Not Looking Back Filming

they arrived at the Arena leaving the plane parked they entered the sports venue

going to the front desk where a girl wearing a colorful T-shirt with the arenas logo

"Hi we are here for" Kanna began

they were interrupted by a man wearing a T-shirt

that read staff on it cut in front of them

"hi, you're the band Silver Shadows right? come with me" he said

"Thanks," Kanna said they followed the man through the hallway that

was decorated with team posters and sports memorabilia on the walls

getting on an elevator and went up to the next floor stepping out into a hallway decorated with Crimson Stars players posters on the walls

and a white flag with red stars in the dragon constellation in the center and the team's name emblazoned hung proudly from the ceiling

they where they led to a door that read Crimson Stars

it opened up to a large locker room where lots of people were waiting

Hi, again you guys!! they were greeted by Niaomi and her stylist team and the video staff from earlier and the star championship League Lazor Ball team Crimson Stars

all eighteen members were present

Daisuke grinned "hello every one we are Silver Shadows"

"it's nice to meet you all" he introduced the band members to the team

"thank you for agreeing to be in our music video"

Kanna was grinning from ear to ear so excited she was bouncing on her toes

"welcome Silver Shadows we are happy to meet you we are the Crimson Stars Lazer Ball Team I'm

Max Ramos, the team captain"

"Joel Dani, and Nash Mansouri" Kanna cried cutting him off "the three super strikers of Crimson stars"

she squealed "I'm a huge fan of this team since day one"

the team members grinned and greeted her they shook her hand

Max Ramos the team captain a handsome dude with curly fiery red hair and green eyes and a friendly easy-going personality

and Nash co-Captain with his half black half purple hair

and bright lime green eyes of someone from Zengale a planet that its people were known to be related to

avian races at some time in their far past causing their people to have unique eye and hair colors like those of tropical birds

making them into very beautiful and colorful looking people

strong square jaw and full lips and thick arching purple eyebrows and beautifully tanned golden brown skin

he grinned as he spoke

"We know Kanna actually we are fans of you guys too thats, why we agreed to do this, we knew you a long time ago, you used to come to the arena very often to watch our games, and would cheer us on very enthusiastically"

"yup!" max said nodding "you were one of the first fans

that we noticed who were really passionate about us, you made us realize that there were people who believed in us,

you gave us a lot of encouragement back then that really motivated the team

to make it to the championship league

so when we saw that you had debuted with a band I personally felt very

happy for you too that a fan of ours who supported us

so much was now able to find success herself it made me feel good to see that

we can now cheer you on too and return the support we received from you"

"oh wow!" Kanna gasped in surprise "I didn't realize you guys knew me that well!

or had noticed me at all, I was just one of many fans of the team from the neighborhood back

then I feel like I behaved shamelessly at games on my worst behavior,

I feel so embarrassed when I think about it, honestly, I used to yell at other fans and curse the members of other teams and stuff I'm so sorry"

Joel laughed "yes you did but you always did so to defend us you were the one who even caused this moment" he turned on a holo screen on the wall behind him and on it began to play a video

"craziest fan moments that happened during Lazor Ball games, the narrator said number 1 moment mass food fight that occurred in the arena when two female fans were having an argument over a foul that was called by a biased referee"

the video played there was a much younger Kanna yelling across the arena at another girl on the other side of the arena

a supporter of the opposing team who was also yelling back and arguing she got mad at Kanna and flung her cup of drink however it was

too far a distance to reach to hit Kanna from across the arena and the cup of drink instead fall short and spilled all over two of the Crimson Stars players on the field below

Kanna who had been eating a buster burger in the stands at the time before the argument began had the burger sitting on a plate on her seat's tabletop next to her

infuriated Kanna grabbed her half-eaten burger and flung it at the

the nearest player of the opposing team on the field the burger hit him splat in the face covering the

unsuspecting players face with grease ketchup and her food

and then just like that, the enraged fans around them erupted

and everyone was hurling food and drinks across the arena at each other

it was insanity a near riot and the game was stopped for an hour to calm

down the fans and clean up the mess the arena had become as a swarm of bots rolled out onto the field

the crimson stars had gone on to win the game in the end

"oh my gosh!" sienna gasped she and the members of the band were all laughing

along with some members of the staff who had not seen the video before

"Kanna I can't believe you had such an iconic moment in the arena it's even number 1

for the whole galaxy to see!"Melody gasped

"my goodness! no wonder they remember you!"

