1 Blood Stained Wind

Whenever she closed her eyes these days, she would see a dream.

A dream of a foreign place and yet it was familiar to her.

She was in an abandoned alley, no signs of life not even any movements from small creatures of the night.

A heavy gust of wind with a strong trace of blood.

An irie feeling, she knew something was wrong and yet she still rushed to the source of the smell. What is it? What happened?

Why does she want to know so badly?

Where is she?

Lila understood even without looking around that she was not familiar with this place. She has never been here before and yet why can she navigate so well?

Soon she stopped out of the alley and appeared in a housing district. It was quiet, too quiet. While there were many houses, Lila felt uneasy. It felt like she was the only one in this place, wherever it is. She and whoever caused that blood trace to appear.

Soon she spotted a shadow, Lila reflectively kicked the person but she immediately stopped when she saw who it was. "Kiryu?"

It was Kiryu, the person she looked for this entire time.

"This is great! Everybody has missed you."

I missed you the most.

It did not occur to her to ask him what he was doing in this place or where this was. All she cared about was that she could finally see him again.

"Lets go back!" Lila rushed towards him but in the next second she felt a mullet at her head.

"Go home or you will die."

...

Lila bolted up and broke out into cold sweat and she deeply exhaled. It took her a moment to look at her surroundings and realize where she was.

In Star Town and in her current residence that she shared with her other companions.

It seems like she still cant forget what happened. She buried her face in her hands. "Kiryu.."

The fragments from that dream of a few minutes ago remained in her head. Austin Kiryu was her childhood friend and former sweetheart, but after certain events that led to them breaking up they remained good friends. The last time she saw him he was covered in blood.

'Forget me.' That two words contained a trace of pain and loneliness, despite the malice in his eyes.

Where did he go?

Why did he take that child with him?

That child, the child who she did not get a chance to hold before Kiryu took her.

Her child… Lila deeply sighed.

So many questions sprung to her mind but she still had no answers. Her gaze darted towards the calender on her right. Monday July 1st… To think so much time has passed since she last saw her husband, forget Kiryu for a moment. She should have contacted Haruka when things settled down here.

Karashima no Kanagawa Haruka, her husband influential figure in the entertainment industry. He also had another identity. He was the right hand of the man who caused this mess in the first place.

Her gaze darted towards the window sealed of by planks of wood. She knew even if she were to tear it away, the gloomy sight outside would not have changed.

Her name is Kanagawa Lila and she is eighteen years old. The second daughter of the world wide known singers Terashima Sumire and Terashima Yuhi. Also, she extended her hand out and a swirl of mist trailed from her fingers. The daughter who will succeed this line. This is a world where the abnormal becomes the norm, where myths become reality.

A world where humans with unusual genetics and blood have unusual abilities - yes they have what others would refer to as supernatural powers.

Lila somehow managed to stand up despite how weak she felt. Her gaze fell on her reflection in the mirror, her face as white as a ghost. For a moment Lila blinked puzzled when she felt a pounding pain in her head, accompanied by the sound of her her rapid heart beat.

"Ahhh! What are you doing getting up for?" A familiar voice exclaimed. She turned to the source of the voice to find a man with brown curly hair and dark coloured eyes. "Really Lila-chan, you need to take care of yourself more."

"Shougo."

This man is Maon Shougo, one of the members of the male idol group God5.

"Such a stupid woman." A scowling figure entered the room. Grey coloured hair and light coloured eyes. Iwa Eijiro, also a member of the male idol group God5 also her best friends brother.

"Eijiro, good morning." Lila managed to say.

"Its noon." He sighed. "You slept all morning dofous."

"Um, right." Lila looked absent mindly around the room. She was still half asleep. It felt like somebody ripped her out of that dream deliberately. "Say where is Shichiro and Wataru?" Those two were the other members of the male idol group God5.

When she first returned from New York to Star Town, she was very careless. She did not realize how bad the state of the town was until she arrived. It was a war zone, everything was abandoned. No trace of the usual bright and coloured streets. Everything was grey, cold and abandoned.

A pregnant woman walking around in such a dangerous place, it was risky. She came here in a rush too. Thankfully the guys appeared and saved her. Since then she stayed with them. Initially they wanted to bring her to her home but she was pregnant and the manor was on the other side of town.

These people are her good friends and also his friend, that was why Lila knew she would be safe if she remained with them.

"They heard rumors about somebody spotting Kyoko-san."

Lila understood even without an explanation. Her sister Terashima Kyoko, during this peril time the only one who could save them is her. Unlike herself and their mother, her sister has no trace of darkness in her abilities - her powers are pure light. The one who saved them from a crisis the last time was her sister.

"So many people are searching for her though. I dont think she will openly show herself."

Eijiro nodded. "I agree there. It does seem like she appeared during the stadium incident but that was two months ago."

The stadium huh? The stadium where everybody was practicing, all the participants of the Dream Stars tournament. Two months ago the stadium completely disappeared, it was annihilated on the spot. Scientists say that the earth below gave out, but then why is there no trace of the dome? Where did everybody go?

Lila placed her hand across her right eye unconsciously. It felt hotter than usual.

"Are you alright? Do you need--" Eijiro struggled to say the words blood.

Even though they are both hanyous. It seems like Eijiro has a hard time adjusting to the particular needs of their race. It was the same for her husband too.

"I am alright. But." She laughed sheepishly. "I am a bit hungry."

At that comment Shougo spoke up, and beamed. "Today I made some special Maon karage!"

"Meat?"

Shougo nodded. "Yeah we managed to get some."

"You managed to get some?" Lila repeated his vague words. "Did we receive another mysterious package?"

Every week or every few days they receive a mysterious package with goods. Different sort of foods, and things to keep them entertained. It seemed like before she came here, this package never arrived. So the one who sent it is doing it for her.

"Yeah and there were so much this time too." Shougo seemed excited.

Eijiro however wore a dim look on his face. "Whoever is sending this stuff must be from the enemy camp. I mean they are the only ones who has access to anything luxurious right now."

Indeed, this was why she was suspicious at first. But then more and more packages came. Among them were her favourite books, this person understood her very well. Her likes and dislikes, he seemed to understand everything. Lila bit her lip. For awhile now she suspected who the sender was. How many people know her this well? Only a limited few.

At first Lila assumed it was her husband, but then that book arrived. When she saw that book, the mysterious sender practically gave away their identity. Who else would it be other than Kiryu?

There is one thing she does not understand. If Kiryu is doing this, then why is he not here beside her?
