83 Paradox

For as long as I could remember, I could never really fit in with anyone. I was constantly alone, whether that be in school or at home. People always seemed to find me odd, maybe it was because they found me extremely dull and boring. Frankly, I simply wasn't interested in the trending topics my classmates were into. Realising the fact that I couldn't fit in with anyone I decided to simply accept that status, I played the role of the loner all throughout middle school and up until my third year in high school.

But now I had finally found a place that I could belong, with people who never found me boring or dull. Even though it had only been a short period of time, the time I'd spent with them already surpassed any other moment in my school life. Yet here I was about to screw up again when it really mattered. In the heat of the moment, I had challenged someone who was way above my league. It was only now that I was beginning to see the repercussions of my decision.
