1 New student

It was just another day in Michael Watts's life; he woke up as usual, took a bath, dressed up and headed to school.

On his way towards school, he met up with his best bro; Joseph Stone and together they walked to school as they talked about various things when suddenly Joseph asked "hey Michael did you watch the news?"

"Nah, I don't usually watch that" Michael answered without giving it much thought

"Oh then, lemme fill you in. It was said the daughter of the world's richest man: Phillip Neumann will be attending our school"

"Oh how's that possible?" Michael asked clearly surprised by the news, he didn't expect such a rich kid join them. "Yeah, they said her dad wanted her to experience a common life but damn, I'm shocked she choose our school among all the others" Joseph answered, clearly ecstatic to hear the news.

"Yeah…" Michael said he didn't really care about all that stuff. Michael was a boy of 17 years of age, he stood at a height of 174cm he was of Asian origin and this was more prone due to his pale white skin and dark fuzzy hair. He had cold eyes to him which added more him very handsome but he didn't really care about all that stuff, he just focused on his studies and games, he was someone with a calm disposition and didn't talk much.

Joseph was the complete opposite of him, he stood at a height of 169cm, and he had tan skin, coupled with his brown hair shaved into a buzz cut and his black eyes. He was a hyperactive guy who talked a lot, always looking for the latest news around; he was a chill guy which always attracted people to him.

"But I kind of understand why she choose our school, after all, Mr. Phillip was born here in Orlando" Michael said suddenly. Hearing this, Joseph nodded as he remembered a previous article covering Phillip's past.

Michael's school went by the name, new age academy located next to Park Lake in Orlando, Florida. Currently he and Joseph were in their first year in high school.

"Anyway enough talk, let's walk faster or we might be late" Michael said in rushed tone, to this Joseph nodded as they increased their pace.

Moments later, they both arrived school and there was a commotion at the gate.

Seeing this, Joseph was surprised as he asked "what's going on here?"

"Oh this is because of the new student, you know Phillip Neumann's daughter. She just arrive school" answered some random guy.

"Oh shit, already!? How are we gonna get to class?" Joseph cursed out loud but Michael remained calmed as he overlooked the situation before he moved forward surprising Joseph. He moved forward, by-passing everyone before arriving before the reason of this commotion, the new student- Arianna Neumann.

Standing at a height of 168m, she had milky white skin and an hourglass body, well balanced breast and a plum ass. She had long flowing black hair and a pair of gold colored eyes, which made her look, extremely beautiful. Arianna had a bored expression on her face as she stared at the crowd before her eyes landed on Michael who stared right back at her before saying

"Please could you move inside you're causing a commotion"

"WOAHHH"

Everyone was shocked by what he said as they wondered; didn't he know who she was? Didn't he care? It was impossible to comprehend where he got the courage to talk to her, the daughter of the richest man in the world like that?

Hearing this, Arianna's bored expression changed into one of surprise as she stared at Michael intently. For the first time in her life, someone ignored her looks, status, everything about her and had the courage to come before her just to tell her to move? It was shocking and interesting as a smile formed on her face as she said

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll move in but could you show me the way?"

"Hmm… yeah sure" Michael said carelessly

And together they walked in, completely ignoring the crowd looking at them.

It didn't take long before they arrived inside the school's premises and Michael pointed in a certain direction as he said "there's the faculty office, go there to register yourself in and find out which class you're in. Well then, I'll be on my way" as he turned his back and walked up the stairs, heading to his class.

As Arianna watched him make his way up the stairs, her min couldn't but question 'just who is he? Well doesn't matter, I can just ask dad to find everything about him but if I do that… ah damn. Let's just hope we meet again, he's really interesting'

Soon, Michael arrive class and he walked in.

Immediately, most of the girls stopped what they were doing as they stared at him, an entranced expression on their face while others walked up to him and greeted him

"Good morning Michael"

"Hello Michael"

"Mornin' Michael, how you doing…?"

But Michael completely ignored them as he headed to his seat which was located close to the window. While the girls rather than feeling angry or sad, they were smiling. Anyone seeing this scene will wonder if these girls have a problem up there.

Not even a second later, Joseph rushed into the class and looked left and right before his eyes landed on Michael. Seeing his best friend, Joseph immediately rushed to him and began touching him everywhere as he asked questions as though he were rapping "are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere? Did she torture after you took her in?" This clearly annoyed Michael as a tick mark appeared on his face as he said

"As you can see I'm perfectly fine Jose"

"Oh that's great to hear" Joseph said as he hugged Michael crocodile tears flowing down his eyes. Michael tried pushing him away but it was completely impossible as Joseph clung to him like glue but he soon broke up as not even a second later, a teacher walked into the class and seeing him, the students greeted

"Good morning sir" the teacher smiled before, he said

"Good morning students, I'm sure you've heard the news but today we got a new student and luckily this new student will be in this class this semester."

