Prologue

It has been 100 years since the meteor fell on Earth, changing all of life and how we viewed it.

When the meteor was first discovered, all of the officials who knew were panicking.

The meteor was half the size of Earth, and if it collided with Earth, it would destroy it and the life on it for sure.

When the news was leaked, the world went into chaos. People were going crazy and stopped following the laws, after all, the world was going to end. Before, there were many alerts of the world ending, but this time, it was true and imminent. People were taking what they wanted, whenever they wanted, where ever they wanted.

All of the big countries got together to try and combine firepower to blast the meteor to pieces. It was their last hope.

When the meteor could be seen, hurtling through the atmosphere glowing red, they launched all of the firepower they had towards the meteor. When it struck the surface of the meteor, it unexpectedly did not blow up.

The missiles and atomic bombs seemed to disappear upon contact, and the world fell into despair, their last bit of hope gone.

No matter how the missiles disappeared, their world was still going to end.

When the meteor was thousands of miles above the ground, it split into seven pieces. When it cracked, the interior of the meteor turned out to be a myriad of glowing, swirling colors. Each piece headed to one continent, right before it hit, it turned into a powder that sparkled and spread throughout the continent.

That powder gave the world magic.

Trees grew rapidly and grew strange fruits, animals started to talk and became impossibly strong, insects grew or became magical, humans gained knowledge and superhuman abilities, the world had energy that could be used to fly, strengthen and more.

The continents broke into pieces, reshaping as the tectonic plates shifted.

The world grew by 50%, due to the addition of the meteorite.

Air was cleaned and the soil became nutrient-rich, new magical materials appeared deep in the Earth, waste plastic was turned back into organic material, the atmosphere was restored and became a little bit thicker.

The world became more healthy, and the effects from humans were reversed.

People realized how beautiful the world was and vowed not to needlessly destroy it like they and their ancestors before had.

Inventors used some of the newly found materials to create magical tools that could do many things, like flying, harnessing the power of the newfound magic in the air.

The digital world progressed too, those virtual reality books came true, people could sense, taste, hear, and feel in the virtual world through helmets or glasses.

Holograms popped up and all devices had immense of space.

The world improved and was moving along peacefully until powers rose from every continent, battling each other for land and inventions.

Countries dissolved while kingdoms and empires rose.

Absolute power was the new law.
