1 Chapter 1: Fall of Glorious Tenna

The car that departed that night relying on darkness was perhaps the most important figure in the world. The nine princes and a magician in the car would soon face a powerful enemy than they had ever seen before. They were raided shortly after their departure.

The raider was wearing a broken mask that resembles a fox. He was capable of defeating every rival. With one hand gesture, the car was torn to pieces. As a result, the nine princes and the magician Tenna had to fight in that open place where there was no place to hide.

"I will protect you no matter what, my lords. Don't leave each other!" said Tenna.

"My father said, 'You will fight your greatest battle not to protect someone else's life, but to save yourself.' That's the day." said Prince Bafer.

"On behalf of our country and our abducted brothers, we will defeat this enemy!" Prince Zerih was ready to fight.

Tenna was trying to hold them together. "My princes, no. Listen to me, stay together!"

"To bring down the sword of our justice to this murderer. Attack!" shouted Prince Nardon and started to run.

"My lords, stop! You can't resist magic like this! We have to stay together. We should find a way to escape without a fight."

Prince Kaliher was so sure about himsel. "Running away?" he asked. "With the enemy on our feet, we can't take the opportunity to avenge the Nine Kingdoms."

None of them listened to Tenna. The fire of vengeance that embraced their hearts predominated logic. They all started to attack randomly.

Tenna was the only one who could respond properly to the masked man who stormed out even with his finger snapping. She alone had to protect nine princes. As the princes attacked the masked man, he swung back and crashed violently to the ground. None of them had power to resist anymore.

The man with the broken mask went to Zerih, one of the princes lying on the ground. He took his broken sword and threw it aside, bending it easily with his hand. Then he press his foot on the prince's right arm.

"Look at this..." said the evil man. "Prince Zerih, who a great kingdom will bow before him with respect, now lies in front of me."

"Even if we can't avenge our brothers, one day our fathers will. No kingdom will surrender to a traitor like you."

The man didn't care what the prince said. He turned to Tenna, who was running towards him at the time, and said his words, declaring his sovereignty.

"You can't save them all, wizard. Either you save yourself or you save them. Wizards think they can reach the impossible. Is that why they chose you for such a mission?"

"My job is to protect!" shouted Tenna. Even if I have lost some people, I have to protect the rest.

Tenna failed to hide the fear in her heart. The masked person have also noticed this fear.

"Really? Let's see who's left."

He spat on Prince Zerih's face, who could barely keep his eyes open. He pulled his foot from his arm and began to press on his head. He held his right hand open until a dark energy formed in his palm. He threw the energy to the prince without allowing Tenna to make a move. The prince died after screaming in pain.

Tenna tried to respond to the villain with the blue flame balls she threw from her wand. But the man closed his eyes and fought off the attack with a shield he created around him.

"There are eight princes left."

At that time, one of the princes approached the evil man from behind. He jumped with all his power and raised his sword. He realized he was hanging in the air just as he was about to bring his sword down to the man's head. He could not move.

Tenna realized the danger and tried to catch the prince, who remained in the air with magic. But the enemy seemed perfectly comfortable.

"The prince you thought you rescued is already dead. Look, I'll show you."

He raised his left hand and clenched his fist. The prince in the air screamed as if his head was being crushed with stone and fell to the floor, gave his last breath.

"I will destroy you!" shouted Tenna. "When I catch you, I will give your flesh to dragons, and your bones to hyenas! I will make you die like that."

"Even when you're choiceless, you challenge me, magician. I'm gonna make you pay for this attitude!"

Tenna was furious. She held up her wand and threw light arrows at him, but none of it hit him. The masked man made a copy of the three princes running towards him. Copies of the princes began to fight their originals.

Two of the remaining four princes could approach the masked. Someone even managed to injure his arm with a violent sword blow. However, when the wound healed within seconds, the two princes stunned and dropped their swords. Tenna immediately moved ahead of the two princes.

She held up her wand and began to twist it with both hands. The small storm formed by the rotation of the wand became a wall around them. The masked man tried to break through the wall, but could not stop the storm.

"They didn't call you Glorious Tenna for nothing. You're really good. But you're inadequate."

He suddenly disappeared and appeared behind two princes. Tenna was trying to keep the storm wall steady. The masked man blew his strong breath into the storm. After a while the storm turned into ice. Tenna could no longer turn her wand. When he shattered the ice block, Tenna stopped rhe storm magic and tried to protect the princes. However, the princes had already died with sharp pieces of earth piercing their breasts. The only thing the wizard could do was screaming after the dead princes. She made a move to go to the princes who fought their copies. The masked man was playing with the earth to slow down Tenna. Sometimes it caused tremors in the intensity of earthquakes, and sometimes raised the place where Tenna would step. When Tenna reached the princes who fought their copies, she saw the lifeless bodies of all three on the ground. The copies killed their true forms.

There were two princes left. To protect them, Tenna decided to follow a path similar to the masked man. Two small balls of light coming out of her wand touched the princes and six copies of both appeared. The goal was to confuse the masked and make him miss the real ones. Tenna swung her wand to the ground to fly and landed next to the princes' real forms. At that time the copies were blocking the man with the broken mask.

Unfortunately, such a trick wasn't enough to prevent the powerful enemy. The man took a deep breath and a few seconds later he blew the copies. The copies were cut into pieces like dust pieces and disappeared.

The masked man suddenly appeared in front of Tenna and swung her back with a firm fist. He raised two princes to the air and took one on the right and the other on the left. He opened the distance between them. In the middle of it, he placed a dark sphere that constantly collected energy.

"Let's see what you can do, magician. You only have time to save one of the princes. One will live, the other will die. You survived fighting me so long. At least you deserve to choose that."

"Can I really save both of them with all these losses? Even if I return, they will send me to the gallows for failing this mission. I've already lost my life. At least I'll make the rest alive." thought Tenna.

The man in the mask just laughed. He seemed to have a plan for every occasion. For Tenna, it was an important turning point. On the one hand was Prince Nardon, famous for his ability to domesticate dragons, and on the other, Prince Kaliher, who was known to be able to heal all wounds with his superior healing power.

Tenna had to make a quick choice. He didn't even have time to question why. He started running towards Prince Nardon, who was hanging in the air on the left. She was going to save him. She was trying not to look at the prince she had left to die while running. A moment of blunder could have lost them both.

When she came near the princ, she used her wand as a sword to cut off the energy from the dark sphere to the prince. She held down the prince with an easy spell. She then immediately started to run to the other prince but she was late.

After wizard's choice, the masked man sent the dark sphere to Prince Kaliher. As soon as the sphere touched the prince, his body began to burn. The poor prince died in agony. But that was not enough for the enemy. Suddenly he appeared behind Tenna. He grasped Prince Nardon and knocked him down.

"I promised the prince you chose to live, sorcerer. I didn't promise to give it to you. The prince will live but with me!" said the masked man.

The masked man's laughter was heard in a disturbing echo again. He disappeared with the prince he was holding. On the battlefield, the remains of the eight princes, a smashed car, and a failed wizard were left. Tenna barely tried to walk, using her wand as a walking stick. She collapsed when she realized she couldn't continue walking. She started crying. Tenna, the most famous wizard of the Nine Kingdoms, once was honored with the title "Glorious" failed the mission.
