8 Part Seven: The Note?

Sky was thinking about the note, who wrote it, and what secret spot. She could only remember a secret spot that she shares with someone that was like a sibling to them. Sky got up and went to walk around her village.

A few hours later. Sky was still walking and looking around for the secret that she shares with the someone. She found the spot and went to it. As she was walking to the spot, she heard someone walking behind her. Sky put her hand on her hilt of her dagger. She wanted to look back to see who it was, but she knows not to look behind her.

"Who's there?" She called out.

There was no reply.

"Who's there? Answer me, you fool!!"

Still no reply, but she could hear laughing.

'I know that laugh, but they're in a different village,' Sky thought, "Jacob?" She called out.

"You finally remember my name. Took you long enough, Sky," he said.

"I know. I'm sorry. I thought you were banished from here," she said.

"I am. No one knows that I'm here besides you..."

"JACOB!! You know what would happen if someone were to spot you..."

"Yes, I know. That's why I put the note in your secret spot to tell you to come to our secret spot," he said as he walked closer to her.

"Ok," she said as she moved her hand off her hilt of her dagger.

Jacob hugged her and she hugged back.

They sat down on the ground, talking for hours and hours. They, of course, made sure to watch. Sky was the first to yawn.

"Sleepy, Sky?"

Sky shook her head as she yawned again.

"Mhm, sure. You can fall asleep and I'll keep watch."

"No."

"No?"

"You heard what I said," Sky said as she got up to stretch.

"Ok," he said as he chuckled.

Sky stretched. Jacob poked her.

"Why?" she asked as she looked down at him.

"Because I wanted to."

"Sure," Sky said, "we should probably get going somewhere so we're not in the dark."

"Yeah, but where?"

"A base that I have."

"A base? What type of base?"

"Umm....a secret base that you can't tell anyone about."

"Ok. I won't tell anyone."

"Good. Now, let's get going," Sky said as she started walking towards the base.

They get to the base. Sky was hoping that no one was there to yell at her for bringing someone to the base.
