15 Tranquility of Emotions
Alex was looking out the window, waiting for his parents to come pick him up. Yui was there playing around him. Minutes passed slowly. Eventually, hours had passed by. Yet, there were still no signs of anyone coming to pick him up.
On the horizon, he saw carriages and he thought that his parents were on their way to the old man's house.
When the carriages stopped in front of Old Man Han's house, many people in blue cultivator robes came out. They had swords hung on their waists and insignia's shaped like a phoenix. They looked indifferent. Alex watched them as they came to the door and knocked. The old man, Han Yun, came to the door and welcomed them in. The cultivators explained what had happened the day before. They took out a note and passed it to the elderly man in front of them. Old Man Han looked at the note silently and looked at Alex.
Alex had of course seen the note with his soul power.
The note said
-Han Yun,
We ask of you to please take care of our child until he has grown mature enough. If you have received this note, then something terrible has happened to us. If Alex wants to take revenge for us, then he has to grow strong. A key will be given to you to enter our house. In Alex's bedroom, their is a trapdoor mechanism that opens the floor. This is where you can find a safe. One will be for you as a thanks and the other is for Alex's cultivation. We wish you luck and ask of you to take care of Alex like you do with Little Yui. Tell Alex that we love him and always will.

When Alex read this, he felt a fire ignited in him.
'Who the hell messed with my parents!??"
'I'll kill them, castrate them, feed them to the dogs!!!' Alex's mind was in frenzy. He felt rage that he would rarely feel surging from within his body. Although he felt weird having parents, they still were the one who fed him, they were the ones that gave birth to him, their blood ran through his veins and they cared and loved him!

Alex didn't pay attention to his system and was about to release some killing intent.

Alex who was about to blow up from rage immediately returned to his usual calm state. Although he was still mad, he kept it in. It would not be a good idea to release some killing intent around cultivators. He turned his head to the system and saw the new feature he had unlocked.

it was already noon, so he was pretty tired. His rage had taken a lot of his mind power, so he fell asleep on the couch. Yui was looking at his face curiously while poking it. She eventually fell asleep on his arm.
