Feeling the floor shaking beneath my feet, I stared out my window in disbelief as thousands upon thousands of dragons and a myriad of other creatures began to appear from portals in the sky and on the ground. Clenching my fist in excitement and a bit of fear, I laugh as I open my closet revealing my secret stash. Full plate steel armor and a shield, a steel longsword and a bow with a quiver of 24 arrows. It's like being a fantasy otaku paid off after all! Ahahaha! Right, there's no time for that. Let's go slay some beasties!

After donning my gear, I hurry outside, and encounter my first cliche. A group of goblins were currently surrounding a single young woman in her 20's on the ground. Pitching tents and laughing evily, they grabbed their wooden sticks and rusty daggers and prepared to violate this woman. However, am I going to allow this? Hell no!

"Fus.. Ro.. Da!!" With a mighty inhalation of air, and releasing a sonic boom, I shouted these three words of power and watched as the four goblins flew into the side of a parked Escalade becoming meat paste. At the same time I heard multiple dings go off in my head and ignored them for now. Removing my plate helmet and wiping the sweat off of my face with my bare hand after removing my gauntlet, I kneeled before the woman and said, "Everything will be okay now. Hurry home and barricade your windows and doors. I must go now." Standing up and walking away like a total badass, I heard the woman whisper behind me. "No way, a peerless hotty in shining armor just rescued me from goblins? Am I dreaming? No this is too weird to be a dream. I'd better hurry home."

And so the woman hurried into the house with the black Escalade parked outside. Smiling in relief that she listened to me, I continued walking as my look grew serious and I heard the tortured screams of countless people around me. Damn... I can't save everyone, but I will kill as many of these bastards as possible!
