21 Chapter 18: Hohoho, The School Arc Begins

Sivreth pov:

I was utterly exhausted, I even had to use a simplified, rearranged version of the [Slow Time] shout so that I would be able to use it without making my vocal cords explode.

[Slow Time] or more specifically its first Word of Power is TIID (Time), if I had used it the original way, I would quite literally be using the Shout to effect the world around me, it does not distinguish between your targets.

Nirn is a 16 Dimensional Body that contains Infinite Timelines, Shadows, Realities and Infinite Immeasurable Spatial Distance between itself and the Sun, and the Dovahkiin casually fired an arrow from Auriel's Bow across said distance at the sun, and Miraak is equally as strong!!!

Imagine trying to use [Slow Time] to stop Infinite Timelines for a few moments, hahaha, you're funny if you think that is possible.

I was already stretching it thin by doing it for a limited area.

If I could travel to my previous life with the power I have now, I could easily destroy my past life's universe because of the principles and laws the TES Universe follows, along with its cosmology being busted to all Hell.

Altough, it was impossible for me to use the full power of a Shout, at least for now. I would need to be as powerful as a Dragon or Dragon Priest if I wanted to use it the original way.

Instead my altered version of the Shout would only effect the surrounding area which is manageable for me at present.

Taking out a minor stamina potion I had with me, I swallowed its contents causing my fatigue to fade.

I turned to the girl, whom if I'm not mistaken by her friends cries, is called Na'shi.

She had an interesting appearance but I won't know for certain.

I knocked out her friends while [Slow Time] was previously active so they wouldn't cause me any problems for the time being.

Picking up the dagger of my first Thalmor kill of the day, I slowly made a cut on her hand and cut off some of her Khajiit-like hair.

Taking the hair, I summoned my Grimoire and opened it to a blank page. I placed the hair onto the page and it merged with the paper. Taking the girl's hand I did the same and a drop of blood fell from the wound onto the page.

A grin found its way onto my face as I looked down at the now filled pages that had absorbed the information it obtained and structured it into written text that can be understood.

New Discovery - Found by Prime Timeline Sivreth Aival Erdys Lyr El Aur-I-El

Name: Na'shi

Race: Khajiit (Mane)

Title: 3rd Mane of Elsweyr (Current Age), 1st Mane (Current Generation), Last remaining Mane of Elsweyr

Home: N/A

Region of Resistance: Torval (Southern Elsweyr)

Estimated Level analysis: Level 17

*********

Now that's interesting...

3rd Mane?

So there must be a 2nd one somewhere, the 1st obviously being the Mane that was assassinated.

A special thing about the Mane hierarchy system is that only the 1st Mane that is born can be the main one and the Ruler of Elsweyr.

All others that are also born under an Eclipse would have to pay reverence and respect to that 1st Mane.

Even if the 1st Mane dies, all the others cannot take his position as the Ruler of Elsweyr.

Although in recent times a Mane had implemented the system of having a government such as the Clanmothers rule Elsweyr instead.

But Na'shi also has another title of being the "1st Mane", doesn't that mean she is the newest and youngest Mane in the present day.

The last Mane died over a 2 decades ago at least, so Na'shi being born after the assassinated Mane's time of death would mean that she both legally and rightfully is eligible to be the current true Ruler of Elsweyr.

I really hit the Jackpot in this didn't I, but first...

"Hey, Sheogorath. Are there any more of her racial type, a Mane, that exists in the present day?" I turned around to ask him from the wardrobe I left him in.

"Hmmmh!!!" A muffled cat blurted out incoherent sounds.

Oh yeah! I forgot! I gagged and tied him up so he wouldn't expose my hiding place.

My bad....

:P

Na'shi pov:

Arghhh!

My head hurts!

???

But my body doesn't anymore?

But wasn't I-

Oh no!

I straightened my back and sat up ro observe my surroundings.

I was in a nice clean room, I definitely wasn't at home anymore.

I looked around to see where I was exactly and if I could find my friends, those High Elves had taken them hostage.

But...

That White Elf, I remember him clearly, he killed the one that tried to cut my ears off.

A strange smell made my nose twitch, I sniffed to get a better sense on what it could be.

Following the smell I turned around and jumped in fright as someone was standing right there.

'When did he get here?! I didn't even hear him!'

