The National High School Summoner's League.

The annual event that happened throughout the country.

It consisted of both individual and team matches.

The results of both the matches would be added together and 25% of the total will be taken. 

And this result would make up 70% of the total score. 

In other words, if the student did not participate in the league or if they messed up during the competition, it was time to say goodbye to their dreams of getting into the Summoner's universities.

This would be the most horrible thing that would happen to Lu Wu and all of these were because of Skeleton.

Lu Wu's predecessor left him a small skeleton which was publicly known as the most useless initial summoned beast.

And Lu Wu clearly saw it with his own eyes. Skeleton couldn't even walk straight!

If Lu Wu went to the League with Skeleton, wouldn't it be the same as surrendering? 

However, even if that's what he wanted, he would still have to find someone who would let him do that.

The league had both individual and team matches, and everyone would have to participate in both.

They weren't allowed to only join one of the matches. If they want to participate, they'd have to be in both the matches.

As for a team, there had to be at least three members per team.

This meant that if Lu Wu couldn't find two other people to form a team with him, he would not be able to join the league.

It sounded like an easy thing to do because he only needed two other teammates. 

However, how can these things be decided so casually?

Why would anyone risk their own future to be in a team with noobs like him?

Well, even his childhood friend that made a promise that they would join the league together left them when he saw that Lu Wu summoned a skeleton.

If your childhood friend of 10 years was not willing to form a team with you, who would want to join a team with someone who has a skeleton as an initial summoned beast? 

If he was in the other person's shoes and he had to form a team with Pang Tutu for the League, he can't promise that he would agree as well.

He had no other choice. The National High School Summoner's League was way too important!

Therefore, Lu Wu was currently in an extremely devastating situation.

However, he didn't just committed suicide like his predecessor. Well, of course, this was not because he was more mature than the guy before.

It was mainly because he had something that the predecessor didn't — a golden finger.

"Let's hope that this sh*t is helpful!"

As he looked at the scenery outside the window, he started humming to himself with an excited look on his face.

The entire way back was uneventful. 

With the memories of the predecessor coming back to him, Lu Wu managed to find his way back home.

However, there was a slight glitch.

The predecessor wasn't abandoned at an orphanage, which made his life story a little plain compared to the typical MC in those transmigration novels. Instead, he gained three extra family members.

Other than his parents, he had a sister that was only three years old. 

Along with a cat that had two tails which was Lu Wu's mother's summoned beast.

As for his father's summoned beast, Lu Wu didn't have many memories about it. All he could remember was that the summoned beast was already dead but he wasn't sure what really happened.

Because he transmigrated into this body and with the memories of his past life, he still felt a little uncomfortable with his "new" family. 

Therefore, when he got home and had his dinner, he put his best effort to get rid of the three-year-old girl that was stuck to him like gum. Then, he hid in his room along with Skeleton and started experimenting with the golden finger that he just got. 

Lu Wu's parents didn't mind as they thought that it was because he was in a bad mood after summoning a skeleton as his summoned beast.

This was the special ability of his newly awakened golden finger. 

Whenever he touched a summoned beast with this finger, he would be able to see their attributes.

However, this was the only thing that he could do with the golden finger after experimenting with it during the entire trip back home.

Although there was a button that said "to be enhanced" in the quality column, the button was grey in colour which meant that it was useless. 

"So, it looks like if I want to enhance its quality, there are certain conditions that I have to fulfill. But what are they? Is it some sort of EXP? Do I have to gain it by killing?"

Lu Wu's head started spinning with all these questions.

Since he got to nowhere after thinking about it the entire day, Lu Wu started to get frustrated.

"F**k! Since it's a golden finger, can't it be more simple and straightforward? Why do you have to make me guess? I'm going to f**king, complain!" 

The one thing that Lu Wu didn't even notice himself was that his temper had become really bad after transmigrating. His self-control was extremely low, and he would be easily triggered. This was influenced by his predecessor.

Well, this would probably be normal as he suddenly received all the memories for the past ten years from this predecessor.

But, the lucky thing was that Lu Wu was still able to control himself. He could still pull himself together although it took a little bit more effort than before.

Well, it was definitely impossible via killing monsters since both of them wouldn't have the skill to do so.

After that, he thought of energy charging and he immediately gave up on this idea as well. 

With his current situation, the only energy that he could get was the electricity. Does that mean that he'll have to shock himself along with Skeleton?

Lu Wu thought about it and decided that it was a bad idea for both him and Skeleton as they might end up dead if anything went wrong.

It would be game over for him if either of them died.

He should at least become a professional summoner before that happened.

Since he was bonded to his initial summoned beast.

If Skeleton died, he would be injured psychologically. Since Lu Wu wasn't sure if they had the required medical advancement to treat him, this trauma itself would directly end his path of becoming a professional summoner.

Therefore, electrocution was definitely not a good choice.

Lu Wu narrowed his eyes and said, "Well then, I guess I only have one way left!"
