17 Danger Beasts

Sinbad was meditating with Susanoo becoming one with the world beneath a waterfall. It had been a few days since Sinbad had come back to the team. Sinbad and Sheele announced their relationship to the other girls, to which they welcomed her with open arms.

Everyone was training hard as Sinbad would often send out his clones to spar with them. However he mainly had his clones scout in various parts of the Empire. He had been gathering information and had been relaying it to Najenda to send back the Revolutionary Army HQ.

Even though Sinbad could have used his ki to encapsulate the entire Empire, it would be less enjoyable for him if there were no surprises to look forward to. Therefore he had his clones walk around slowly gathering information. So far there was nothing to report but random excursions from the Jaegars on various bandit groups.

Sinbad found out that the sixth member of the Jaegars was a man with unknown origin. However he was able to gather that the man used the Teigu: Balzac. The abilities of Balzac were pretty simple, as it could tap into the wearer's body and mind and unlock its potential by 100%. The Teigu's main weakness was that it was limited by the strength of the user. For example, the user would definitely been beaten by those who are significantly much stronger than him such as Sinbad or Esdeath.

Back to the waterfall, Sinbad and Susanoo have gotten more closer due to their relationships with Najenda. Sinbad was Najenda's boyfriend and Susanoo was her servant, for lack of a better term. Although Najenda looked a lot like his previous master, Sinbad carried a similar aura to his previous master.

Sinbad: Su-san, what are you going to cook today?

Susanoo: I have yet to decide Master.

Sinbad: Su-san, I'm not your master, I'm your friend. How many times do I have to say that?

Susanoo: Sorry. I have not yet decided Sinbad-sama.

Sinbad: *sigh* Whatever. Well, I'm craving some pizza today.

Susanoo: I'll prepare pizza for tonight then.

Sinbad had taught Susanoo some food recipes from his past life and since he was a great cook Sinbad thought 'Why not utilise him?' Sinbad's appetite had only ever increased since he had trained his Saiyan physique that even Akame couldn't keep up with him anymore. Their foodie battles had come to an end due to Sinbad being so far ahead in the game that Akame could only wave the white flag with shame. She had always prided herself on eating yet now her Nii-san had not only been her equal but surpassed her by miles.

Sinbad: Let's go back.

Susanoo: Yes, Sinbad-sama.

As they were walking back, in the distance they could see wind shurikens the size of houses being shot out while lightning was razing the landscape. A shuriken flew towards Sinbad and Susanoo but Sinbad just waved it off with a yawn and flew off towards a mountain. The mountain got shredded to pieces in a large wind explosion. It was normal occurrence while walking around the place although it was pretty dangerous. Even Najenda and Chelsea were too scared to go outside because of the destruction being caused from just training.

Sinbad and Susanoo had made it back to the house in one piece after traversing the battlefield. Sinbad walked in with a sigh because everyone was able to improve so quickly due to his teaching ability. He could now explain and detail important points regarding most things to them due to Instant Mastery. Sinbad walked into the living room and saw mostly everyone inside apart from Bulat Tatsumi, Leone and Akame who were training.

Sinbad picked up Koro while Susanoo went into the kitchen to prep for dinner. Koro had gotten more used to Sinbad and was happy that the overlord that he used to fear adored him very much. Sinbad lied down on Sheele's lap playing with Koro as Sheele stroked Sinbad's head. That was when a clone of Sinbad's had just dissipated and new information entered Sinbad's brain.

Sinbad: Looks like we have a situation.

Najenda: What's the problem?

Sinbad: There has been an appearance of a new species of danger beasts and it's causing a lot of trouble. Looks like we have to go back.

Najenda: That does sound serious. We have to exterminate them for the people's sake. Lubbock gather everyone and tell them we're going back.

Lubbock: Yes Ms Najenda.

Lubbock left while Sinbad teased Najenda that it was going to be Mrs soon, which made her blush and shy. Lubbock arrived back with everyone else. Everyone got their stuff ready and Sinbad teleported them to the new base.

They made it there and it really didn't look that much different from the old one. Lubbock had set up a barrier around the area while Susanoo had dug a hole for emergency escape. Everyone walked into the conference room while Najenda had just received files regarding the new danger beasts from the Revolultionary Army HQ.

Najenda: Now that we've returned, without delay, the targets this time are the aforementioned new species of Danger Beast. There have been many cases of them mobilising in groups, and despite it being rudimentary, they display signs of intelligence. Individually they have strong physical ability, and even martial arts masters have challenged them to test their abilities and lost.

Sinbad: Even now they lurk in mines and woods to the south of the capital. They greedily feed upon people and livestock. The Jaegars and Imperial Army exterminate them daily, but it seems they're numerous and there are still many left.

Mine: If the Empire's having difficulty with them, then it doesn't seem to be a trap.

Tatsumi: Then we should just exterminate them.

Akame: Tatsumi's right.

Chelsea: However, since the empire and especially the Jaegars have this covered why not have them do all the work? It's too risky otherwise.

Sinbad: I understand, but every job comes with risk, this is no different from what we do normally. It's just that us and the Empire have the same mutual goal and that is to exterminate these danger beasts.

Bulat: He's right. We are doing this for the people anyway so what gives us any reason to reject their call for help.

Najenda: We'll have you split into pairs to go patrol at night. Sinbad you're on your own. Meeting is adjourned, you lot decide your pairs.

