CHAPTER 19: KIDNAPPED!

Allison's POV: 

I couldn't blink my eyes as Jacob Hayes stepped out of that middle SUV, following the smoke that was escaping his mouth after he inhaled deeply from it and looked up at me. I finally quivered, my breaths shallow and I could feel my whole body getting cold in fear. As he kept looking at me, my mind couldn't process anything then. I wanted to gather everyone in the building. I wanted to scream Amanda's name. I wanted to run back inside my building and call 911. I wanted to do so much. I could have done so much but instead, I stood there, frozen in place, without uttering a word. My limbs were paralyzed, after looking at Jacob Hayes in front of me.
