Sir Roland: Death Isn't The End?

Sir Roland, a man loyal to his kingdom and a personal guard to his King; he awakes to the neighbouring country's ambush. Realizing he awoke to a raging war soon to take place in the capital, he makes it back with haste after being on vacation. Once arriving at the king's great city, knowing they were prepared for war left Roland at little ease, but helped somewhat with his nerves. As soon as he made it inside the walls of the city, the fiercest and most loyal Knight is only met with insults and suspicion. Arrested for the suspicion of "treachery" he is brought to the palace with little resistance as he himself wanted answers that only the king could provide as he was the most loyal of any Knight. Once arriving before the king, he is met with shock as the only sight before him was the king's son. A treacherous conversation later, the only thing left in Roland's thoughts were conspiracy. Did the son of the King overthrow his own father, using our enemy's? Later killed and Roland filled with hatred, he is presented an opportunity from the goddess of that particular world. To go years back into the past and save his kingdom from peril. Before any of this happened, back to when Roland was a baby. This was his second chance to redo all his mistakes, and he won't throw it away; Not this time.
