Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. The Village

Aaron floated along the desert plains as the group slowly got closer and closer to the village. It reminded Aaron of the many times he had seen fantasy desert villages portrayed in shows and the Internet. Houses appeared to be made out of sandstone or some other similar material. "The people out there must not be wealthy if they do not live like the others. These could be the orcs that we were looking for, so just keep calm." Aaron advised Seph, None and Sciat, whose wings slowly began to furl in around him. It was because there was a slight wind pulling his wings backwards, and it was annoying the living hell out of him.

"Alright, but if they try to attack me, I won't leave a single remain behind. However, that's if the supposed villagers lunge at me. If they stand still and do not try to hurt me, they are safe." Sciat explained as Seph and None put their swords back by their waists, Seph putting his broadsword into its sheath.

"Now, we all need to be nice, calm and collected. If we don't do this right, we might gain the ire of the potential monsters that live here, so we'll need to do everything slowly." Aaron explained as the group reached the entrance of the village, causing Aaron to stop floating. They began to scan around the town for people. However, it appeared, to them, to be void of all life. The usual sounds of commerce you'd find in a village were nowhere to be heard as if it was a ghost town that they had stumbled across. Did the residents of the area leave it for a good reason? Possibly. Maybe the Basilisk had something to do with it. Aaron was curious, but he needed to know if any people were hiding in this deserted place.

Aaron relaxed his body and released a very unique pulse of Godly Energy. If you've heard of Search Magic, this was uniquely similar. Godly Energy can be altered, and Aaron had changed its purpose to fit his own needs. This searching Godly Energy not only revealed people with a mana source and magic capabilities but also people themselves, so even if you had no magical talent and no mana, you were not safe from this search. It was something only Aaron knew how to do, as, after all, it may be Godly Energy, but it's not like anyone else can control what they create.

'Let me, the Describer, explain this situation to you, Auth. You learned about Godly Energy a little while ago, didn't you? I mean, if you've forgotten, I'd be surprised, but since you haven't used it in such a long time, let me tell you WHY people other than Aaron are unable to manipulate Godly Energy.'

'Essentially, Godly Energy is the substance that powers the universe, so think of it as coffee in your daily routine or having to eat food. Something necessary for you to function. Now, replace that with Godly Energy, and you with the entire universe as we know it. It shouldn't be too hard. Now, with the power that holds, you could shape Godly Energy to do...well...anything you could ever dream of. You used to be really good at using it yourself, you know. That was...well...before your "Incident", and you've never been able to use it since. I'm sure that you COULD, but you just haven't, and it saddens me. You had so much potential, but since getting the Supreme System...'

'You've become nothing more than a fragile husk of what you used to be.'

"What does it matter to you, huh?!" The strangely deep voice yelled at The Describer. "After all, it's not like it affects you in any meaningful way, does it?!" The voice continued, but you could swear that it was you yelling at the voice. It felt like it was you, but it also wasn't at the same time. It was too hard to describe.

'Well, if you want to be like that, fine, but the reason Aaron can manipulate Godly Energy is that he...' The Describer tried to explain, but you cut him off midway. Or was it you? You couldn't tell. "I don't care! Get back to doing your job, Describer! I need to see what happens with Aaron! I'll learn more about him later!" You and your strangely deep voice yelled at The Describer, and all you could hear was a sigh. You felt bad about what you had done, but some part of you was happy that The Describer was doing what he was supposed to.

'Fine then, if you want to be like that, I'll get back to reading about Aaron's life, but you're going to be confused later on down the path, so be warned. After all, this is pretty good information, but if you don't want it, then I'll let you go off and find this information on your own.' The Describer responded, obviously angry at not being able to actually do his job, which was describing things, and he continued to read through the text describing Aaron's life.

Aaron's pulse of Godly Energy revealed something that he was not expecting. There were orcs in this village, but more importantly, they were co-existing with humans! They were all hiding below their houses in what appeared to be an underground bunker. After all, they needed someplace to hide from the Basilisk.

"So, that's where they're hiding, huh? Well, that's good to know. Let's go to see what they're doing down there. After all, to have hidden from The Basilisk, they would have needed some good defences. However, not good enough to stop me." Aaron said to himself as he walked forward, leaving the others confused. Seph and None still wanted to know how Aaron would separate them using God Eater, but that could be brought up at another time. They had spent too much time with the Basilisk.

Aaron walked inside one of the broken-down houses and slammed his foot downward, knowing nobody was standing below him, thanks to him using his Godly Energy. The ground collapsed beneath his foot, creating an almost circular hole. Aaron fell down into the underground compartment where the humans and the orcs had been living together. His eyes were closed so that he didn't get any dust in them. Aaron opened his eyes to see what was inside this bunker...

Only to be met with a blade through the centre of his skull.

Aaron really do be breaking and entering though
