23 Hidden Dungeon Monster

Screech!

The three Cave Rats rushed towards Sakim as if they were hungry wolves. They had a huge body enough to compare themselves to half of Sakim's if they stood up. They have huge and sharp claws too enough to scratch the wall. How much more if these claws scratched Sakim's body?

They had brown furs and a few scars made by something like a claw were blended on their body. It was obvious that they got these scars through fighting each other or perhaps, against other monsters.

Their yucky saliva leaked out from their mouths and fell to the ground as they rushed. Even Sakim was hesitant to fight back for he was afraid to be dirtied by these rats.

But he had no other choice.

One of the rats had already reached its distance towards Sakim as it jumped. Sakim didn't try to dodge either. He decided to face it head-on. A strategy befitting for a brute.

Was he a brute? Sakim didn't know. But he felt that it was much fun doing this way.

That being said, he brandished his [Rusty Sword] against the incoming rat to shed its blood so that he could try to control it already. His sword then collided with the rat's claw making a deafening clang.

But the momentum made by that rat seemed to be stronger as Sakim was pushed back. This rat was pretty strong. Sakim could feel it.

Or perhaps, he was just too weak. Sakim suddenly recalled that his Strength stat was too pitiful making him realize that his attack damage was very likely to be weak as well.

"!"

Sakim was still thinking how pitiful his Strength stat was when suddenly, a hologram screen appeared right in front of his face. It was the System.

But this time, instead of white, the information about the monster was written in black...

[Cave Rat]

Rank: Magic

Level: 6

HP: 100 | 100

It appeared that making a contact with the monsters even with his equipment could let him get the monster's information through the System. Sakim was a bit delighted.

But wait!

Sakim immediately realized something as he frowned.

This monster's information had actually a black font color?! Sakim's heart couldn't help but skip a bit. Agitation, excitement, restlessness, worries... Sakim didn't know what he felt right now. Was his luck really that good... or bad? He couldn't even make sense of what was what. All he knew right now was that this was an opportunity as well as a threat.

On whether it was really an opportunity or a threat, perhaps he should be the one who should decide that.

In any case, according to what he knew, monsters in this world had their information written in whatever font color determining their category.

For example, the little monsters he faced a while ago, the Tailed Bush and the Ghost Fire, had their information written in white signifying that they were just normal monsters. On the other hand, the Hidden Boss he met earlier had a golden font color signifying that it was a Hidden Boss.

But this time, the monsters he was currently facing actually had their information written in black. It only meant one thing. These rats were actually 'hidden dungeon monsters'. That said, it only meant that the passageway of where these rats had come out from, was a hidden dungeon. A dungeon inside a dungeon. There was no way he could mistake it.

What was more was that the rank of the monster was actually Magic. Although Magic rank was only next to Common rank, Sakim was still astonished by the strength of these rats. Only level six and the rat who attacked him earlier could already push him away just like that?! Its HP was pitiful as well enough for him to kill it with one slash. How come did this mere rat able to push him away?! Was the monster from the hidden dungeon really this strong?! Or was that the effect of its increased rank?

Screech!

But Sakim didn't have so much time to spend on thinking. The other two rats rushed at him from both sides already. Sakim narrowed his eyes to defend himself. After which, the System had disappeared as if it thought that it would be a hindrance. This time, however, Sakim couldn't be careless and must take this fight seriously.

So then, the two rats jumped at him as well at almost the same time. But unfortunately for Sakim, he only had one sword, and a trash one at that. Sakim managed to block the rat from the right side with difficulty but the other rat managed to scratch his shoulder before going past him.

[HP: 5, 820 | 6,600]

What the heck?!

Sakim tried his hardest to push away the other rat as he retreated with a couple of step-backs. That attack was too ferocious! He even lost a total amount of 780 HP from that single attack. If this was before when he was still a level 1, he probably had died on the spot in a single swing of this rat.

Blood dripped out from Sakim's left shoulder where the rat had attacked him. He then held his sword with his left hand as he reached the wounds on his left shoulder using his right hand to have a feel of it. After which, he looked at his palm and saw his blood. Sakim tilted his head though. This was indeed a blood, and he was indeed got wounded, but why was it that it didn't hurt that much?! Was there a pain reduction in this game world?

He even found that his wound had stopped bleeding and was slowly closing in itself as it was obvious that his HP was regenerating. Was this the effect of the HP recovery attribute that he got from the [Ring of Immortality]? Although the HP recovery was only 1%, with his abundant amount of 6,600 HP, his 1% HP was still a great amount, right? That would be 66 HP! He could recover 66 HP every minute. With that, he only needed 10 or so minutes to restore his lost HP.

Thinking about it could only satisfy Sakim in his character stats and strength. This was really something that might cause envy to every other person he would meet in this world.

However, at that moment as well, Sakim suddenly thought of something. Since he wasn't able to get the blood of these rats, then he should just try to use his own blood to control. No matter what, he should discover the use of his ability and see the extent of it. If in case that it was useless, then he could only helplessly use his passive skill: Greed.

With that in mind, Sakim intended to control the blood on his palm. With great focus, the blood moved and actually floated above his palm. It formed a droplet of blood as Sakim widened his eyes a bit for a moment before a smile surfaced on his lips.

He swept his gaze to the one who attacked him earlier and found the other party hesitating to approach him anymore. Not only that, but even the other two rats were also only putting a stance not daring to attack him at all.

Sakim didn't care though. He knew that he was amazing so what was there to be shocked from the reactions of these rats?

That being said, he threw away the drop of blood floating on his palm towards the one who shamelessly attacked him as he couldn't help but utter, "Go Die!"

"!"

[A skill has been created. Will you name the skill: 'Go Die'?]

|Yes|
