35. Conflict With Astra Part 3

Pridefully still against the pursuers, her hands akimbo, Lily unsheathed her wooden sword and challenges the cloaked men to a fight. Newt witnessed what Lily did in front of the raging fury of the Minotaur when she bravely faced the monster and managed to land a hit enough to shook the monster.

And now, Lily's willing to fight alongside Newt without fear from her words as she said: "Running from enemies isn't my forte! We, dwarves, face our enemies with the intent of winning!"

"These two kids don't know what predicament they are in." The pursuers burst into laughter. "You see this big guy? Of course, you would since he's really. This man is a huge child sex offender! He had molested, raped, and murdered countless numbers of girls!"

The said guy licked his lips terrifyingly. Shivers ran down Lily's spine as the thought of getting violated by the disgusting pig struck her.

"G-good thing I'm a boy," he said, sighing in relief.

"What are you sighing for?! Did you really think that we will get caught here?! Argh!"

Irritatedly, Lily smacked Newt with the hilt of her wooden sword— Newt scratched his head and exclaimed.

"Little boy, don't you worry," spoke the pig. He kept on licking his lips. "I can make exemptions, hihihi!" His laugh made him the creepiest human Newt had seen all his life.

"Ah, yamete!" Newt clutched onto his ass, scared that he'll get raped by a maniac. "Want me to kill you, huh?!" He said in his harshest and scariest tone, putting up a front to look tough in front of Lily. 'Who the hell would not get scared when it's your ass' virginity we're talking here!'

"Oh, Big Guy, he said he would kill you. Are you gonna let that slide?"

'These bastards, adding fuel to the fire!' Newt drew his sword, standing beside Lily, provoked Big Guy even more.

"I may not look like it but, I was taught how to use a sword by my father." Lily launched on her feet, swiftly dashing, with the wooden sword on both hands, tightly clutching, she plunged onto the swarm of men.

"Did he also told to jumped on a crowd of enemies?!"

"I like your resolve, little girl!" Big Guy tried to grab a hold of Lily. Rashly but accurately, she hit the pig's hands twice. The latter draws back his hands as he groaned over the pain.

"No one is touching me with their dirty hands!" Skilled or not, in the face of seven enemies, one tends to get hurt. Since there were two mages from the cloaked men, they needed to move back quite a bit to cast a skill and not hit the others.

"Lily!" Newt alerted the dwarf girl, for one of the cloaked men with a dagger, on one hand, moved on her blind spot. "Shit! You leave me no choice!" With his current speed, reaching Lily's attacker and fending him off would be impossible. However, if he thus wields the holy sword, the impossible will become possible.

"Cowards! Stop with your run and gun!" Agitatedly, Lily lost her cool when the two mages began firing magic spells at her. She would dodge the skills but, there would come another attack by the melee-type pursuers, where she could barely avoid their sharp weapons.

And now she's in a predicament where only Newt could turn the tables on the pursuers. A predicament where Lily's back was wide-open to the cloaked men's dagger. One stab can be fatal.

"Make sure you don't ruin her face, hihihi."

A gust of wind blew over them as Newt drew his Holy Sword upon them. The benefits of the sword were like that of a limit breaker, where one could use their hundred percent potential within a limited time. The goal of using the sword's power without facing the consequence of overfatigue has been a long dream of Newt.

The man with the dagger stabbed the air, clueless why his hands feel empty. He took a look at his hands. The dagger was gone and, only hands had connected to Lily's back.

"Huh? Where's my dagger?"

"I SAID DON'T TOUCH ME WITH YOUR FILTHY HANDS!"

The man went flying away as Lily struck him with his wooden sword on his face. Out cold.

"I feel alive using Hero Aegeus' sword, hah!" The aura enveloping Newt was different from before. Every time he uses the sword, his personality changed into that of a cool, gentlemanly man whom any girl can rely upon.

"Gant is out! Be careful of the kids! Oi, Big Guy, deal with the kids. We will support you from behind."

"Not gonna let you." Swiftly, Newt strode towards the two mages distancing themselves from the fight. Three more of the cloaked men jumped altogether against Lily. Little did they know that in mid-air, they would just make themselves an easy target waiting to get struck down.

Splendidly, she executed her movements without hesitating to attack and hit her enemies. A single full swing on the temple was enough for them to pass out. The agonizing scream of the two mages echoed to the city. People who could hear them covered their ears. That kind of thing became a common occurrence.

"How cruel of your friend, little girl. He killed my comrades, hihihi!" Big Guy felt no sympathy and remorse towards his dead comrades. As for the other four who passed out, he paid no mind to them. "Let me take care of your friend. That way, no one will get in our way. We will enjoy the night till we pass out!"

'No point in getting angry. I gotta keep my cool. Lily, don't lose focus.'

No matter how big and fatty Big Guy is, a crazy maniac, a child sex offender who likes to rape little girls, he is still an unskilled fighter and inexperienced when it comes to fighting.

After disposing of the two mages, Newt moved on to the other four cloaked men who passed out. Vile creatures who prey on children are nothing but trashes that need to be disposed of. People who exploit children and use them for their different needs are the worst piece of garbages at all.

"All of you must die." Silently, without having Lily notice what he will do, Newt struck the cloaked men's hearts and have them lie on their stomachs after that.

"Don't you dare meddle with my fight! You hear that, Newt?"

"Okay, okay," he replied shortly, lazily. "Just don't get raped by the stinky

pig." He added, laughing.

"I know that you won't let that happen if things go south."

"If you get raped, I will too, for I won't be able to remain in this state."
