19 Escape

"Itreo has already fallen, huh?" Christian asked in confirmation. Judging from the chain of events that happened, a typical plot where a kingdom was overruled should have at least one of its successor escaped and preparing for a comeback.

"Do you know anything about what happened to the remaining Royal Family?" Christian couldn't help but asked as Maria was definitely boarding the same carriage which Helena and her two other sibling was.

The girl who was chained and spread widely across the wall still answered and nodded despite its appearance. Her situation was just like the frog which was about to be dissected. Chained in an "X" position Christian truly pitied her and was just thinking of plans to escape.

Jade recalled hearing an information just before she was brought here and told Christian.

According to her or more precisely the guards who were tasked with escorting her here. Both the twins and Helena together with a demonic girl who should be Maria still on her transformed state was spotted at a road heading to the capital. But while traveling they were ambushed by a beastmen cavalry and by the time Garen arrived there upon hearing the news. They just saw his men's corpses with the Royal Family missing along with the demonic girl.

"Ah, I'm Christian by the way." Christian introduced himself as he stood up and patter the dust on his legs.

The girls seemed to hesitate for a moment before also giving her name. "I'm Jade, nice to meet you"

Christian nodded, "Nice to meet you too" after nearing on the bars he transformed into Luna and easily passed through the iron bars on his cell.

Jade was shocked to see Christian suddenly turn into a rabbit especially into a five-tailed one. It's not every day you get to see a five-tailed beast even more so for a person to transform into one. Don't forget that she also just saw Christian who turned from someone of the Lizard Tribe into a human. Who knows how will she react after knowing that he was no part of some Lizard Tribe but instead a Dragonkin.

Christian was also surprised at how Jade reacted. Well, even he would be surprised to see someone transform into 3 different races in one day. Nevermind the restrictions it was close to impossible for a human to have morphing abilities. What made Christian so surprised was how didn't Jade immediately ask for his help to free her even after seeing how easily he freed himself. Well, even if she didn't ask him to free her he would've still done so.

Entering Jade's cell, Christian in Luna form casted water jet to cut the chains connected to the cuffs which bound her wrists. But to no avail, the water jet didn't even seem to leave a mark on the chains.

Seeing Christian's attempts, Jade couldn't wait for the guards to come here to check for the noise so she told Christian to escape by himself as this cuffs were especially resistant to magic. Even the 4th tier might only scratch it.

But Christian wasn't someone to abandon someone easily. Unless there was a tide of cockroaches or something there ain't a thing that'll scare him. Trying one more method to free her Christian transformed into his Dragonoid form. 'If this doesn't work there's always the system to rely on!' he thought.

Feeling the immense strength coursing through his arms, he held onto both the chains on Jade's wrists putting him in an awkward position. It was a good thing the Christian's face was currently scaly because if it wasn't his face would've flared up.

As the chains broke, Jade also fell to his scale chest causing her two mounds to press on Christian putting them into an, even more, misleading position. If anybody was about to see them then they would've thought that they were just about to get right into the action.

After seeing Jade able to support herself already, he then proceeded to break off the chains on her ankle. While pulling the chains Christian managed to resist the temptation to look up as he was just right below her "holy grounds".

Despite her redden face Jade managed to squeeze out some words, "Thank you!"

Christian just smiled as he reverted back to his human form.

Christian waved his hands, "No need to thank me it was only natural"

Just then, sounds of footsteps coming from the guards who were alerted by the chains breaking came to inspect and unexpectedly saw the two.

"Capture them!" a man who looked like a mercenary ordered the men behind him.

But before he even managed to unsheath his sword, a stream of water penetrated his head and after passing through his head the other's head were also pierced through.

Naturally, the spell came from Christian who used a water jet to kill them. Even though Theo's water jet spell was only a third-tier spell and the guards were somewhere Class 7 and 6 warriors. Facing a spell head-on literally is a sure kill especially water jet which was known for its penetrating ability.

After freeing the other slaves and killing all that posed a threat to him. Christian also managed to get a good loot. Some guy over there actually had a void skill. Counting Luna he actually encountered 3 void ability users which were supposed to be 1 in a million. Sadly, he didn't manage to acquire the skill as he wasn't compatible with it so he just exchanged it for SCPs. Christian was also broke not only he had no cash or any sort. His SCP was also depleted. The SCPs he got from selling the Charm Dragon was actually used to preserve his life. So Christian was broke af.

"So Christian where are you heading to? You know that this kingdom is going to go through even more chaotic" Jade asked.

Christian already had a goal on his life ever since he was young. Find waifu(s) get a big house and fill it with children! Although it was ridiculous back on Earth, he may have the chance to do it here. And Maria happens to be his self-proclaimed waifus!

"I'm looking for someone until then I'll search wherever she might be!" Christian said seriously.

Jade happens to misunderstand something as she thought that he was going to look for the princess, Helena. So she just asked expectantly, "Are you looking for princess Helena?"

Christian went silent as wherever Helena be Maria must be with her so it could be considered that she was also looking for Helena.

Seeing Christian became silent this confirmed Helena suspicions, "She must be at the Wild Heart Kingdom!"

"What makes you say that?"

Seeing Christians expression, Helena couldn't help but feel bitter somewhere in her heart.