"Oh, you. You're finally awake."

'Why's he got a grin on his face like he said something funny?'

"What's going on? Where am I? What happened to my friends?!" I shot one question after another with obvious worry and panic in my voice.

He raised both his hands, reacting I leapt backwards out of instinctual fear at the sight of a stranger using magic.

Two cups made of Ice appeared in his hands, he outstretched one to me to have. I didn't decline his offer but was still warry of everything until I was certain nothing is wrong.

"In the order of your questions I'll answer. I had defeated the Thalmor that took you and your friends hostage. I brought you here as you were unconscious, we're in a safe place, rest assured. You're friends are fine, I have discussed everything with them. They are currently out getting some food from the market."

"How long was I unconscious?"

"Before that, I should tell that I had used a spell to keep you asleep for a longer period since your unique heritage had caused some problems within your body."

"What kind of problems?!" Frightened by what could have happened I had screamed at him.

"For starters, unrelated to hour body, one of your trio of friends, the one who betrayed you all, was actually being mind controlled by the Thalmor. Second, a recent occurance with the Moons had a greater effect on you than it should have. It was mostly an unforseen circumstance since "no-one" was aware of your particular race's existence. As a result, since you were born on a Eclipse you had a minor backlash from the emergence of the 4th Moon you have no doubt seen already. Although, I have rectified that for you."

"U-uh, I...t-thank you...y-you haven't told me what was wrong with me though?" I stuttered over my words as my mind was still trying to process everything he had told me, which I didn't fully understand.

"Do not worry, it doesn't matter anymore, it's in the past. Now then, we should discuss your future..." He said as he took a seat on a chair in the corner of the room.

He gestured for me to sit down opposite him, while at the same time, he used magic of some kind to move another chair through the air from the other side of the room to be opposite to him.

I didn't decline as he could have done anything to me by now if he had wanted to, I sat on the chair and was nervous.

"What do you mean by 'your future'?"

The cup of ice vanished from his grasp, only now did i notice the identical cup which I still held wasn't particularly cold but it was still uncomfortable, he overlapped his fingers with one another as he spoke.

"Hmmm, the Thalmor will actively pursue you from now on, we'll they already were. You will not be safe here in Elsweyr since they know of your existence and your identity. It seemed that the captain had sent a message back to the Alinor (Summerset Isles) to one of the higher ups I am all too familiar with. Your life here is over, you would need to leave for your own safety, your friends would need to do the same too. They were also mentioned in the captain's report in order to use them as a way to force your cooperation. Additionally, they didn't know which one amongst you all were the one they were looking for so that's another problem for all of you."

"W-why are they looking for me? How do you know it was me they were after?"

"It seems you don't know much about the history of Elsweyr's government. Those born under the 3rd Moon, which only occurs when Masser and Secunda, or as you know them - Jode and Jone, are full and overlap with one another. This causes an Eclipse and any Khajiit born under the Eclipse at this time will be born as Manes. A special branch of Khajiit that possess far greater physicality than all other Khajiits. For this reason they are worshiped and revealed as the chosen of Alkosh and would be the defacto rulers of Elsweyr as well as it's Champion. A sort of Messiah if you will. There is a system put in place should more than one Mane is born but the explanation is unnecessary right now. The last Mane of Elsweyr was assassinated by the Thalmor in secret, not long after they overthrew their own leadership and royalty of the Summerset Isles for opposing their ideology, in order to destabilise the leadership of Elsweyr allowing for them to more easily join the Aldermeri Dominion."

"Okay, but you still haven't explained why they were after me, what has any o-"

I paused what I was saying as I remembered his previous words, I was born under a "Eclipse".

!

"You realised it haven't you."

"I'm a Mane?!"

"Yes, though only Male Manes can become rulers of Elsweyr. However, there was a Prophecy saying how you would help the "Snow Prince" to overthrew the rulers of Elsweyr and take control of the nation. What they failed to realise is that they were the real rulers of Elsweyr since they had complete control over the Moons and as such over all Khajiit. But that Prophecy has partially come true already. I had convinced the Clanmothers to pretend to remain allies of the Aldermeri Dominion."

"I...what happens now?"

