It was a thick dark night .

Why?

Because that was no moon night.

The "Kirr.... kirr..." noise of nocturnal (night) creatures was disrupting the calmness of that dark night.

Meanwhile, the Owls were making very freaky voices that were, swirling all around the dark atmosphere. And the darkness was so thick that, one couldn't see the meter ahead of him.

In this freaky atmosphere there was a person, walking briskly, more than that, running briskly making the much lesser noise of her footsteps. Still the noise of her whisk breaths was interrupting all other freaky noises of that atmosphere.

Meanwhile her stomach began to grumble as she hasn't eaten for the whole day. She was feeling exhausted. Her feet went limp, yet she kept running.

She was carving for a drop of water. Still she continued to run and run. untill she reached her destination.

It was an old hut like house. A man around 35-38 age was sleeping calmly on the hand made bed, with a blanket covered all over his body. The calmness at this place was soothing, as compared to the calmness of the night that the girl was cutting through.

She came near that house, and with the support of a big tree she stood over there, behind that huge tree as if she was trying to hide herself from someone. She took a long breath, turning her head sideways, here and there she slowly began walking towards the house.

Her breaths were unstable. Her full body was wet due to sweat. She had lot of scratches, wounds, all over the body. Her clothes were tored. She nearly collapsed near the bed, calling softly with her remaining strength, "Brother Lee..."

A sudden familiar voice rang in that calmly sleeping man's ears that made that man roll over the bed. With the sleepy eyes, he turned his head towards the source of that voice.

At that moment, when he saw a familiar silhouette on the floor, his eyes widened. All the sleepiness in his eyes vanished and his sleepy head brain started running at a lightning speed.

He saw her sister Xian Woo, in a very bad condition and in a nearly collapsed position. He quickly woke up from his bed, running towards her, he squatted down to reach to her level and held her shoulders with his both hands as he asked in a trembling voice, "Sister Woo? What happened? Why are you in such condition?"

Her miserable condition made Brother Lee to think the reason behind it. His sister Woo had been happily married before 6 months with Master Yu Han.He was one of the rich man of the city, and the sole heir of the Yu corporation which was at the top of the pyramid at present.

Also having the good reputation not only in his own city but also all other neighborhood cities, he was the most elite bachelor in town before six months. He was popular in people for his kindness, loving and helpful nature. And till now, Lee was assuming that his sister is living happily over there.

But now she was in front of his eyes with her lost mind, bared foot, tored clothes, so many scratches, wounds all over the body, he was unable to understand the reason behind this. Even Woo was not in a condition to tell him all that happened to her.

Looking at his sister's pitiful appearance, Xiaoliee realized that she needed rest and care.

He grabbed her hands and led her inside the house. He offered a glass of water, and in a fraction or second, she grabbed that glass from Lee's hands and within a second she drank it all.

So thirsty she was!

After getting water she was somewhat relaxed. Suddenly she remembered something. Her eyes got widened and lips started trembling. She wanted to pronounce something, but her lips were not able to call that words. Her voice was stuck in her throat while, her lips were unable to convey her words.

Brother Lee saw her shaking violently, he pulled her towards him and wrapped his hands over her shoulders and took her in his arms and started to console her. He started patting on her back and then on her head and tried to make her calm. Then he made her lie down on the bed. Soon she went asleep.

Brother Lee was very much worried to see her incredibly bad condition. Though the atmosphere regained its calmness but inside the mind of Brother Lee there was the storms of thousands of thoughts. He was still sitting there besides his sister's bed, near her in a deep thought with lots of questions wandering in his mind.