Kanna was flushed red embarrassed "back then Kaleb and I had just immigrated to Prylea

going to the games was a way to blow off steam and relieve my stress

I was having a hard time and it felt good to be able to have some place to let it out

I would act like a banshee and scream my head off cheering sometimes till I didn't have a voice anymore"

"we won whenever you came to the arena I came to think of you as a good luck charm actually," Max said with a smile

"I would even find myself looking for you in the stands sometimes too"

"I didn't know you noticed me at all," she said shaking her head

"well I'm glad my bad behavior was a positive thing to you at least my gosh I was really awful back then," Kanna said

"But you were like a beacon for us," Max said "thats why when we got the call from Eclipse about being in your music video I said yes right away I felt like you didn't forget about us"

"I didn't I always watch your games at home on the holo screen even though I haven't been to the arena I never miss a game"

"actually, Kanna and I watched one of your games recently," Sienna said "because

I had never been to the arena or saw a game before but we didn't have time to come to

watch it in person, we were finishing our album,

I didn't even know what Lazor Ball was till I watched it for the first time you guys are amazing athletes"

he offered his hand "very happy to help you out" he shook Siennas hand "you're a great songwriter

your lyrics are really meaningful great message very strong vibe it's lit

what you guys are doing means something to the

kids out there who are struggling to live in this galaxy" Max said

"you guys have a good solid reason to do what you're doing

you have the potential to touch and make a positive impact on the lives of many

so it's also something we can get behind, we also have hopes that our playing of the game

also has a positive impact on others too, we also are a team that struggled to climb up

from nothing, so we understand you guys and the message is your songs is important

for everyone to hear especially the kids so let's do this right and make them a truly inspiring music video

we already came up with a great idea for it after talking to your video director I hope you guys don't mind?"

"no, it's ok" Daisuke said "thank you we are willing the hear whatever ideas you have that can help us"

"well let's get to it then," the video director said

  everyone sat down around a large whiteboard as he explained the things that were on it so far

the lyrics of your song is about perseverance to reach a certain goal or dream and there are

people in your way doing all kinds of things to prevent you from reaching it including tearing

down your dream undermining your confidence telling you that you cant do it but the will to

achieve your goal must come from within you must go against everything and everyone

you must fight your way through everything in your way past all kinds of obstacles and hardship to attain it

so I thought that using Lazer Ball to show that was an especially smart idea actually

since that describes the sport perfectly

so for your music video, we will have a Lazor ball game with high stakes a championship

there will be two teams one team that

represents the ones trying to stop you all the haters and obstacles and hardship they will be representing that

and you guys will be on the other team you guys will facing them and going to war against them valiantly

fighting them to win the game the goal is to defeat the other team to tear them down no matter

what and showing that those things can be overcome the dream can be achieved thats the concept we are going with for with this video

however, we want to create a special moment Max added that will go into the video it will be a special moment that is meant to represent the achievement of success we want to make it into a scoring kick

that will be the highlight it will be a special kick that will be made to look flashy and amazing

as it flys into the goal so we wanted to hear from you guys what you think that kick should look like?

do you guys have any favorite moves from the players on the team that you like to see played on the field?

a dragon Kanna said I always thought that since you guys the mascot is the dragon star

constellation why don't you guys have a dragon kick?

a dragon kick? max said surprise how are we supposed to pull that off exactly?

what if you use three strikers in a formation she said it could be executed as a play on the field

depending on your positions

its just a fantasy play I made up using the triangle formation from your signature move

I really love your swirling wind kicks that make the ball go

spinning across the field with twirling whirlwinds streaking around the ball

so I thought what if you had it in three kicks one kick would start it with a swirling wind kick

from the left outfield across the field to the right outfield striker he would also kick a swirling wind

so then the whirlwinds would be doubled because each kick generates three tails but with two kicks around the ball it would have six whirlwinds making it more powerful and be really big and then you would kick it right to midfield

completing the triangle where you would then use silver stars kick to blast it home to the goal adding the streaking starry tail in the middle of the whirlwinds

it would be an unstoppable kick that would require everyone to do it together

it can be done Nash agreed we will have to rearrange our positions but its

possible to pull off we can call it Silver Dragon kick in honor of Silver Shadows

we could play it our next game too make it a new signature

and since its a play Nash said we could teach it to the entire team obviously

if we use it the first time in a game other teams will figure out they will have to defend against it

by breaking our formation

but if we make it that we can do it with any three kickers on the field

we can create a nearly endless set of signature kicks combos

they all won't be the dragon because they will change depending on the kickers and the combination used

but at its base, it will be our triangle just an updated version

wow Kaleb breathed you're a genius

thats why he's the co-captain of our team Max said proudly putting a hand on Nash's shoulder, master strategist

you guys will definitely win the championship this year with someone like him on the team Liam said