" I understand that all this is alot to take in, especially with how it has ruined your life, but a life as an Orphan barely able to live on to the next day on scraps is not appealing to you or your friends. So I would like to offer you all a proposal. You all can come with me and I will shelter and protect you from the Thalmor whilst still allowing you all to have the freedom to do as you please without fear of the Aldermeri Dominion coming after you anytime soon. The others have already decided that whatever you choose they will follow along with that decision."

I was in disbelief that he was going so far to help me when we just met. If he knew this much already then helping me is natural since he clearly despises the Thalmor and helping me is the best way to spite them.

But why would my friends leave their fate up to me, this is what they always wanted, what if I had declined, they would be throwing this chance of a lifetime away just to remain with me.

I was touched that they would stick by me through whatever I decided.

"I-I...I need time to think."

"Of course. You can have up to approximately 2 months, that is when I intend to leave Elsweyr and return to my base of operations in Cyrodil."

He stood up to leave and that was when I realised that we never introduced ourselves!

"Wait! I never asked you what your name was, I'm Na'shi."

He turned to face me from the door and gave a slight bow.

"My name is Sivreth Aival Erdys Lyr El Aur-I-El, pleasure to have made your acquaintance Na'shi."

I blushed a little at the overdramatic display he was putting on just for an introduction.

He straightened himself and opened the door to leave when suddenly from outside a blur came speeding into the room.

"Meowww!!!" An aggressive high pitched sound of a Alfiq was heard before Sivreth's scream resounded in the room right after.

"HOW DARE YOU!!! I'VE BEEN LOCKED IN A DRESSER FOR FOUR HOURS!!!" The Alfiq roared as it clawed at Sivreth's once smooth and beautiful snow white skin.

"Get off me Sheogorath! I can't trust you to be alone or you'd go causing chaos everywhere we go! You can do it once we go our seperate ways!"

I raised my voice to get their attention as I grew curious.

"Umm, what is your relationship with him, is he your pet?"

"I'm a cat! Not a pet! I thought that bit was obvious. Unless I'm not a cat. Meow? Meow. Nope, cat. Maybe I'm a bit high on Skooma right now, or Moon Sugar, Sugarr? Suuugar? Suggar? Sugah? No that's not right." The Alfiq responded.

"Uh, Na'shi I don't know how to tell you this, but he is Sheogorath the Daedric Prince of Madness, or more commonly known to your people as one of your Gods, the Skooma Cat."

*Thud*

"Oh great, she fainted! You've gone and done it haven't ya."

"Shut up! This is your fault for not staying in the dresser! Go play with some yarn or something!"

That was all I heard before my consciousness faded and my vision went black.

'This must be a really bad dream.'

4E 193 - 6 months later

Sivreth pov:

It had been 1 whole year since I had first left the Imperial City to go to Elsweyr.

At the beginning it had taken 3 months to travel to Elsweyr but that also took the time I had been preparing for the 4th Moon plan

Ta'agra is the language spoken by the Khajiit of Elsweyr. Although many natives of Elsweyr can speak Tamrielic which they most often do nowadays.

Interesting fact, the Clanmothers had publicly announced the name for the 4th Moon.

They called it "Ja'fith Kha'jay" which means "Warm Moon".

They explained how they called it "Warm" it actually means "Bright" and the color "White" is a "Bright" color opposite to "Dark".

So technically the name of the 4th Moon literally translates into "Pale Moon" or "Snow Moon" in honor of me.

The abridged name of it is called "Ja'kha" which spread like wildfire all across the continent.

The Thalmor didn't like it how they were not fast enough to take credit for the 4th Moon nor were able to give the 4th Moon their own name to cement their Authority, Power, Superiority and Pride.

Suck it you Assholes!!!

I will always win!!!

2 months and a half after the meeting with the Clanmothers I received 22 Khajiit Spies who venerated me like some kind of Khajiit version of the Hero Deity Talos.

After that Sheogorath wanted to get revenge on me so he teleported me from Elsweyr all the way back to Cyrodil and dumped me in a large lake of Slaughterfish!

The fucker thought I wouldn't harvest them since he had made sure they were all Golden Slaughterfish!

A single scale from a Golden Slaughterfish sells for hundreds of septims! And they are a practically extinct species!

I'm rich! Hahahaha!

Thanks Sheo you Skooma addicted feline!

