3 Dark Side of the Capital

Six of them were standing in the moonlight announcing that the Grim Reaper had arrived. The guards in the area gathered in panic in order to deal with Night Raid. When the guards arrived they saw a new face standing in front of Bulat. They didn't know who he was but they knew he was trouble seeing his smile.

Tatsumi saw the six of them posing in the red moonlight and recognised one of them. He was shocked to see that Sinbad was there. He didn't know what to think. He thought Sinbad was a good guy but seeing him with this group of people left him chilled and spooked.

The guards ran over in an attempt to protect their employers with weapons in hand knowing that this may be their last chance in life.

Lubbock: Our targets are three guards, Akame.

Akame: They will be eliminated.

Akame fell backwards and elegantly landed with Bulat landing menacingly behind her. The guards ran at them as Akame had her hand on Murasame ready to kill. As both her and Bulat had their gravity training, they were now on a whole other level.

Guard: Don't touch that sword. *trembling*

The guard then charged at Akame before having his head fly off in the moonlight. His eyes were still wide open not knowing how he died. It was like Akame hadn't moved her sword and continued walking.

Mine: When did Akame get so strong?

Sinbad: We had some special training earlier so it's to be expected.

Mine: Eating a hundred plates isn't special training.

Sinbad: No! Not that type of training, I meant normal training.

Meanwhile Bulat cause the guard to explode into a pieces by simply impaling him with his lance. The last guard was scared out of his mind before Mine shot him in the head before he even had a chance to run away.

Mine: How pathetic… Running when facing the enemy.

Sinbad: I don't think he had a chance anyway.

Lubbock: That's right. *awkward laugh*

Leone on the other hand was choking the man of the household, Aria's father.

Aria's father: H-Help… I have a daughter…

Leone: Calm down. You'll be with her on the other side.

Aria's father: Even my daughter… Have you no mercy?

Leone: Mercy? What's that?

Leone looked at him scarily and crunched his neck like killing an ant. Simultaneously at the same time, Sinbad got bored and decided to follow Akame to kill remaining target. Sinbad and Akame caught up with Aria and her guard and happened to meet Tatsumi.

Tatsumi turned around and saw Akame and then Sinbad right behind her. He was now sure that the person he saw earlier was Sinbad.

Tatsumi: I guess I have no choice!

Tatsumi pulled out his sword and prepared himself for a fight. Akame vanished from the spot and appeared near Aria. Her guard began firing off his gun at Akame but Akame just blinked in and out of sight like a ghost. Sinbad thought 'She really is a genius. She got strong this fast so easily.'

Akame: Target.

Akame made it in front of the guard and cut him like butter with one slice splashing blood everywhere. Akame then walked in front of Aria and prepared to execute her. Tatsumi ran at Akame to stop her but his sword was stopped. He saw that Sinbad stopped him with just his finger tips.

Sinbad: Tatsumi stop.

Tatsumi: Why!? Why are you doing this?

Sinbad: You wouldn't understand if you weren't this naive.

Tatsumi: Naive!? I am trying to protect an innocent girl! You're trying to kill her!

That was when Leone walked out from the shadows and Tatsumi immediately recognised her.

Tatsumi: You're those boobs from earlier!

Leone: That's right! The beautiful lady! Young man… You said something about killing the innocent, didn't you?

Tatsumi: What?

Leone: Will you be able to say the same thing after seeing this?

Leone kicked the storehouse door and smashed it to pieces. Tatsumi walked in and Sinbad followed.

Leone: Take a good look. This is the imperial capital's darkness.

When they walked in, it was like a scene out of hell. Mutilated bodies hung from the ceiling and disembodied people laid out cold on the floor. People looking out of the cages in total despair. When Sinbad saw this he felt angry because he knew these people were innocent. It was a disgusting sight. That was when Tatsumi recognised the female figure hanging from the ceiling to be Sayo his best friend.

Tatsumi: Hey, Sayo? Is that you, Sayo? *trembling*

Leone: Is it someone you knew?

While they were talking Aria tried to make a sneaky mistake when she felt a hand crushing her skull.

Sinbad: Wait a bit there missy. Where do you think you're going?

Tatsumi: The people of this household did this?

Sinbad: Of course they did.

Aria: That's a lie. I didn't even know this place existed! Will you believe the one who saved you or these people?

Sinbad: Hey there missy, you're lucky that I haven't crushed your skull yet. So stop speaking bullshit already! *glare*

That was when a quivering voice was heard from inside the storehouse. Tatsumi didn't want to believe it but he still turned his head. He couldn't believe his eyes but he recognised this person...

