4 A deal or two, maybe three

"well darling it's time to visit a mister cobblepot" as I said this I put on my blazer and head for the door when a Albedo responded " it's good that your excited to start but 40 million is allot of money, where are you going to put it? In the bank? Remember we don't have identities. So we need to make identities and then open a bank account first"

This honestly made me stumble and made me nearly fall over. " hahaha would you look at the time, the library just opened. I think I know who can make our identities" with a little smile I couldn't help but finish. Travelling to the library once again only took around five minutes. Walking in we gathered many stares but payed them no heed looking around discreetly whist sitting at a table I found the woman I was after. Barbara Gordon. One off the best hackers in dc, with this she has the ability to make me and Albedo American citizens.

Walking over I started my play. " mrs Gordon, it's lovely to see you again but I have a favour to ask would you mind if we spoke somewhere alittle more private. It won't take much time. " at this she turned to both me and Albedo before narrowing her eyes slightly as If trying to see threw us. " alright, I've got a few minutes let's talk in the back" at this I agreed readily and the three of us moved into the storage room of the library.

Once we arrived I noticed a rather expensive looking laptop with the massive Wayne tech logo. Sitting down at a bother table I turned to Barbara who was opposite us. " word on the grape vine is that you my friend are a very skilled hacker" giving a second to pause I wanted to gauge her reaction before continuing " and you see me and Albedo have a little identity problem that we where hoping you'd solve" after that I could see some visible panic since no one but the bat family new she was a good hacker.

"How did you know? I've never told anyone before." Not answering her question I carried on. " that isn't important, I need you to create identities for me and Albedo. Can you do i?" Locking eyes we remained like it for a few seconds. " I can, but why should I?" Thinking for a moments I decided to change the flow of conversation. " do you belive in magic Barbara? I'm an incredibly powerful wizard of sorts do this and I'll ow you a favour. I'll do any one thing you ask. I could give you super power, revive someone you have lost, make some who doesn't love you, love you back. It's all possible and it's so easy for you to obtain. You can even sit on your favour for the future." As I was speaking I infused my throat with charm magic, to increase my level of persuasion.

" can you really do all that " she look at me with shock but it was true every last word. Since becoming a devil I've noticed that I lost the ability to lie. I knew this wasn't a dxd devil thing but I guess I was somehow related to the dc lucifer so I inherited this trait. " I can, all you have to do is make a magical contract with me and you'll get a favour from me."

She was hesitant, at first. However, after reading the contract reluctantly she agreed. She would make an identity for me and Albedo and then never speak of doing so and in turn she'd get a favour from me. Their where a few loop holes for me or her to use but in truth I wasn't bothered. She could never speak of what she'd done but she could tell people she had a contract. If she realised this then go Barbara good job.

After fine tuning what we needed to do Barbara finally got to work creating identities for Sirzechs Gremory and Albedo Eisheth. In around half an hour she had already created identities with corresponding ages 14 (me) and 23 (Albedo). Saying our goodbye we left with our new identities, she also provided us with a copy of it some we could use it immediately.

Turning to my tall companion i spoke " come Albedo, next stop the bank, then the ice burg lounge."

1 hour later me and Albedo had to set up a bank account turns out I need a guardian and guess who that fell on. She was oddly happy about it too. Quickly moving on from whatever fetish Albedo had I looked at my bank card. It was of course one from Gotham bank, since it's the hardest to rob and if you rob it you'll piss of Bruce Wayne, cobblepot and a few other villains with legal businesses, although it doesn't stop some it stops most.

After walking around I did notice that I was all little hungry and hadn't eat since I arrived on earth-16. Walking through an alley a mugger pounced on me.

However I didn't need to do anything as the lower half of his body disappeared in a flash.

" albedo did you really need to kill the poor, not that I really care but still we can't draw to much attention to ourself. " rummaging through the thieves jacket pockets I found around 1000 USD and some jewellery.

After my looting I burned his body luckily their was no camera in this ally so I didn't have to do anything about it. Arrived at a semi decent restaurant after checking the prices Albedo and I decided to have a meal. One thing I learned however was Albedo was a light weight. " a single glass of wine, that's all it took for the mighty angel turned demon to get drunk. Not going to lie, I'm kinda disappointed"

However my words did have consequences. " what, don't you want me?! Don't you love me?!Don't get rid of me?!" Breaking into a sob I couldn't help but be shocked again. At this everyone in the restaurants attention was on us. Not really sure of what to do I decided to eat quickly and edge my drunk companion to finish as well. Turned out she order the bottle so I had to pay for that too. " spent my entire hall form earlier. Well time to go darling." Walking over and putting the drunk Albedo over my shoulder I left.

Walking out of the restaurant did get me a few looks, however I paid no heed to them. Walking into an empty alleyway with no camera I decided to cast a spell called gate and immediately get to our temporary base. (Overlord spell)

Arriving inside the building I placed Albedo on the bed before looking at the bottle of wine and creating a glass out of demonic energy for myself I pour some for myself and headed upstairs into the temporary work room. Doing some renovations to allow for magic weapons and armour to be created I got to work. When it was finished which only took around 5 minutes I began to make a set of around for Albedo, as a physical fighter she'll definitely need it. As a bonus I could easily train her in magic later.