The remaining 6 and a half months

I'm currently 11 years old as my birthday was within recent months.

Elika and Cirilla had dragged me along with them to celebrate my birthday even though I didn't care to.

I'd rather spend that time on magical experiments and trying to learn how to use the Thu'um to its proper and fullest extent.

Na'shi didn't like it that she was left out so she came along. Fortunately, the Thalmor don't know what the "chosen one" in the Khajiit Prophecy looked like so she was able to walk freely. They still think she is in Torval and never knew I was responsible.

Plus, the one that the Thalmor captain sent a message to was fucking Elenwen! Fantastic! She can go prove her so called Elven "Superiority" in bed with Ulfric in the future.

Last topic to mention was that I had been forced to join the Magic Academy by the joint efforts of Elika and Cirilla.

Why is Cirilla so adamant that I go to school, I literally don't need it since I have my Grimoire with me. Although, the Magic Vault that contains all sorts of knowledge and treasures lie in the Mage's Guild which is apart of the Magic Academy.

Speaking of which, the magical thesis and knowledge I, Cirilla and Elika displayed was enough to boost us, especially me, a few years ahead of the others.

Cirilla is a complete mystery, my spies can't gain any info on her, no info regarding family yet she has deep ties to Nobility, enough to force the Magic Academy to accept me despite their protests.

Was able to use a multitude of insanely rare materials and ingredients which the school provided her with so she could secretly make a Talisman for me that would conceal my Falmer appearance.

The Talisman was so potent that I suspect only somebody on par with an Arch-Mage, Vyrthur, Gelebor and Savos Aren would be able to see through it.

Saves Aren is not as weak as people may think, there is a reason why he was the sole survivor of his group's expedition to Labyrinthine.

He had been able to imprison Morokai, someone who has the Staff of Magnus and is a freaking Dragon Priest.

Cirilla also knew just as much as I did and has a insane amount of Magicka, and I've got no idea where she got such knowledge.

There are only three conclusions, maybe four, I made of her.

One, she is the Last Dragonborn but I doubt it since she's a Breton. While the chance that I or someone else could be the Dovahkiin is possible, it is more than likely to be someone with Nordic heritage.

Two, she is protected and blessed by a God, whether it was Azura, another Daedric Prince or one of the Nine Divines, I do not know.

Three, she is just someone with a powerful background. Alot of reasons back this up but I suspect the second idea.

It was not a major concern for me right now so I pushed all these thoughts to the back of my mind as I refocused on the current task I was dealing with.

...

"Siv! Siv! Are you listening to me? Where did you put the kinetic resonator prototypes?" The ever cheerful voice of Elika called out from across the room while rumaging through some draws of the laboratory we were in.

(A/n Kinetic Resonators are actual Dwemer inventions. They are specifically mentioned and described in Katriah's questline for the Aetherium pieces quest "Lost to the Ages".)

"Did you check the cabinet?" I said not battering her an eye while working on a large machine in the centre of the room with Cirilla next to me.

"Yes!"

"Did you check the one on the top shelf?"

"YES!"

"The shelf with a Dwemer cog in front of the Cabinet door which has the name 'prototype' on it?" I said in an exasperated tone.

"YE-uhhhh"

"Then I suggest you start working on it, no?"

And just like that I heard the sound of rapid footsteps and then the sound of a door opening and closing.

As I thought.

"Sivreth, could you please give the Resonator Gems." Cirilla requested in a gentle and polite voice, as she tinkered away next to me on a different section of the large device we were working on.

I grabbed the gems beside me and handed it to her, quickly returning to my own work.

"Why do you need so many Resonators? The Dwemer where the only ones capable of using the magic required to utilise them to its fullest?" She said noticing I was far to engrossed in my work.

"The magic may be lost but it can still be used in a multitude of ways. I told you before, this is a Magus Sensor, meant to discover items or locations of dense or high levels of Magicka, effectively finding Artifacts of all kinds like those belonging to Daedra, Aedra or even the Dragons. One day if it is perfected, it could even find more Elder Scrolls. The Resonator Gems activates once it is subjected to a Tonal frequency through the production of sound. Hitting the gems is the most effective way to create a sound adequate enough to match the gems frequency. So in the end I don't need to have the Tonal Manipulation the Dwemer were capable of using to use these gems." I explained to Cirilla.

