Sky's POV...

7:30AM, Los Angeles...

Running as if I am in a race, I thought I could put some workout while heading to the headquarters today. Living a secret agent life means I have to make the best of time while I'm not undercover. Running in my jogging pants and tank top, my hair is tied in a ponytail while flying with the breeze as I run. I did woke up earlier today, so I'm not afraid of being late.

I'm Skylar Jane Hasting, but most people address me as Sky. I'm 27 years old, and I'm a secret agent at SOS (Society Of Spies), one of the biggest spy agency in the country, based in Los Angeles. So at this point, you're probably wondering how on earth did I ever became a secret agent? Well friends, let me tell you a little story of myself.

I was born in New York City as the eldest child of two daughters. My dad owns a book store not far from my home, while my mother is a housewife. I have a younger sister named Evangeline Rose Hasting, but most people address her as Eve.

My sister and I are 3 years apart. Our parents have always loved us equally, but I always felt that Eve was always the better child than me. She got good grades in school and never got into any trouble, both at school, and home. Me? My grades were ok, but since I was more rebel than my sister, sometimes I got into some trouble at school. I remembered a time, I got detention because I got into a fight with a girl who bullied me since 7th grade.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not jealous of my sister. I'm happy that she's a good kid and that my parents really cared for her. But honestly, I often felt that I haven't been the best child for my parents, and that Eve is always better than me. The thought about me not being good enough for my parents disappointed me. I just wanted to proof to myself and my parents my worth.

When I was 17, I told my parents that I wanted to attend university in Los Angeles. I've always dreamed of going to the University of Southern California, and my parents helped me accomplished that dream. Back then, I stayed alone in a small apartment in Los Angeles. It wasn't much, well, compare to my apartment now, but it was enough.

I graduated with a degree in International Relationship. My family was so happy, and I guess I was myself. At the time, I didn't want to move back to New York just yet. One of the reasons I even came to Los Angeles in the first place, is because I also wanted to try out for a career in acting. When I was younger, I wanted to be an actress.

Luckily, at that time, there was an audition for a part in an upcoming teen movie. I audition, hoping that I could actually get in, which could be a great start for my career. Who knows? I thought I could even be the next Hollywood star. During the audition, I met Sarah Morgan, the best friend who changed my life.

I didn't get the part, but Sarah and I kept in touch. At the time, I didn't want to leave Los Angeles yet, since I wanted to live independent, and not be a burden to my parents. Also, I love it here in LA! So after that, I thought about applying for a job. That's when Sarah came in, and she actually gave me an offer.

After that, Sarah took me to meet her boss, which turned out to be her uncle, Jefferson Morgan. In my surprise, Sarah's uncle is the chairman/head spy of Society Of Spies. Sarah is one of the secret agents, along with the other spies, like my boyfriend, Dean Andrew.

At the time, SOS was running out of secret agents, since some of them were killed during a big mission a few months before. Sarah said she offered me the job because she thought I had potential. I was brave and fearless. At first, I actually hesitated, thinking about how my parents will react if they know. But on the other side, a part of me really wanted to do it, and that I know it's gonna help me learn a lot. I agreed with Sarah's offer, and went on training for 6 months.

I've been a secret agent for 5 years now, and let me tell you, I learned a lot! I went on crazy missions, catch some insane bad guys, and even investigate the hardest mysteries. Other than that, I found a family in SOS. Sarah and I became best friends, and Dean became my all time partner. We've been dating for 4 and a half years.

I eventually told my parents that I'm a secret agent, and that I'll be staying in LA. At first, they were surprised, and got a little worried about me. However, after comforting them from time to time, they actually accepted it. During that time, I went back and forth from Los Angeles to New York City, to comfort my parents and also, visit Eve.

So that's how I actually became a secret agent in LA. Ok, reality check! I have arrived at the SOS headquarters.

I enter the headquarters and greet the other agents. Sarah inform me to get change since we're going to be having a meeting in 30 minutes. Good thing, there's a bathroom in the headquarters, so I could actually take a shower after running here, before attending the meeting.

I finished my shower in 10 minutes. Jeff came in to the room and starts the meeting. He's going to talk about our next big mission. From what I heard from Sarah, it's gonna involve investigating a big mafia.

"So is anybody here familiar with Renee Jordan?" Says Jeff while sitting on his big chair. Sarah raise her hand to answer.

"As in, the ex-wife of Carson Peterson?" Sarah ask.

"Correct, and that Renee died 2 months ago." Jeff answers before taking a glass of water to drink. "Carson Peterson...I've been trying to figure this guy out for 7 years. These days women who are near him could lose their lifes." Jeff finish his sentence.

"What's the case, Mr Agent?" I raise my hand while addressing Jeff. Here, everyone calls him Mr Agent, except Sarah, who calls him Uncle Jeff.

"Running one of the biggest prostitution empires in the country, Carson's life has always been filled with women here and there. Lately it was known that some of his hookers were found dead in various ways. From what I suspicious, he's the mastermind behind the death of Renee and his past hookers, since he was always known to take mean actions if he doesn't get what he wants." Jeff states. "Not to mention, his first marriage also ended with the death of his ex wife, Katherine Walter. Yet, he was so good at covering up his guilt, everyone ended up thinking he was clean." Jeff continues. "That's gonna stop now! I have assigned your new mission!" Jeff finish his sentence.

"And when do we start, Mr Agent?" I ask Mr Jeff as I raise my hand.

"I actually want to have a private talk with you Sky, about this mission." Says Jeff, addressing to Sarah to end the meeting and leave the room, along with the other agents, leaving me and Jeff alone.

"What is it, Mr Agent?" I ask in confusion. I wonder what he wanted to talk about in private.

"It's about the mission." Says Jeff. He looks like he's trying to get some words out.

"What about it?" I ask him.

"I'm afraid it's gonna effect your relationship with Dean." Jeff says to me with pressure in his eyes. What is he trying to say?

"Sky, you do know that you and Sarah are the only female agents left, right?" Jeff ask me, in which I nod.

"Sarah's father, Tristan, is a double agent here at SOS. For years, he has been a secret agent, but he's also working as Carson Peterson's man-pimp for the past 5 years. His mission is to investigate how did Carson got those women dead, but so far, we could only find small clues." Jeff finish his sentence.

"And how will that affect my relationship with Dean?" I ask, still completely confuse. Jeff took a deep breath before finally saying something to me.

"Sky..for your next mission, you're going undercover..as a sex slave..." Says Jeff with a look that shows he's feeling bad.
