8 No Escape!?
Still enjoying his sleep in the carriage, Nemesis woke up in the notification of the system.
[Ding!]
[Host will experience his very first quest since coming in this world.]
[Quest Content: Survive and kill the incoming 501 bandits.]
[Main Target: Bandit King Buser]
[Quest Rewards: Pet summoning Scroll x1, 5000 SCP, and Exp worth 10 levels.]
Hearing the notification, he became excited. "Finally here they come. I thought I'm going to miss this chance to farm exp. Hahahaha. The lambs have arrived. I think I'll give them a good welcoming committee." grinning as he cooks up his evil plan.
Inside the carriage with all the mercenaries sleeping, he stuffed his blanket with things to make it looked like he's still there. He cast [Teleportation] fifty kilometers in front of the caravan then also casted [Fly].
He looked at his map and found all the 495 small red dots, 5 medium red dots, and 1 big red dot at the end. According to the map they are in additional five kilometers so he teleported again to 300 meters above them and scanned their levels.
Bandit levels ranges from level 70-80, 5 level 90, and Buser at level 105. Looking at their levels made Nemesis excited. Nemesis is currently at level 69 from his last exp hunt and with all his spells, he can decimate all 500 at once by bombarding them with [Fireball], [Lightning], and [Magic Arrow from above, and maybe kill Buser in the crossfire. But that would be boring and this is his chance to fight with Kanshou and Bakuya.
"Buser is high-level, maybe I can get some cool skills from here or not. Same goes for those 5 lieutenants he has. It's time to polish my skills in fighting people. I usually spam [Fireball], [Lightning], and [Magic Arrow] for easy and fast kills." These three are his bread and butter for farming.
"I'm also currently low on SCP's as well, ha!". The massacre begins now.

Oblivious to their impending doom, they sat at their posts waiting and chatting on what they will do after this major job when they suddenly heard explosions and lightning strikes around them. The bandits panicked and trying to find out where is the source of that attack, but it's futile. They are already getting killed one by one.
At the other end of the post. "Boss we are under attack. Most of our brothers are dead from the explosions and lightning strikes. They are currently finding the source of the attack, but when they do they are already blown up or zapped to death." Antonio reported.
"Shit we are the ones getting ambushed instead of our incoming preys. Damn it!" Buser said in fury.
Then one of his lieutenants comes in. "Boss the enemy is above us right now. It's an old man raining his spells on us."
"Boss bad news, all our brothers are dead. We are the only one that remains. He's on his way now. That old man has saved us for last it seems." another lieutenant reported.
"Shit. We had bad luck this time. Everyone, escape in all directions. Don't let that old man kills you. If any of us survives, make sure to make this old man pay for the death of our brothers."
"Yes boss." all lieutenants replied.

Just as they are about to exit the place, they heard. "Oh, hello there! You all must be thinking of escaping, but I must say that all of you shall not escape, so forget the thoughts of surviving."
"So you are the one that killed them. Who are you and what do you want?" Buser replied as he was gritting his teeth in fury.
"Me? I'm just an old man traveling around that heard stories of a bandit group terrorizing the Azelec Mountains and I just came to clean it."
"Impudent old fool, you might kill the weak members of our group, but we are the powerful ones.
"Everyone, surround him and attack together!"
"Hahahaha. Don't worry; I will not kill you with my explosive spells. Consider this as a handicap." The old man arrogantly replied.
[Earth Bind] yelled Buser.
Tendrils of plants appeared at the foot of the old man binding him in place. The others cast [Ice Shards], [Fire Javelin], [Water Jet], [Fireball], and [Thunderball] at the spot where the old man is currently rooted.
*Boom*
Seeing a crater with no corpse on it, they all laughed.
"Hahahaha. That was fast. I thought that he's so powerful from all the boasting earlier, but he just died at the first strike."
"Yeah, maybe his old bones can't move that fast anymore. Hahahaha."
Then they heard. "Really?"
One of them felt a chill on his back. He turned around and saw an incoming blades in a crossing slash that is going to cut his head. He was going to cast a defensive spell but it was already late.
His head fell down together with the gushing of blood from his headless corpse.
After his first kill, Nemesis sent Kanshou and Bakuya on the other two bandits near him, targeting their heads. One managed to block it while the other was impaled in the head.
He then conjured another pair of swords and teleported behind the one that blocked his throw and stab his back reaching the heart.
He did the same tricks on the fourth one leaving no time to react.
Seeing that only the two of them are remaining Buser used [Sandstorm] to obstruct the vision of the enemy. As an Earth Elementalist its an easy feat. Antonio supported him by casting three [Fireball] on Nemesis.
Affected by the Sandstorm, Nemesis can still see them through the [Map] and system warnings for incoming attacks.
"Damn they stick together, my tricks won't work and if I teleported on weaker one, Buser will immediately cast a defensive magic." he clicked his tongue in annoyance.
Observing that his tricks won't work he use [Fly] and conjured a Bow in his hand. He poured Mana into it making an arrow. He then released it on Antonio's head anticipating it's immediate death.
Buser sensed something is wrong, he felt something is coming and shouted [Earth Wall] making a cocoon of defense.
The arrow managed to penetrate the cocoon but it was stopped midway.
Buser removed the shell and stopped the sandstorm and looking above them is the old man with a bow on his hand.
"This old man sure has some tricks." He then cast [Earth Spears] and Antonio cast [Firestorm].
Seeing the incoming attacks teleported again and conjured twenty swords and hurled it towards them.
With the twenty swords approaching. The duo had no choice but to evade separately.
Now that his attack worked, Nemesis immediately teleported behind Antonio to finish him off.
With Buser now remaining, he finally used his trump card. He cast [Summon: Earth Golem]. A fifty foot tall Earth Golem made of rocks has appeared.
Surprised with the sudden appearance of the golem, Nemesis conjured more swords and hurled towards it.
Thirty minutes has passed and Buser finally fell. Nemesis then burned all the corpses and take their interspacial rings.
Buser's ring is what makes him excited, as he anticipating a bunch of riches inside but he stopped himself to take a look at it at the moment.
He has gone for two hours already and hopefully no one noticed him missing or something when he returns.
Nemesis teleported back and returned to his sleeping bag and sighed in relief.
He now take a look at the system notifications.
[Quest Completed]

[Host has already reached level 100, excess exp has been stored away.]
[Host has unlocked the skill Unlimited Blade Works]
[Host has unlocked [Rebirth] function. Host is required to accept it so host can further level up and use the stored excess experience.]
Nemesis was shocked when he heard he capped at level 100 and the system not letting him to advance.
"Watafak. [Rebirth] function?" Hearing this from the system he asked the system what does the [Rebirth] function does.
When he heard the system reply, he doesn't know whether to laugh or cry right now.
