1 BloodLust

I've decided to keep a journal from my long journey, but before I start I need to give a little background information. I was in love with someone who I held dear to my heart, but my father didn't approve, and neither did hers. So we were cursed to be together forever, but every time she dies she loses her memories and emotions. But she never stays dead for long, she's always reincarnated over and over, and I always know by first look that it's her. I've watched her die for the last thirty thousand years. I've yearned for a way to break this curse that our fathers placed on the two of us. I've finally found a way to break it, but first I need to assemble a team to help me do it. That Is where my journey really begins, the day I set out to form the Sins of Humanity.

I awoke one morning on the dirt as usual, remembering the dream I had last night about seven sins saving the world. I knew I could make this happen, I had too. Then I began to remember what happened the day before, the love of my life died. Again. It was getting worse and worse watching her die, the pain never stopped, the heartache never went away. I've watched her die 123,654 times, each time in a different way, causing the same heartache. I've seen her die so many times all of my tears have gone, I can no longer cry even if I wanted too. But this time was the last straw, I bottled up my emotions about yesterday and got up off the dirt and began walking. I had no plan in particular, but I was determined to save the world from all the evil, and in doing so rid me and my lover of these putrid curses. I took one last look at her mangled corpse, it was barely recognizable. I couldn't leave her like that, I opened my hand, releasing a black flame. I muttered,

"Rest in peace, I'll see you soon." I blasted her body with my flames, burning it into nothing. I could only do that when I was alone, anyone else would call me a devil, which I am. I'm from the devil race, we've been hunted and murdered for eons. My family and I rule the devil realm, my father being the supreme leader and I would have been the next in line but I met her. I have the same power as my father, I could manipulate the darkness inside me at my own will. I had a magical ability "gifted" to me once I had this curse placed on me, it was my fathers demon mode. It gives me super strength, reflexes and speed, but I cant control it, I murder innocent and guilty alike.

I can't tell you how many I've killed, I don't want to remember, but I wake from my rampages covered in blood and many different body parts. I began walking down the dirt path again, I heard some people arguing. It was extraordinarily heated, I didn't care to hear what they were saying. But I wasn't in the mood to walk into the middle of a fight, so I began to run closer to the voices. Once I laid my eyes on the two arguing I realized they were a shifter and a man beast, I was shocked by the two weakest species in all of Gorlania. They were in each other's faces, ready to fight.

Just looking at them made me want to rip them apart, I could feel my bloodlust beginning to pour out of me. I had to keep it controlled, but it was already too late. I began to shift into a demon, long pointy horns sprouted from my head, my once sleek silver hair turned blood red and acted like flames, my eyes once green eyes changed into red and black circles and my once dirty tan skin changed into black scales. I began to look around frantically looking for a spot to run away too, but my body wouldn't listen. I charged the two of them, practically begging to fight. They worked in nearly perfect sync, if I had been anyone else I would already be dead. My body dodged they're attacks with ease, blasting the shifter back, but the man beast had backed up.

"Mason! Are you alright!" The man beast asked.

"Akira, im fine!" The shifter barked.

With that the man beast transformed into a large gray wolf, and attacked me. He dodged my attacks with relative ease, he moved with such grace and each of his moves were carefully thought out and acted with precision. He's good, that thought made me want to fight him more, but I knew I had to restrain myself. I couldn't fight him full force, I knew I'd kill him. I could feel myself starting to black out, if I did I'd be responsible for the death of another innocent. I couldn't do that to myself, I had to run. But my body wouldn't listen to me, I kept swinging my massive hands. I could hear my body beginning to laugh uncontrollably. It was scary, but the man beast kept his composure. He kept attacking with the same flawlessness, once I fully blacked out I knew I would kill them. I slipped into unconsciousness, not knowing what I would see when I awoke.

I snapped open my eyes to find myself tied up and the duo in the middle of another heated fight, I couldn't make out what they were saying but I knew it was about me just from their shadowy glances. I decided to scare them back to the fact that I was awake, I snapped out of the restraints they had me in with ease. Once I did they jumped back,

"Easy, easy. I'm not here to fight." I said slowly.

"How did you manage to stop me?" I asked. They looked at me warily,

"It was relatively easy. We just waited for you to go back to normal, then we tied you up." The man beast said.

"I had a feeling that was it" I thought to myself.

"Well in any case I apologise, I shouldn't have attacked you two like that." I said. They looked at each other, then back at me.

"We want to join you," They said in unison.

"In your sleep you were muttering about a curse that needs to be broken, and ridding the world of all evil. We want to help." The shifter continued. I looked at them, hesitant at first, but reluctantly I began explaining the whole story to the two of them. How I and my lover began falling in love and how we angered our fathers, how we got the curses on us and how long this hell has been going on for. Once I finished I asked,

"Do you want to join me now?" They had a sad but determined look in their eyes. Only then did I take in the full looks of each of the men. The shifter had brown matted hair, with pale white skin and bright green eyes. While the beast man had eyes like a wolf, a deep sky blue pair of eyes. His hair was long night black, and he had large fangs sticking from the side of mouth.

"Absolutely." They both said aloud. I got to my feet, stuck out my hand and said

"My name is Josh." The man beast shook my hand and said,

"Akira. And this is mason." He said gesturing to the shifter.

"Well today is the day the sins of Humanity are born. We each must name ourselves as a sin of emotion. I will be blood lust." I said officially.

"If you two plan on joining me, choose a sin from your life that you cannot escape, and embrace it." I continued.

"Because today is the day that we take on all the evil in this world and we defend all that is good, no matter what." I finished. I looked at them, they had their heads down.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"We want to rid this world of all evil, and destroy the corruption in each and every race that lives in this blasted world." Mason spat. I smiled,

"Believe me we will." I said.

"We need rules for this little group of ours, we need to keep a united front and make sure we don't fall apart from the inside out." Akira said, deep in thought.

"I already have a set, rule one, if a fight to the death shall happen between two members it will be stopped by all the other members." I paused, Akira and Mason began nodding.

"Rule two, any major decisions will be brought up to all members," I paused again,

"Rule three, Any and all drama relationships are acceptable, no matter the race. Any fighting between members because of race is prohibited." They nodded again.

"Rule four, Formable challenges are acceptable if both members agree. This will also be used to settle disputes and disagreements." I continued. They nodded.

"Rule five, no matter the danger or how against the odds we are we ALWAYS fight for what's right and protect the one who needs protection." I paused, looking each of them in the eyes. They looked back at me, the same determination glowed in their eyes. I smiled and realized, I might have a chance at a normal life. If we can make this happen.
