The dragon opened its eyes, although not in the literal sense. He stared at the humanoid body with thoughts of power in his mind. It was a nicely-built body, at least to the dragon. "Explain to me how you made this body. I have a feeling I won't be able to recreate it, but I'm curious as to how you made an entire humanoid body, including clothing." The dragon asked Soul, who smiled. "Well, I used one of my abilities called Boundless Telekinesis to imagine a body and then used an interdimensional creation ability to make it real. That's all I can really tell you." Soul explained, referring to Boundless Interdimensional Summon.
"Well, from that description alone, I know for a fact that I can't make my own body. However, how is it still here? Surely by projecting it into existence, once you decide to lose concentration on it, my body will be destroyed." The dragon pondered, trying to iron out every single outcome. After all, he didn't want to die while inside this body. "I understand your concerns. However, since I created this body using physical matter with the interdimensional creation ability, I could lose concentration, and it'll stay there. Only if I actively wished to destroy your body would I do that." Soul responded, shutting down that fear. "Essentially, you can do anything a human could, down to mimicking their appearance. All of that with the strength of a dragon. I personally think that would make for a scary entity." Soul continued, increasing the allure of this humanoid body even more than he already had.
"I've heard enough. Tell me how to put myself into this empty vessel, and then I want to test myself against you." The dragon told Soul, stopping him from speaking any more than he already had. "Well, I've designed it to be as simple as possible. Just imagine that you want to transform into the humanoid form, and everything else gets immediately handled by your brain. It's quite an advanced process, so I'm surprised that it could even theoretically work. I'm a living example of that, though, so I guess it had some hold in reality." Soul replied, watching as the humanoid sprung to life. The humanoid immediately fell to the floor on all fours. It looked kind of like a person pretending to be a spider.
"I'm assuming I'm not meant to be walking like this as a human, right?" The dragon, or humanoid, asked, causing Soul to smile a bit. "No, you aren't. Although, that reminds me. Do you have a name or something along those lines? after all, it'll be hard to speak to you without having a way to identify you." Soul responded, asking a question of his own. "Nope. I've heard that they are things that humans use to tell them apart. I'm a dragon, so my presence is enough." The dragon responded, causing Soul to look at it with an expression that only said 'You cocky bastard'. Pretty hypocritical, considering his past, but we won't delve further into that. During this time, Corruption dripped to the floor from Soul's leg, turning invisible as it splashed against the ground. It was a preparation for later.
"I'm giving you a name, and you're going to use it. After all, if you want to be amongst the humans, you have to possess a name like one too. I go by the name Soul, but since you're a dragon, it wouldn't make sense." Soul explained, trying to think of a name that made sense but also wasn't cliché. "Draco? No, too overused for dragons and annoying people. Drake? Nah, it wouldn't really fit. I could make some alternate version of wyvern...Nah, that's too hard. Damn. I've made names for humans, but one that relates to dragonkin is a hard thing to create." Soul said to himself, whispering. "Wyrm? It's a dragon type, but would it work well as a name? No, it sounds identical to the word worm, and I'm not sure he'd enjoy that." Soul continued talking to himself as an idea struck him in the head.
"Hey, would you like to be called Orochi? It's the name of a dragon-like serpent that I know of. It has eight heads, but they are collectively known as Orochi. What do you think?" Soul asked, going through the deepest of Aaron's accessible memories. It was from an old game he used to play, although Soul was sure that it had roots in some Earthen mythology. "Orochi, huh? Well, I like that name. It sounds intimidating but also like a casual name. I'll take that name." The dragon, now known as Orochi, responded, walking up to Soul. "Now, I told you that we'd be doing this, didn't I? It's time for me to test out this body. Even if it's in my own mind, I'd like to fight you. I want to see if you're strong enough to hold your own against the beast that you've created." Orochi told Soul, cracking his new knuckles. Soul stepped backwards, his left hand preparing itself for what it would do next.
"Oh, I know. Do you think I've just been slacking in the times that you've been talking? Watch as this area turns into MY playground!" Soul yelled, springing his trap. The drops of Corruption that had fallen from his legs earlier suddenly appeared. Orochi looked around the room, looking at the black Corruption. It was across the ground and slightly up the walls. "Watch, as the power of the Corruption that overcame you shows its abilities!" Soul exclaimed, rushing forward, his palm outstretched. Corruption lifted up off the floor, gathering in the palm of his hand as if it was a ball of energy.
Orochi looked at Aaron with fear, watching as the ball of energy got closer. He extended his hand, imagining fire coming out of there instead of his mouth. Flames spewed from his palm like a flamethrower. Just as fast as Soul had run up to him, he had disappeared. Orochi was confused for just a second.
"Behind you." Soul whispered, causing Orochi to turn around in shock, giving Soul the perfect opportunity to smack him in the face with Corruption. That's what he did.