After deciding everyone's pairs they all waited till it started getting dark. But in the meantime they all had their free time to do whatever they wanted. Susanoo didn't have time to prepare pizza before they left so he went straight to the kitchen. Sinbad and Akame waited patiently for Susanoo sitting in the kitchen.

Akame was sitting on Sinbad's lap cuddling close to his chest. Sinbad was resting his head on her shoulder watching Susanoo cook. Then Sinbad decided to tease Akame a little. He suddenly kissed her neck which made Akame shiver.

Akame: Nii-san... *blush*

Sinbad: Quiet, Susanoo is cooking...

He continued kissing her neck leaving behind some hickeys. Akame began to moan as she felt more aroused by his teasing. She jolted in surprise as Sinbad bit her earlobe. She also felt his warm hot breath enter her ear which made her quiver. Sinbad proceeded to tease her until Susanoo finished cooking and until then Akame was panting as she felt a little wet down below.

Susanoo: Pizza is ready Sinbad-sama.

He turned around and saw that Akame looked a mess which irritated him. He ran over and fixed up Akame's attire but he saw all the love bites Sinbad had left and decided to leave them alone. Akame was extremely embarrassed and hid her head in Sinbad's arms.

Akame: Baka Nii-san... *pout*

Sinbad: *laugh* I couldn't resist. You're just too cute.

They then ate a bunch of pizza as they fed each other, even by mouth. Sinbad truly enjoyed eating with Akame because he had to eat alone back on that Danger Beast island and he hated it. It turned dark by the time they finished eating and everyone headed out.

Sinbad was assigned to walk around near the villages in the outskirts of the Empire because those were the areas with the most activity. Sinbad had a long black coat from his usual short blue jacket because he felt that it looked cooler. He was strolling around looking for some danger beasts to kill and just when he was getting bored a few of them presented themselves in the village.

The townsfolk started screaming while Sinbad gingerly strolled over to meet these danger beasts. When he saw them, they looked absolutely horrendous. They looked so grotesque as if they really came from a horror film. Sinbad detested their appearance and sent out a simple punch turning them into mush. The townsfolk then realised that Sinbad was there and that he had just obliterated the danger beasts. The chief of the village walked over nervously to the handsome man to thank him.

Chief: Thank you so much benefactor.

Sinbad: No problem.

That was when he sensed two other people running to the village. He saw a fairly muscular young man of above average height with short dark blue hair and eyes. He wore a blue leather jacket and a red scarf with an anchor on it. This was Wave. Then he saw a girl with very similar features to someone he knew. She had short black hair in a twin tail style and black eyes. She wore a black sailor uniform and a red belt that had a red side skirt cover. This was Kurome, the younger sister of Akame.

They both ran over and saw the handsome figure standing beside the chief and saw the mush left over from that battle, if anyone could call it a battle. They thought his face looked familiar and that was when it struck them. This was the man that their General said to inform her of at all costs and not to engage battle with. Sinbad, the High King of the Seven Seas.

Wave: Y-You're Sinbad!

Sinbad: Oh. You must be a fan of mine, do you want me to sign anything? *smile*

Wave: O-Of course not! You're a criminal!

Sinbad: But do criminals save people like I just did?

Wave was lost for words because he had a fair point. What he just did wasn't criminal at all, if anything it was pretty heroic. Kurome was a bit uncomfortable seeing that Sinbad was staring at her with interest. Wave noticed this too, and put Kurome behind him.

Wave: She's underage!

Sinbad and Kurome had blank faces when he said that because he was an idiot. Kurome smacked him on the back of the head for being an idiot.

Wave: Why?!

Kurome: Do you really think he wanted to do that? Also do I look that young?

Sinbad: It's not good to guess a lady's age like that young man.

Wave: You're the same age as me!

Sinbad: What's up Kurome? *smile*

This stunned the both of them because they didn't think he would know her name. Kurome was confused because she had never met Sinbad before. Unless...

Kurome: You know my sister, don't you?

Sinbad: Yeah I do, she's my girlfriend. *smile*

Wave: What are you talking about?!

Sinbad: Young man, this is none of your business.

Kurome: Nice to meet you Nii-san.

Sinbad: Good. It was nice meeting you two. Tell Esdeath, she will be mine the next time we meet.

Kurome: I will, bye Nii-san.

Wave: You're just going to let him go!

Kurome: He's my Nii-san.

Wave: He's the enemy Kurome.

Kurome: Let's go.

Sinbad decided not to use Kotoamatsukami to being her with him because he thought that it would have more meaningful for Akame to bring back her sister. Kurome meanwhile was thinking about her new brother that had come out from nowhere. Sinbad continued to roam from village to village exterminating danger beasts left, right and centre.

After a long night, Sinbad decided to go to Mt. Fake to see if Esdeath would actually turn up like in the manga. He stood there in the moonlight waiting for her. Esdeath though was flying at night clearing her head. She had received a report from Wave a while go detailing their encounter with Sinbad and his close association with Night Raid. Her heart was in pain when she had found that Sinbad had a girlfriend so she flew out from the palace to clear her mind to contemplate.

She was stood atop her danger beast and saw a figure sitting down on a rock. She decided to let off some fumes on this person and jumped down. She landed on the ground intimidatingly as she unsheathed her rapier ready for battle.

Esdeath: Yo-

Before she could say anything she instantly recognised the person that had been plaguing her mind for a few months already. She thought 'It's him'. Sinbad turned to her and flashed a bright innocent smile that made Esdeath almost forget that she was his enemy.
