1 Talk of the Devil

"Come on you can tell us" Paityn urged the other girls giggled

"Yes, tell us which one is cutest to you?" Becca pushed

Sienna groaned "I can't believe I am spending my lunchtime talking about cute boys in magazines with you guys seriously?"

she found the whole conversation boring as not holding anything interesting to her at all,

The other girls laughed at her crowding around the desk in a huddle

A glossy teen magazine displayed on the desktop screen filled with photos of the world's hottest boy bands to date

Sienna really didn't like boy bands to be honest but it seemed that now a new era had begun

in Planet Prylea's music world,

boy bands were taking over and it was driving all her school mates' boy crazy

"Come on one of them urged you've got, Aquila Outlaws, Starry Mist, not to mention SKIZ3!"

Becca sighed "I just adore Eric Kailan he's so hot I would give anything to be Selestia Lyn right now"

jeez, can she be anymore overdramatic? sienna wondered

The other girls agreed with her on the current popular power couple in the pop music scene at the moment

Sienna just crossed her legs and rolled her eyes

"Niall from FALCON DRIVE is my bias no one on this planet is cuter than him" Paityn gushed

"See how easy that was se-se?" Becca insisted "we've all confessed it's just us girls and we won't spill so you tell us which of them is your crush"

"Ok fine!" Sienna agreed pretending to give in to them "actually I don't like any of them I don't like boy bands" she stated in a bored tone

Paityn gave her an incredulous look

"You can't be serious but it's all about boy bands these days I mean their songs are all over the Star Streams"

Sienna shrugged she really didn't care

" they're cute, but not really my thing, I like music that has more substance,

all they sing about is being with cute girls and being somebody's boyfriend,

partying on some exotic planet and that's been done to death

since way back in the days even since Earth 1" she reasoned

Paityn pouted "spoilsport you're no fun se-se! it because you're a kid born to parents from the Earth 1 Generation"

"Ok, whatever, she doesn't like boy bands, fine" Becca said

"it makes sense in a way too you know sometimes the guys in the bands do turn out to be gay or into weird alien girls, right?"

The other girls made outraged sounds of protest

Sienna covered her mouth with her hand trying to stifle the laughter that was bubbling to come out

"Oh no, how could you? none of them are gay

they all protested one way or another

Paityn scowled and gave her the don't -you -dare -start –with- me look

"at least they haven't admitted it yet, and none of them have dated either humans or aliens

so lets us just keep our fantasies ok, for the time being anyway, I don't care they are all so cute and droll worthy"

The girls erupted into more giggles and whispers "so what's your type Sienna?" Becca asked

She smiled faintly pushing her hair back behind her ear with one hand

sienna sighed

" fine, my dream guy has to be nice and tall with long legs,

and sexy hips that look great in leather pants

he needs to have some muscles with a nice figure,

he has dark hair that falls into his eyes,

and his eyes are either green or brown, I also don't like guys from boy bands because they are too pretty I mean look at them,

who would notice you if you're standing next to a guy that's prettier than you are?

and you're a girl, that would make me feel really self-conscious an inferiority complex waiting to happen

No, my guy is going to be good looking but not pretty and I like a guy who can wear a little scruff on his jaw and still look cool"

she sighed wistfully "and I hope he has a nice voice, the type of guy who would sing to me and

who's really thoughtful mature intelligent and sensitive and passionate and funny too he has to make me laugh that's the kind of guy I like"

"You're attracted to older guys" Paityn blurted out in realization

"No they don't have to be older!" she said rolling her eyes

The other girls laughed

"Well where are you going to find a boy our age who already has facial hair?" she pointed out

And who's thoughtful and funny Becca added

And who looks cool and handsome another girl pointed out

and who is mature and intelligent another added

drawing the girls attention to a group of still smooth-faced dorky boys their own age

goofing off as usual on the other side of the classroom

all the girls made faces of disgust there wasn't a single good-looking mature boy in the whole lot of them

Becca reached down and swiped the screen scrolling through to a new set of photos

"I think she's talking about boys more like these "

on the screen was a photo of a rock band dressed all in black dystopian style outfits

the popular trend these days of ragged looking clothing was the new cool

they were all young adults too but looked more mature than the ones from the boy bands

"Who are they ?" Sienna asked a skeptical tone

"They are a new upcoming band on the rock music scene called Silver Shadows"

Becca answered they are a little mature for our taste but I'm guessing this is more your type se-se"

She nodded as she gazed down at the photo the members of the band were all good-looking mature guys but

the band's lead singer was the opposite of her dream guy,

For one thing, he had blond hair,

In a shade that had to be bleached out, it was nearly snow-white in color

and was longer and wilder looking like a mane that fell around his face and over a pair of mysterious vivid blue eyes

he was good looking too, gorgeous in fact,

thick arching eyebrows, a nose so straight and strong it looked like it belonged on the face of someone of royalty

giving his face a rather arrogant look

a powerfully cut jawline so sharp and distinct it could be a blade's edge

cheekbones that jutted out his face added a kind of delicacy to his fierce features

and full sensual lips,

she had never seen a guy so handsome or who oozed so much sex appeal

And there was something captivating about his blue eyes,

They held shadows like a dark secret he kept hidden behind them that made her wonder just what that secret was

He had the required facial hair a faint blond scruff that made him look a little rough around the edges,

in the photo, he was wearing a pair of tight black ripped jeans

and a long-sleeved black shirt filled with holes

that clung to his shoulder's arms and chest just enough to outline his muscles in a sexy way so you knew he had some muscular definition hiding under his shirt

Despite his bright hair, the expression on his face and in his gaze gave her a sense he was darker than he appeared to be

The other guys in the band were all good looking too in their own way they each had their own thing going on

but their lead singer really stood out there was something very compelling about him

"So se-se?"

Becca nudging her in the side with her elbow

sienna she feigned disinterest answered flippantly

"everything else is fine his eyes are pretty but his hair is all wrong"

she said way too much hair bleaching for me its a wonder his hair is not fried

The other girls all groaned " se-se you're too picky" one of the girls complained

finally, the notification AI announced the end of lunch throughout the school and that was the end of the conversation

for the time being anyways the girls, all said goodbye and went off to their various classes

Becca ran off to hers and Sienna clicked the screen closed with a tap of her finger

and a shake of her head the girls were all really silly

as the other students from her class filed in and took their seats.
