9 Shopping and frenenemies

Sienna stood on the forecourt at the entrance of GALAXY FASHIONS in the second level district the next day

Kanna and melody stood on either side of her as they were

watching the display screens, advertising various fashion outfits and styles available in store flashed by

"We are going to have so much fun today giving you a makeover," Melody said with a grin

"yea Daisuke won't be able to stay away from you after today," Kanna said with a giggle

sienna blushed at the thought

Kanna and melody took her by the arm and the three girls entered the mall

they walked among the other people that crowded the mall's cold hallways

storefronts lit up with bright holo-screens and neon lights

advertising their products

while cold air circulated through the buildings air conduits cooling everything including the oxygen they all breathed

A.I sales girls populated most display windows moving mannequins that resembled humans

struck various poses gestures and movements in various fashions

meant to entice customers to come buy the stores offerings

Sienna? a voice called out to her she looked around and her heart dropped

into her feet, it was Paityn and Becca they were walking arm in arm with each other

Each was carrying a drink in hand bought from a café nearby

"So is this why you f***ing ditch us all the time?"

because you have cooler friends from the second level you'd rather hang out with?" Becca questioned

"you could of just said you don't want to be f***ing friends with us in the first place you ungrateful b***h!" Paityn said

"who the f*** are these girls?" Kanna asked in disbelief

"We are her school friends," Paityn said

"or so we thought" Becca added

"seems like you two are more important to her than we are," Paityn said snidely

sienna gasped in shock

"so what if we are?" melody said, "is there any reason for you girls to speak to her so rudely ?"

"you guys are only friends now because you go to school together,

but outside of school do you even really know each other?

when you guys graduate soon you will all go your separate ways and become strangers,

and you'll never see each other again that is the reality" Kanna added

"so stop acting petty like if you have some kind of deep friendship and you feel oh so betrayed by the fact that she has other friends

sienna has not done anything wrong we arranged to go shopping with her today it has nothing to do with you guys"

"that's exactly the problem here!" Paityn stated, "she doesn't share anything with us about her life with us!"

"even though we are her friends she doesn't hang out with us and ditches us as she pleases

that's not our fault, we aren't the ones keeping secrets here, all we are asking for is to be treated like her real friends!"

"look we don't have time for this" melody said impatiently "this drama is so immature right now

and we came shopping for an important reason"

"let's get going guys" she took sienna's arm and pulled her away as the three girls walked away

"I knew something was going on with you! are you shopping because of a date with a man?"

Becca yelled drawing everyone in the mall's attention

"What? No!" sienna protested turning around and stopping in her tracks "it's not a date!

why do you guys always jump to the conclusion that everything is about dating? or chasing some cute boy?"

"There are way more important things in life going on besides boys

can you guys please get with reality!"

Sienna was getting so tired of this

"Fess up sienna what's going on?" Paityn demanded

Sienna sighed why did she have to tell them anything she wondered its not any of their business

"I have an important job interview and I need to look nice" she explained

"Why would you be looking for a job? aren't you a high school student?

"what's really going with you Sienna?" Becca demanded not believing her

"I always worked" sienna shot back "I usually do during vacation breaks from school

I have to, I'm not like you guys, who can just live a carefree life and not worry about anything,"

"Why not I mean aren't your parents supposed to be taking care of you?" Paityn asked

"I don't have parents they took off and left me here OK!" Sienna responded

Becca's mouth opened and closed in shock

"You were abandoned? should have told us" Paityn said in shock

"And you guys would have done what exactly?" sienna asked

"We could help you" Becca insisted

"Yea we could give you money, food and clothes and such" Paityn offered

"Really? the two of you are going to provide for her? when you can't even provide for yourselves?"

melody responded arching an eyebrow

"Face reality, your parents are the ones responsible for taking care of you, not yourselves,

and neither of you can take care of sienna for the rest of her life"

"she has to do that for herself" Kanna added "really you two are living in a dream if you can't comprehend that much about the world"

"your parents must really shelter you guys"

"so we are sheltered, while you two are not and that makes you better than us?" Paityn shot back

"you're no different from us! you're still friends of an abandoned kid

you're the ones taking care of her, aren't you? so what? your parents are so f***ing rich they have no problem letting you guys take her in? but we cant?"

"that's not fair, we got money too if that's what she needs" Becca added "we are the same as you two"

both melody and Kanna looked at each other and started laughing

"Are you guys stupid? "Kanna asked "We don't have parents either sweethearts"

"We are also kids who are living independently and taking care of ourselves," Melody said

"you guys are abandoned, kids? "Becca said in disbelief "but you're dressed head to toe in expensive designer wear? b***h please! how is that possible?"

melody rolled her eyes "that's why we have jobs sweety or are abandoned kids not normal people? is that what you mean?"

