11 11. Bliss

Newt continued on killing the alone spiders on Fritz's command. Having a skill like telepathy made it easier for the two of them to communicate with each other. They were able to split up because of it. It really helped them a lot.

"By creating fire out of their den, the spiders will scatter everywhere and, that's when Newt will come in. Hehe," he's unaware of the fact that he was making a sinister grin on his face. "Oh no, I can't stop myself from laughing, haha!"

"I can still hear you, Fritz. Are you really a kid?!" Newt said over the telepathy. He was chasing the spiders who were trying to rendezvous with the others and will try to use numbers against him. His skill runs out. And it was still cooling down. Though, the kid was persistent. He can't let the shitty spiders to grew in numbers against him.

"Three seconds! Ugh, damn! I didn't really want to use this holy sword!" 

He was saving it for the last. The holy sword takes a lot of MP from its wielder, so Newt seldom uses it. If he uses it now, he will need to wait for about an hour or so to regain his consumed MP.

"Haa... it's now or never." He unsheathed the holy sword. It shined through the rays of light that reflected its beautiful blade. It was well-crafted. Made by the legendary blacksmith of all time. The holy sword will give Newt what he seeks and what he wants. He wants power? The sword will give it to him in exchange for his MP. It will drain the shit out of him after using it. So, whilst in the process, he needs to make the most of it and take as many spiders as he can. What Newt gained was different from the skill he used. He gained power tripled by what his skill does. Newt's invincible when he is wielding the holy sword, making him overpowered.

"Fritz, I need coordinates!" Newt has full control of his exploding power. It was like he was drugged to its fullest. He could do anything he wanted.

"Okay, I can sense the sudden burst of power coming to your location. What happened?!"

"I'll explain it to you later when I am done here!"

"Okay fine..."

Fritz send the locations of all the remaining spiders near Newt. Even the farther ones that were deep within the forest.

"Got it! You can focus on your own problem now. I've got this covered!"

It was a mass slaughter. Both kids were merciless. They spared no one, and it was gory when they were killing the monsters.

"Damn! Newt's on fire. EXP kept on coming my way. Okay, just do continue what you are doing."

Forming a party with Newt really put Fritz in a sweet spot. It was really beneficial on Fritz's side. He was pumped up. He could feel his desire to slaughter spiders, too, surging through his whole body. He was aching. He changed into his bow and arrow. He poured a single drop of Wolf's blood and, the tip of the arrow lit.

"Ohhh, I didn't even need to light the blood. It lit the tip of the arrow as soon as it touches it."

He moved to a higher area. He climbed a tree and scanned the entrance of the spiders' nest. The mother's egg was just at the threshold of the entrance, just like what he always does. He cleared his lungs and placed the lit arrow to the bow. He relaxed his body and aimed for the 

large wool of web made by the mother spider.

[The bow's firepower and the arrow's speed will increase due to the addition of the wolf's blood. Also, the burning effect will last for a minute long.]

The arrow was fired from the bow. It was rapid. It flew directly to the den's entrance where the eggs lay. The fiery arrow landed onto the wool of the web. It began spreading the scorching fire throughout the whole large egg. The mother spider was alerted by the alarming sudden invasion of an enemy. She screeched at her kids, ordering them to find whoever did the terrible thing to her egg.

EXP just kept piling up and, the EXP meter was about to burst. EXP was still multiplying by two. Fritz couldn't hide his emotions. He could not stop himself from grinning more. Newt has no idea what was going on inside Fritz's mind. He could hear the latter laughing ominously thanks to his telepathy.

"There he goes again..." Newt's time limit was nearing its end. He's about to suffer extreme fatigue and will stay vulnerable for an entire hour. "Ack! 

Tch! I should hide somewhere safe." He felt like his entire body was about to explode. His blood was boiling and, he was about to collapse. Good thing he was lucky enough he found a cave that looked perfectly safe. 

"Fritz, I will leave everything to you. I will be resting here inside a cave for an hour. Don't worry about me. It's safe here."

"Okay. You can leave everything to me!" Fritz replied. He was currently swarmed by multiple numbers of spiders. He was still gaining movement speed because the small spiders that were inside the wool of the web were still burning and dying one by one at high speed.

Fritz kept on running around whilst he shot an arrow behind him. Spiders crawl faster even with his speed. "I've run out of arrows! And the fire has been extinguished! Wah! I'm in so much bind!" He had no use for the bow anymore, so he stored it back in his inventory and brought out his dagger. He stopped running away and turned around to face his enemies. 

"Just kidding." He put his tongue out and dashed through the swarm of spiders.

He jumped and stomped on the spiders from the other to the other. He was having an adrenaline rush, not because he was scared that he would die, but because he was having an outburst of excitement!

Unlike the bulls that he dealt with earlier, the spiders were slightly easy to fight. What made it hard for them to kill was their poison web.

"There's a gap between their last attack and the next one. I'll wait for it, and I'll attack at the right time."

Five seconds. That was the time he would be given after the first shot of the spider. But there were so many of them. It will be good if all of them spits their web at the same time.

"What if I hide behind a tree, wait for at least ten seconds, and suddenly reveal myself to them. Won't they shoot simultaneously? What a plan I have to think of!" Just like what he had thought of. He did hide behind the trees and waited ten seconds. He surprised them with a 'Boo!' and the spiders were taunted to shoot their poison web. He again hid behind the trees, utilizing them to dodge the web. "Now's the time!" The spiders were expecting the 'Boo' if Fritz came out. However, there was no Fritz. Then they saw him falling down from up above. He stuck his dagger to the spider's head. He landed down into it and almost crushed it to bits. He didn't stop. He connected his attack to the other. The spiders were like a free EXP, for they rained on him.