Hearing this, everyone was immensely surprise and ecstatic as they all knew the identity of the person the teacher was talking about, this wasn't the case for Michael as he stared indifferently at the door.

Before he turned his attention to the door then said "please step in" and immediately, she stepped in, a beauty among beauties, Arianna Neumann. With a smile on her face she walked into the class and stood beside the teacher.

"This is your new classmate, please introduce yourself" hearing this, Arianna prepared to speak but then her gaze landed on Michael and her smile grew wider as she introduced herself.

"My names are Arianna Neumann, I'm from Los Angeles and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance" to this everyone smiled. The teacher, Mr. Paul looked around the classroom for a place for her to sit and his eyes landed on a certain seat and coincidently it was just in front of Michael's. With a smile on his face, he said

"Okay Mrs. Neumann, please take the seat just in front of Mr. Watts's own" Arianna nodded to this before making her way towards the empty and as soon as she sat down, she turned behind and look at Michael with a smile as she said

"I'll be in your care Mr. Watts" but she was only met with silence as Michael didn't spare her a glance. This shocked everyone in the room especially Joseph who was sweating bullets. Arianna's smile turned awkward as she stared at Michael, though she didn't admit it externally, Michael's behavior hurt her pride but rather than upsetting her, it just made her all the more interested in him as she thought 'I have to make sure, dad never finds out about this' just imagining her dad finding out, made shivers run down her spine after all, Phillip Neumann was a quite doting and overprotective parent.

"With that out of the way, we shall begin class" Mr. Paul said before he began the lectures prompting everyone to focus.

Hearing the bell's sound, the last teacher finally ended his lecture and walked out of class causing all the students to sigh in relief as this marked the end of today's lessons and it was time to head home.

Michael didn't waste a second as he began packing his things up but he soon stopped as a hand smashed against his locker. Seeing the feminine hand on his hand, he could easily guess the perpetrator as he looked upwards and met Arianna's gaze, sighing in exhaustion he asked "is something the matter, Mrs. Neumann?"

"Yes, I'll like to have a talk with you in private" Arianna said but Michael was slightly dumbfounded as he asked "why can't we have it here?"

"Because it's something not just anyone can hear, so please could just spare me a few minutes of your time, Mr. Watts" hearing this and seeing Arianna's pleading eyes, Michael sighed as he said "okay but you got 5 minutes, that okay?"

"Yes of course" Arianna answered, overjoyed by the news "let's go somewhere we can talk" She said in a rushed tone as she took a hold of his hand. Before Michael could make sense of anything, he found himself running with his hand wrapped around hers. A sigh escaped his mouth as he followed along, not wishing to waste his energy asking questions in this kind of situation.

Soon, they arrived the school's football stadium and it was empty. Seeing the empty stadium, a shocked expression appeared on Michael's face after all it was on Monday and usually the stadium was used by the drama club for their practice but seems it wasn't the case. As he pondered on the reason why, his eyes landed on Arianna and at this pint he finally recalled her identity, the daughter of the world's richest and it all began to make sense, she surely cleared out the area for their talk but then he also recalled the way he acted towards her today and as the memories flowed in, he realized, he fucked up big time and not a second later, fear gripped him as he began wondering 'what's she going to do to me? Did she call me here to kill me? Is this the end for me? Am I going to die? No I can't die, I haven't accomplished anything'

Arianna was unable to notice Michael's fear stricken face as she admired the stadium, a satisfied smile on her face as she recalled how she told her bodyguards to find her a suitable place so as to have this talk with Michael, who unbeknownst to her was being delusional. After taking in the fresh air, Arianna finally realized that her hand was holding onto something thus she pressed unto it and she felt not only how strong it was but also how big it was and she finally realized, she had been holding Michael's hand all this while. Immediately, she let go as her face turned red.

Michael realizing he was finally free from her hand, thought of what he should do and not even a second a later, he came to a conclusion as he bowed to her and shouted

"Mrs. Arianna Neumann, please forgive me for my earlier disrespect, I was completely unaware of your status and simply acted like I felt, please do forgive me for showing you such an unsightly sight. You can do anything you want to me but please spare my life and my family's own too"

Arianna seeing him on his knees was completely dumbfounded but then it hit her that he must have misunderstood her so without wasting a second, she rushed towards him and said

"No please stand up, I didn't call you here to kill you or do anything of the sort and don't worry about anything that happened today, I don't really mind, heck it was kind of refreshing"

Hearing this, Michael was slightly dumbfounded as he asked "then why did you call me here?" hearing this, Arianna began fidgeting as her cheeks turned beet red before she mustered all the courage she had and shouted

"I'LL LIKE YOU TO BE MY FRIEND"

This phrase marked the beginning of a beautiful love story…