Hours passed and it was already 10 pm I had finished the armour and Albedo had awoken from her drunk state not before crying about about how embarrassing it was. Giving Albedo the armour and a axe she immediately went to change whist I put on a white suit, black shirt and red tie.

Walking out I noticed that albedos armour fit like a glove and if other looked over at us it would Look like a knight and her king.

" right, albedo the ice burg lounge has opened. Time to make some money." Loving quickly through the city we arrived not 30 minutes later, a queue had already formed. But I'd rather be dead then wait in this line with these half bits. Walking straight to the front I was immediately confronted. "Hey asshole their a line for a reason. " ignoring the fool I kept walking and eventually arrived at the door.

" no cuts get to the…" before the goon could finish I slipped him 500 dollars and moved into the building. I could Kill my way to penguin easily but that be no fun. Walking into the club it was honestly quite nice. I notice penguin sitting in a high up seat looking down on everyone.

Using telepathy I decided to directly speak to him.

" mister cobblepot, I have a deal you won't be able to resist" he looked around panicked so I spoke again. " I'm speaking into your mind, the man in the white suit next to the woman in armour with horns, wings." After that his eyes focused on the entrance and we made eye contact. Leaning over he whispered something in a goons ear. Walking to the bar Albedo order a drink but just as she was about to have some I decided against it. Taking the drink from her hand I spoke " not whist we are working, especially after what happened at dinner" finishing her drink in one go I placed it back on the bar. Just as I did so the previous good approached us and spoke in an commanding tone " mister cobblepot would like to see you in his office. "

Going into the back, I saw penguin sitting at a large desk. On both his left and right was an armed man sporting semiautomatic weapons. " so what does a telepath want with me" his tone amused and condescending.

" oh my, your poorly mistaken, I'm not a telepath but a devil and I've come to make a deal." With a poof of smoke the two viles appeared. " in these two viles are well superpowers. The red one will give you super strength and make it so low calibre bullets won't penetrate your skin. This one will give you a regeneration factor. " he looked interested but quickly said " what's the catch?I don't trust you" before I could respond someone beat me yep it " why you ignorant mortal, you dare refuse the lord kindness" before it could escalate I acted quickly " Albedo! That isn't necessary. Remain silent. So for the elixirs my starting price is 80 million dollars, their is no catch I just need a lot of money and fast" their was a pause

" name your price mr devil." With a quick reply I stated "80 million. It's Sirzechs Gremory" after wards we kept our bargain going since my goal was 40 million, I started high since if a started at 40 it would drop lower then it. I could have search for the league of assassin to do business however that might be to dangerous without the right foundation. After all they could send deathstroke after me, although he's only human he's one of the more dangerous ones, since his will is so strong it can manifest into power.

After around 20 minutes we finally agreed on the price for both 45 million, meaning I got more for the money needed for the district. " the money will take time to move, around 3 hours." Leaning over I handed him the strength vile. He was inspecting it and looking for anything that could deceive him.

Placing my hand into my blazer pocket created a metal rod. As I was pulling it out the guards panic and raised their weapons. " serious, if I shot the man how would I get the money? Fools" at this they both visibly relaxed. Penguin however was an intellectual and natural new this so had no reaction. " here an steel rod, try bend it then drink the potion and try again" taking the rod he attempted to bend it which proved infective. Taking a deep breath he uncorked the vile and took a sip. I made it taste nice and he could tell. Gulping the rest down he waited " so how long with this take?" He asked almost impatient " don't worry, try and bend the rod again " at my words he did so and to his shock it began to bend until it was L shaped. He was shocked but happy. " you said it take 3 hours no, I'll give you the second one after you transferred the money, I will remain in the ice burg lounge however" standing up me and Albedo began to leave the room. After entering the hallway I heard the maniacal laugh.

Going down to the bar I goon caught up to us and told us to head to vip which I was a little happy about since it means he's showing me respect unlike the earlier attitude.

The bank about a large amount of money entering my account. I told him it was fine and that it was acquired legally. Standing up from the vip seats both me and Albedo had been enjoying our time in, I let her have a little drink but not to much still she was stumbling. Immediately after another goon came up and we went back to office. Giving the other vile over straight away. I've never scene a man drink something with such haste but I can't blame him. 22.5 million on about 100 ml of substance.

After another laugh we had a small chat about prospects, I didn't tell him much just that I wanted to start a wide variety of business and that I need some money to do so. He was interested and othered to invest. I politely declined as I wanted to be the sole owner, we devils are greedy after all.

We spoke for around 30 minutes nothing was truly of value and we both realised it. " well mister cobblepot I believe it's time for me to go. I've had a wonderful time and let's keep business going well meet again once I've set up" saying that I opened a warp in front of him not even bothering. After I stepped through Albedo was right behind.

Nothing else happened that night, it all ended peacefully.