"so we can't dress up and wear designer gear like everybody else because we were abandoned and poor?" Kanna said

"should we live homeless on the street begging people like you guys on the corners for money?

aren't we allowed to live well and eat good food and live in nice homes too? what kind of discriminatory mindset is that?"

both girls wore shocked expressions on their faces

"We aren't even from Prylea I'm from speed planet and she's from water planet" Kanna pointed to Melody as she spoke

"and we made it on our own, we can proudly say that being abandoned does not define our future or who we become, we also have dreams and the right to live, same as you"

"and sienna is from Earth 2, " Melody said "and she also doesn't have to let her abandonment define her future either, because she also has dreams, as her friends, of course, we will make sure to help her"

"We three are the same," Kanna said "we are all kids who have no parents and came from across the galaxy and met here on Prylea and became friends, sienna will be successful and independent just like us very soon, she doesn't need pity or handouts from girls like you, this is something to which you sheltered babies could never relate,"

"run along back to your carefree lives in your precious bubble excuse us," Melody said

the three girls left the other two standing there in complete shock.

sienna stood nervously on a small stage hidden behind drapes examining herself in the mirror behind her

one last time before the stylist used the remote to open the drapes revealing her to the waiting Melody and Kanna

"oh my god, sienna look at you!" Melody cried in delight as they finally saw her in her fully completed makeover

her plain brown hair was now transformed into a vivid and beautiful blend of colors purple-blue and pink

fell in lush curls and waves down her back

she was dressed in a designer outfit, a leather pink dress

with a halter necked collar and long sleeves, that had geometrically shaped cutouts all down her arms

and white ankle-high boots with heels

the dress clung and molded to her body showing off her curves ending at mid-thigh

so her gorgeous legs were shown off to perfection

Kanna screeched and clapped her hands "yes girl, this is it! you look so hot!

oh my gosh, this was such a good decision to bring you out shopping!"

sienna flushed and grinned "I feel like I'm really pretty now," she said shyly

"oh sweety you've always been pretty!" melody said "you just needed to have the confidence to show it off and let yourself shine"

"turn around let see how it looks from the back!"

sienna turned around and Kanna grabbed melody and released a cackle

"the dress was backless all the way down to the small of her spine right above the rise of her buttocks with leather straps that crisscrossed sienna's back showing off her unblemished white skin

the collar of the dress was actually a halter choker with a gold chain accessory attached encircling her neck

that matched the gold chains also attached on both sides of the hips emphasizing her small waist

and the sexy curve of her hips at the same time

we are getting her this outfit Kanna said to the stylist next please

moments later sienna reappeared wearing a blue leather top with silver plating hugging her bust in faux armor

with a matching blue leather high waist shorts

black combat boots and a long black hooded cloak jacket in the dystopian style

was worn over it

"dam that's hot! we are taking this one too" melody said "next outfit, please"

Kanna and Melody had Sienna try out many more outfits

sienna having such a petite and curvy figure looked fabulous in almost everything she tried on

including a swimsuit style bodysuit that sienna felt was way too exposing for her to ever wear even with a long

coat over it like melody had suggested but the ever bold Kanna went ahead and bought it for herself along with thigh-high boots

with her more glamorous and lush full figure the blue-haired girl's assets

looked like they were on the verge of spilling out of it with every move she made

in an almost indecent manner which sienna pointed out the outfit looked like it was too small on her lush body

Kanna proudly responded that was entirely the whole point of the outfit much to Melody's amusement

the three girls finished shopping carrying a large assortment of bags

as they left the salon wearing new outfits

sienna wearing a metallic silver dystopian micro dress

black leather booty shorts underneath and black thigh-high combat boots

with silver buckles going up the sides and

silver plated platform heels

Kanna wore her new bodysuit with a dystopian style coat that hung open to show off her body

and black thigh high boots while Melody

wore a purple skin-tight bodysuit with geometric shape cutouts on the top

making it into a swimsuit like style and a camouflage pattern going down the sides of the legs on the low rise pants bottoms

that were molded to her long legs like second skin ending in a pair

of white ankle-high combat boots, a denim white cropped jacket covered her bare shoulders

"let's do lunch before we go home" Kanna suggested making a call they

waited outside the mall as a shiny black horizon plane dropped in from the air above

"oh my gosh!" sienna cried in shock as the planes four doors opened lifting into the air

revealing Kaleb in the navigator seat grinning at them with Liam riding shotgun
