" shook his head "splendor, lyn is very frightened right now it would be best not to do anything that would startle or scare her" the one that maddie now knew as splendor smiled softly "i know~ slendy already informed me" splendor then reached a hand out for her to take being very slow which seemed almost unnatural for him "hello lyn~ would you like to help me cook?" she thought about it before slowly putting her hand in his letting him lead her into the kitchen. maddie could feel splendor look at her in the corner of his vision "thats a pretty dress, did trender make it for you?" {is trender the one wearing the glasses?} she hesitated but nodded "....yes" her voice was soft and almost impossible to be heard "thats nice, trender makes all of our cloths even slendy's suits" maddie smiles softly "did you know that when slender was much younger then he is now he was a very cheerful but quiet child?" she tilted her head "r-really?" splendor chuckles "indeed. i would always have to save slender after he got himself stuck in a tree, or even untangle his tendrils from a branch or even himself" maddie giggles at the silly story causing splendor to smile at her maddie listened to his stories as they cooked, the girl helping occasionally using her adult cooking skills to help as much as she could, and by the time the food was done a delicious scent wafted out through the house. the girl tried to take a plate to the dining room only to be stopped by a belled tendril as it grabbed the plate from her. "i've got this hun, thats to heavy for you to carry im afraid if i let you then you would probably accidentally drop it on your little toesies and that is no laughing matter" She sighs and nods, feeling useless {where has my independence gone, i liked doing things all on my own, this Isnt fair} seeing how sad maddie looked splendor frowns and then uses a tendril to hold out the maple syrup to her "why dont you take this to the table for me" she wanted to say no and walk away but after seeing how eager splendor looked to cheer her up she couldnt help but sigh and take the.....rather large....bottle of maple syrup from him "alright" splendor grinned and they enter the dining room "food's done!" splendor seemed happy to announce this as they walked into the room. walking up to the table maddie had to step on her tippy toes to slide the syrup on the table and splendor as he slid the plates onto the table as well patted her head before a tendril wrapped around her midsection causing her to yelp, and she was sat in a highchair {grrreeat something even More demeaning} a much smaller serving of food was also sat in front of her on a child's plate. "there we go sweetheart~" upon looking over she realized that it was the fedora wearing one who had set her in the seat and she shifted a bit uncomfortably...she didnt know why but he just.....felt....wrong. after maddie was in her seat everyone started to eat, maddie seemed to just pick at her food though her mind wandering. {what happened....how did these beings appear here and,.....why me-} "....n!" {why couldnt it have been someone else in my place-} "L....n!!" {i was happy with my independent life...i dont want this-} "Lyn!!!" maddie jolted and snapped towards the sound to see all four brothers looking at her worried "lyn are you alright? you havent eaten a single bite and have just been staring into space! we're worried about you" splendor looked really worried about her for some reason. "im...im fine" she was confused...why do they care about her "im just thinking about stuff" she picks up her fork and slowly started placing some eggs and pieces of cut up pancake in her mouth (yep they cut up my freaking pancake for me because they were worried i would choke...well splendor did anyways) but upon putting a peice of bacon in her mouth she froze....the meat.....tasted....it tasted.....off.....but she slowly pushed through continuing to eat it she wanted to believe that it was just cooked weird upon finishing her breakfast she was about to get out of the highchair to take it to the sink when a hand came over and took it she looked up to find that it was slenderman taking the empty dishes to the sink to wash them and she sighs before climbing out of the highchair onto the ground. while the brother's were not paying attention to her due to cleaning up she made her way out of the dining room and down the hall until she stopped at the front door and slid her jacket and shoes on. taking a deep breath she turned the doorknob and opened the door, light streaming into the house. taking a last look back inside she left the house slowly closing the door behind her. Maddie grins happy to have escaped the four brother's for now and she runs off into the forest. (to be continued)