Ieyasu: Tatsumi… Is that you?

Tatsumi: I-Ieyasu?

Ieyasu: That girl invited Sayo and me to her home. And after we ate, we lost consciousness… And when we came to, we were here… Th-That girl tortured Sayo to death! *crying*

Ieyasu slumped onto the floor crying. Aria slapped Sinbad's hand away and began screaming like a demon.

Aria: What's so wrong with that?! You're all worthless hicks from the country! The same as cattle! I'm free to do whatever I want to them, aren't I?! And that woman… Even though she was just cattle, her hair was smooth! Who does she think she is? When I struggle with my unruly hair! That's why I made sure she suffered as much as possible! She should be grateful anyone paid that much attention to her!

Leone: A family of sadists, disguised as Good Samaritans! Sorry for getting in your way.

Akame: Eliminate.

Tatsumi: Wait.

Leone: Don't tell me… You still want to defend her?

Tatsumi: No…

Tatsumi placed his hand on his sword and walked up to Aria. He then slashed her without batting an eye.

Tatsumi: I'll kill her!

Aria then dropped to the ground covered in blood.

Ieyasu: That's Tatsumi for you… That felt great!

Ieyasu coughed up a bunch of blood and started showing signs of his imminent death.

Tatsumi: Ieyasu!

Akame: It's the final stages of Lubora. The mother of the house enjoyed drugging her victims. And she wrote about it in detail in her diary. He cannot be saved.

Ieyasu: Tatsumi… Sayo… She never gave into that bitch. Even to the very end, she was so cool… So Master Ieyasu has to have a cool end…

Sinbad: It seems he kept himself alive by will alone.

Tatsumi: What's going on in the capital?! *crying*

Akame: Let's go.

Leone: Hey… Why don't we bring the kid with us?

Sinbad: That doesn't sound like a bad idea. The more the merrier right? *smile*

Tatsumi: What?!

Leone dragged Tatsumi by the collar as Tatsumi was squirming and screaming to be released. They then made it to the roof where the others were.

Mine: What were you doing?

Sinbad: We picked up a new recruit. *smile*

Tatsumi: What?

Sinbad: From now on, you're one of us. Congratulations on becoming a member of Night Raid!

Leone: Hey! I'm supposed to say that.

Sinbad: It sounds better when I say it.

Tatsumi looked at the six people arranged in front of him. He looked at Sinbad and the impression he got from Sinbad was a highborn king and his companions. Sinbad just seemed to stick out from the group not because of his good looks and appearance but because he had this prenatal emperor aura.

Sinbad: You don't have a choice Tatsumi. *smile* Well let's get going team.

Tatsumi: Wait! What!?

Sinbad: Bulat grab him and let's go.

Bulat: Aiyo. It'll be okay…

Tatsumi: I don't want to be some bloody assassin!

Bulat: I promise it'll get better.

Tatsumi: Wh-What will?

Akame: Mission complete. Time to return.

Everyone jumped off into the shadows and made their way back to the secret base. After a while they made it to the mountain base. It was a long day for everyone so they decided to hit the hay except for one person. Bulat told Sinbad where the training grounds were because he knew Sinbad was a freak of nature who trained non-stop so he didn't stop him and just told Sinbad without even him asking. Sinbad thanked him and went over to the training ground.

Leone: You're not going to stop him?

Bulat: If you knew how much of a monster he was, you couldn't stop him.

Lubbock: How strong is he?

Akame: Too strong. He might be on the same level as Esdeath.

Mine: What!? How?

Bulat: To be honest, I don't know. We're lucky to have Sinbad on our side and not the enemies.

Tatsumi: Is Sinbad really that strong?

Everyone then turned to him like he had said something blasphemous in the house of the lord. Tatsumi was scared and confused.

Bulat: Tatsumi, I don't want to sound rude but I'll be blunt. Sinbad is man that can end you in the blink of an eye.

Akame: He was the one who helped me and Bulat get stronger in one day.

Leone: We should go bed. Tatsumi I'll bring your friends' bodies here in the morning so don't worry and go to bed.

Everyone went to their rooms leaving Tatsumi pondering what Bulat just said. He thought 'He didn't seem that strong when I met him for the first time.'

Meanwhile in the training ground, a shirtless Sinbad could be seen training maniacally like a machine. His gravity seal was at 150x and he was training as if there was no gravity. After training his body he began training his jutsus. The first jutsu he wanted to learn was shadow clone jutsu so he can have his clones train other stuff while he was doing his own thing.

