Chapter 004 - Instant Dungeon (Edited)

After Raido left home the system immediately prompts an interesting information.

[Instant Dungeon Detected 43 meters north from here.]

'Instant Dungeon? Are they different from normal dungeons?' Raido asked mentaly.

[Instant Dungeon is a dungeon that can only be entered by the system holder.]

Raido understands how big is this advantage as he doesn't need a party or register before entering a dungeon so he took his bike and pedal towards the instant dungeon. After a few minutes, Raido ended up in the park.

[Do you want to enter the dungeon? Once you enter you cannot exit until you defeat the boss. (Y),(N)]

Raido mentally chooses yes.

The scenery unrealistically changes from luscious green grasses and trees to dead creepy and foggy areas.

The bench and street lights are murky and covered with rust. The pond are filled with dead fish.

'Is this a horror movie or something?' Raido thought.

"Brains! Argh!" A zombie suddenly appeared behind Raido and lunged at him.

Raido dodge because the zombie said brains. "What is this Plants Vs Zombies?"

Raido runs some distance before shooting lightning from his palms. The zombie turned into dust and died.

[Zombie Killed! Earned 20 exp.]

Multiple Zombies appeared near the benches, They are really slow so they are Raido's natural prey as even without buffs his Slenderman body is already too fast for them though he will still be in trouble if he got caught in a swarm of them.

"Time to grind!" Raido said.

Raido spam lightning blast towards the zombies. It's really fun seeing lightning coming out of your hands and frying up zombies, the smell is not that good though. Raido reminded him to pack up some face masks before going to this dungeon again.

Raido continues his grinding until he realizes that he's been hunting zombies for quite a while but there is still no sign of the boss anywhere.

[MP: 500/2900]

He might have gone overboard and spent most of his MP here, but hey, he wants to enjoy this moment.

'Thanks to my job I received additional intelligence per level up.' Raido thought after seeing his stats improvement.

The normal zombies respawned again.

Raido wanted to save his MP in case the boss suddenly appeared, the hype of his first dungeon is gradually dropping so he's now thinking of strategy.

Stretching doesn't have any cost so he decided to take advantage of that skill.

[Stretching Activated]

Raido stretched his hand to be a sword as his cells moved to his will.

'Yosh! Arm blade here I go!' Raido said as he slash every zombie he saw. Blood and gore everywhere and clearly not a beautiful sight.

The fact that he can feel their rotten flesh directly is not helping. Raido wanted to puke but he hardened his will, he's a Slenderman for God's sake!

Thankfully, his grinding is proving effective.

'Fuck they are everywhere, did their spawn time lessen?' Raido noticed that the zombies increased as he continued to kill, at this point he would be swarmed by the zombies.

'I am getting tired, I will put some of my points to vitality and strength'

Raido quickly put 10 points in Strength, 20 points in vitality, and 10 points to sense.

Raido felt his stamina and strength got stronger, he can also feel the surroundings clearer as if his focus increases. Increasing his status is really addicting.

Earlier he is just cutting the zombies without minding what comes after, but right now he observes that if he cuts one zombie in half their body will fall but after a few seconds they will regenerate and become two.

'What kind of zombies multiplied if cut?' Raido questioned the system's integrity. Right now his mana only regenerates to 1000/3900.

The zombies' only weakness is elemental attacks, Raido his measly 23 strength can not blow out the zombie's head with a punch. He also doesn't have the option to cut it as they will continue to multiply and overwhelm him.

And even if he blows their heads with a punch he is not sure if they will not multiply again. His only choice is to kill them with lightning.

Raido spam lightning attacks to the zombies near him.

'500 more exp to level up, 500 mana left, I need 100mp for fog manipulation, 100mp for thunder Speed, I will save 300 mana just in case,' Raido calculated. The dungeon is getting harder and the facade of easy mode is gradually disappearing from his mind.

Right now he needs to formulate his strategy.

Raido used fog manipulation to hinder the vision of the zombies, then quickly used thunder speed increasing his speed and vision by 50 percent.

[Temporary status increase, Agility 38 -> 57, Sense 20 -> 30]

Raido quickly dashes while avoiding the zombies, he plans to hide until his mana fully regenerates, he didn't expect that this dungeon will be so tricky.

'It's perfect that I can see clearly in the fog, good racial trait," Raido said while he is resting on top of the dead tree. He used his stretching ability to mimic a branch.

'I'm just a lonely tree branch here, please don't notice me senpai,' Raido thought as he regulate his breathing.

Don't get him wrong, Raido can still fight but he doesn't like pain, who does, he rather play it safe.

[Thunder Speed Expired]

[Status down, Agility 57 -> 38, Sense 30->20]

After a few minutes of being a lonely tree brach, Raido successfully manages to fully regain his MP.

[HP: 4500/4500]

[MP: 3900/3900]

'I need 500 exp, so 50 zombies will suffice to level me up. Each zombie needs one lightning blast that costs 50 MP, 2500MP to kill 50 zombies,' Raido thought.

Raido started his plan.

Multiple sounds of lightning reverberated in the surrounding area as Raido carefully attacked the zombies while watching his surroundings so he wouldn't get surrounded.

'That was tiring, There are more zombies than I counted' Raido thought seeing all of the zombies dead and none are spawning anymore.

Raido looked around and saw that the zombies are respawning again, "Come on! Where is the boss!"
