It was late in the evening when Jungkook and Taehyung got ready for their date together. Taehyung dressed in a baggy white shirt and black sweatpants since Jungkook told him to dress comfortably.

"Taehyung, are you ready?" Jungkook shouted from the living room.

"I'm coming now," Taehyung shouted back, walking in the living room.

"There's my pretty baby. You look stunning as always," Jungkook complimented, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's waist and pressing a short kiss on the other's lips.

"Thank you, Kook," Taehyung said with his boxy smile.

"You're so cute," Jungkook cooed, pinching Taehyung's cheeks.

"Stop~," Taehyung playfully whined.

"Okay, bub. Let's get going now," Jungkook spoke, intertwining his fingers with Taehyung's, going to the front door. "Jimin, Taehyung and I are going out now. We'll be back soon!" Jungkook yelled before opening the door.

"Wait!" Jimin shouted, running from his room to the door. "Be careful, I think mom is looking for us, and I don't want you guys to get hurt," Jimin told and Jungkook nodding. He hugged both of them before they walked out the door. "Be careful and have an amazing date," Jimin said before the couple got into the car. Please be safe

Both Taehyung and Jungkook were in the car, as Jungkook was driving to their destination. Taehyung kept thinking about what Jimin said to him and Jungkook before leaving the house. That's all he had running through his mind. Taehyung broke out of his thoughts when he felt Jungkook hold his hand.

"Don't stress yourself about what Jimin said. My mom can't hurt us, and I'm here to protect you from danger," Jungkook softly said, bringing Taehyung's hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss on the back of Taehyung's hand.

"Can you teach me how to defend myself?" Taehyung quietly asked.

"We'll talk about that when we get home. I want to have a nice, non-worrying date with you," Jungkook said. "What do you want to eat?" Jungkook asked.

"I want burgers and fries," Taehyung excitedly said.

"Okay, we'll go to the Burger Shack then," Jungkook said, driving towards the fast-food spot.

When they got to the burger place, Jungkook went through the drive-thru and ordered what he and Taehyung wanted, before driving to the next spot that Jungkook planned on going to, to relax.

"We're here," Jungkook announced, parking his car not too far from a park.

"Jungkook, why are we at this park?" Taehyung shockingly asked.

"Let's settle down first," Jungkook said, getting out of the car, rushing over to the other side, opening the door for Taehyung. Taehyung grabbed the food and got out. Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's free hand and walked with him to the park. Jungkook placed a blanket on the grass and gestured for Taehyung to sit on it.

"If you get cold, tell me. I have another blanket in the car for us," Jungkook said, giving Taehyung his food and taking out his food, starting to eat.

"Are you going to answer my question, I asked in the car?" Taehyung asked.

"Which one?" Jungkook questioned, still eating his burger.

"You could answer both," Taehyung answered.

"I could teach you to defend yourself, but I don't know why you want to all of a sudden," Jungkook stated, not liking the idea that much.

"I wanted to go here for our date because this park means a lot to us. We got to know each other here, went here when we didn't want to be home, felt that we could be ourselves with just us here...," Jungkook softly said, putting down the burger and looking at the sunset. "This park is where I fell in love with you," Jungkook whispered, turning his head to look into Taehyung's teary eyes. "I love you so much. I fell in love with you when I first saw you at school. I can't express how much I love you and only you, Taehyung," Jungkook whispered, wiping a tear-off of Taehyung's cheek.

"I love you too," Taehyung cried out, hugging Jungkook, who rubbed his back, giving him comfort.

"I know I already asked you, but will you be my boyfriend?" Jungkook asked when Taehyung calmed down.

"Yes, dummy," Taehyung sniffled.

"I love you," Jungkook said, kissing Taehyung's cheek.

"I love you too," Taehyung said back, giving back a wide smile.