First though he had to train his chakra control. He grabbed a leaf a placed it on his forehead. He channelled his chakra into the leaf so it couldn't fall. The leaf fell after 20 seconds and Sinbad tried again and he was successful in keeping the leaf from falling. Sinbad thought 'Thanks to Instant Mastery, everything is easy' as he smirked and moved on to tree climbing.

30 minutes later in a lake nearby, Sinbad was running around like a little kid. Sinbad was having the time of his life because he had always wanted to run on water. Despite having all the cool abilities in his arsenal, he found running on water the most enjoyable because it was simple yet unimaginable for an Otaku like him.

After having his fun, he moved onto the shadow clone technique. He learned it pretty quickly after cycling through the hand signs. He was able to make 5 clones which he was satisfied with, given the fact that he had just started so he was proud of himself. He had two clones learn jutsus, two clones body training and the last one to spar with himself. The one thing he lacked despite having extreme amounts of power was combat experience. Then his training began...

It was now 8 am in the morning and Sinbad had finished his training session. All around him were around hundred clones doing things of their own. Sinbad dissipated them and all their experiences flooded Sinbad's mind. It was excruciatingly painful but he got used to it. He felt his body get stronger and all the jutsus his clones learnt were now stored in his brain. He was satisfied with his training and decided to go to bed because he hadn't slept at all.

He went back to the base and was wondering where everyone was. He guessed that they would be having breakfast about now. He wondered around before stumbling into the kitchen and saw all the members there. When he walked in, he immediately drew in everyone's gaze. Akame wasn't flustered seeing his body but was impressed. As for everyone else they were eyeing up his perfect body and couldn't help but sigh. Tatsumi was speechless and didn't know that Sinbad was this ripped and had hidden all that beneath his clothing.

Sinbad: So what's for breakfast? *scratches head*

When he did that he looked like a proper hot model making the girls gulp and Bulat take a second look.

Akame: I caught a wild boar earlier so we're having sausages.

Sinbad: Awesome.

Sinbad still being hot and sweaty just sat next to Mine. Mine didn't know what to do and was blushing like crazy. She could smell his fragrant sweat which was odd, because she thought he would stink but he was the total opposite. He smelt like fresh flowers in Spring. Leone with her heightened senses could smell Sinbad and was a bit jealous he was sitting beside Mine.

Sinbad ignored their gazes and began fighting Akame over the food. It then became a battle of the foodies as everyone was speechless towards the scene. Sinbad was stealing the sausages from Akame like taking candy from a baby and Akame was pouting and frustrated promising him that she would have her revenge. Sinbad found it cute and carried on eating.

After breakfast, Sinbad asked Bulat where the baths were. Bulat directed Sinbad to the bath and left. Sinbad stripped down his pants and got into the bath. He thought 'This is the life! Training and a hot bath. It couldn't get any better.'

Sinbad closed his eyes and rested a bit. Yet again an intruder had sneakily entered the baths. Sinbad knew who it was but didn't stop her as he kept his eyes closed. Leone crept into the water and sat beside Sinbad. Sinbad had his arms out resting on the side of the bath so Leone rested on one of this arms and leaned her head on his shoulder like a cat. Sinbad didn't mind but it was a bit off putting considering that a beautiful girl like Leone was snuggling against him like they were a couple.

Sinbad: Leone what are you doing? Isn't this a bit intimate?

Leone: We're just friends right so what's the problem?

Sinbad: Whatever…

They continued staying silent as they rested. Sinbad had his head resting against Leone's head but both of them said nothing. Leone decided to say something after a while to strike a conversation.

Leone: Have you slept?

Sinbad: No I haven't. But I've gotten used to not sleeping anyway. Have you retrieved the bodies for Tatsumi?

Leone: I had people get their bodies for me. I then gave them to Tatsumi and he buried them.

Sinbad: He's still naive.

Leone: I know but he has the talent.

Sinbad: Talent can only take you so far if you don't have the will to carry on.

Leone: There you are being deep again. You sound like an old man. *laugh*

Sinbad: What? I thought I sounded pretty wise, not old. *chuckle*

Leone: What you said was right… If we want to change the world for the better, we have to have the will to back it up.

Sinbad: That's right. Well, I'm going to bed wanna come? *smirk*

Leone: Hey! Don't push it! *blush*

Sinbad: I was just joking. The doors are open for you anyway. Not like you care whether there are doors or not. *laugh*

Leone: Shut up! *pout*

Sinbad just laughed and got out of the bath ignoring Leone who was still surprised seeing his rod despite seeing it once already. Sinbad went to his room and slept for a while.