She is remarkable, intelligent and almost frightening in her understand of anything I've told her.

The Magus Sensor is basically a unique name to call it a Magic Sensor. During the Mage's Guild Quest in Skyrim, the player must locate the Staff of Magnus, the player would encounter a mage from the Imperial City who traveled to a Dwemer Ruin which the player assists and the device within was activated through magical means of Fire and Frost.

Once done, the device would show the location of the Eye of Magnus at the Collage of Winterhold as well as the location of the Staff of Magnus, which resides deep within Labyrinthine in the possession of the imprisoned Dragon Priest Morokai.

The Magus Sensor was already capable of being a usable device, but it is still an imitation. I want to perfect it using the Mage's Guild and the Magic Academy's funds while I still can. I would ensure that only I can use the hidden features of the device so that only I can use it to find such powerful Artifacts.

One of which is the Infamous trio of artifacts, the Tools of Kagranac.

Second is the Elder Scrolls.

Thrird is the Mask of Alkosh or the material which the Mask of Alkosh and the Wooden Mask were made from.

Fourth is the Heart of Lorkhan

Anything after that is not as important as knowing the location of these Godly Treasures.

I am brought out of my thoughts when I heard Cirilla's gentle voice yet again.

"I see. You really are incredible, a prodigy unlike any other. Your parents must be proud."

"I wouldn't know, my mother's dead and my father was never there for me despite the difficulty she had to go through to raise me. She never spoke of him so she must have resented him for it as well."

"I-I didn't mea-" She tried to speak but was cutting off by the clueless dunce Elika.

"Hey! Siv! I didn't tell you what the teachers told us yet did I?"

Stopping the work I was doing, I turned to face her, she looked down and wanted to apologise, she never thought her words would bring out such a response out of me.

I think I was to harsh in how I acted, I should have lied so withhold me true thoughts.

I was never a roundabout type of person but was always quite direct, I didn't really care about it but the way I phraseed it may seem like I was angry at her for bringing it up.

I'll apologise later saying it didn't matter.

"What is it Elika?"

"The teachers said that they are taking us on a trip to an Aylied Ruin, you know, the one this senor of yours helped them find."

"And they would let you and your class go, despite all the students being 13 years old. An Aylied Ruin can be very dangerous." I said out of concern and caution for her, this idiot doesn't even know how many people die in those Ruins. Especially since Umbra could be in one of them.

"Don't worry, they said it would be safe. Many Masters will be coming as well. It would be some kind of test for us like the Battlespire. Besides, I'm just 2 years away from adulthood, you still look like a kid and your 11!"

The Battlespire huh, it used to serve as a test for young mages in the past but it had been destroyed long ago.

And adulthood, I forget they turn adults at 15. Well, their body will be that off a young adult at 15 but by 17 they'll be a proper one.

As for me, despite me being 11 years old in this body, I am considered a Teenager.

By my Past Life standards on Earth, a 11 year old would look like a 15 year old, while a 15 year old would be a 18 or 19 year old on Nirn.

The body and maturity of people mature 3 to 4 years faster on Nirn than Earth.

I should look like I'm 14, but my Elf blood makes me look like I'm 12. Once my body appears 17, by which time I would also be 15 years old. Thats when it would take decades for me to change in appearance, or so my Grimoire had notes on.

"Fine, if you feel that you will be safe of this trip, then I won't argue."

"Who said I needed your approval to go! Humph!"

Tsundre confirmed.

As for my Magus Sensor, before I had announced this to the Mage's Guild and the Academy, I had ensured to test the prospective in my personal laboratory which I altered to remove locations like the Forgotten Vale and certain artifacts of notable power from the Magus Sensor's ability to find such as Auriel's Bow or Auriel's Shield.

I won't allow the at Thalmor or anyone to find the Chantry of Auriel, at least not yet...

I turned around to look behind me to grab a tool and noticed a slight smile of Cirilla's face as she continued her work, no doubt finding amusement in our antics.

*creak*

We all turned to the door as it was opened by someone who refused to announce themselves first.

My eyes widen in shock, horror and rage as I saw who it was and knew something bad was going to happen.

Ancano...

FUCKING THALMOR SCUM!!!

WHAT IS HE DOUNG HERE?!?!