Joel gave him a thumbs up we won't let you down for sure we will bring that Galactic trophy home

okay so we have our new kick to work out guys Max said let's get on the field put it into play and see how it goes

theres also people in need of costumes makeup and all that stuff so we will practice in groups

and get all that done in turns also pay attention to the music video directors instructions

let's keep communication open guys this is also our first time being

in a music video, thats going to be shown to millions of people

all over the galaxy lets make our selves proud and be the best we can be

he's a good team captain sienna said softly naturally Daisuke said

Silver Shadows lets get you guys into costumes Niaomi said

before long the members of the band were dressed in

Lazor Ball body suits of black red and silver

the members of crimson stars had been split into two teams of nine each one team was the winners dressed in the same bodysuits that matched the bands red black and silver

the other team was dressed in blue white and gold bodysuits they would be the enemy team

everyone's makeup was done to make them look fierce and their hairstyles

were rowdy and rebellious wild-looking they all looked like they were ready to to go battle

when they also put on the high tech gear over the bodysuit they looked like old fashioned knights

only the boys wore the gear given that girls werent going to be actually playing the game

and the boys in the band were only going to be acting as if they were playing and being

helped by the members of Crimson Stars to film their scenes and make them look good

everyone was being led out to the field this is so cool we get to experience a Lazor ball game first hand

Kaleb said I think making music videos is amazing because we get to do cool stuff like this

we girls won't actually play though we have to cheer on the side it's you boys that

will get to do all the fun stuff on the field melody said pouting

I don't mind cheering Kanna said it's what I'm used to doing just ill be doing it on the field from the bench

guys how about we cheer using dancing? sienna suggested then maybe they will include it in the video

oh how about we use some of these? Kanna suggested picking up a crimson stars flag from a nearby bin

where a whole bunch of flags was haphazardly left in a pile

thats a great idea sienna agreed they both picked up flags and took them to the field

Daisuke looks like a beast in his suit and gear

Sienna said seeing the tall Huassain guy in a bodysuit that defined the powerful build of his body

making sienna not able to keep her eyes away from him

he looked so cool and handsome and with his hair flying in the wild style

the stylist had made he looked unruly and fierce

his Huassain nature was showing and it held her enthralled Daisuke

could feel the admiring gaze of his mate on him he looked

across the field to her and smiled she flushed beautifully smiling back

you two are so cute melody said sienna sighed happily nodding

all right everyone the video director said gather round

the teams got together the girls grabbed their flags joining them

as more people came out

oh wow, are they extras to fill the audience? Kanna asked

but these extras were all dressed in costumes too and

faces were painted in team colors creating two colorful angry mobs

actually yes the video director answered with a smile one crowd is enemy team supporters and hecklers

people who would try to criticize the youth and tear down their dreams

the video director explained the other crowd is to represent Silverwinds and the struggling youth

we are going to shoot a scene where everyone will gather on the field

and the two teams will charge at each other as if they are going to break

out in war thats the opening scene for the video

it starts out as war because everyone is already fighting from the beginning

this isn't new the things you're saying it wit as new there would be no such thing as a youth revolution

this is a topic that been talked about and fought over for a number of years and there seems to be no solution

just endless continued fighting but no true victory opening it like that will show the reality of what the youth are up against

we just want you guys to take up places on opposite sides of the field like two armies fly your flags roar at each other as if your about to go to war

and then the two sides rush into each other the crowds are all stunt actors so they will do what they do to make it look like a real battle

and may give you some instructions to just follow them

pretend to throw punches and stuff but don't hit anyone ok can we get that

oh goodness melody breathed everyone scattered to the field Liam grabbed Kanna come on let's do this get up on my shoulders he said

what? are you serious? she asked

I've always wanted to try this it will look awesome come on up you get he ducked between her legs and picked her up on his shoulders she gasped and clutched his hair in shock

as she found herself off her feet I might not be as buff as Daisuke but I got you he said confidentially

Kansas mouth was opened looking down at him grinning up at her legs dangling over his shoulders

he held her thighs in his large hands holding her steady now you wave that flag up there like mad

when we get in the crowd make it fly around a lot rally the troops he grinned and yell be fierce you'll look really really cool

she laughed nodding ok she agreed crazy but I like it the pair quickly went to join the crowd

well that was interesting Daisuke said I like it too, Sienna lets not be outdone we can make it look cooler I'm taller than Liam and I got these his eyes were glowing and fangs came out

yes let's do it she agreed with a grin and a moment later Daisuke had sienna up on his neck too

sienna hair had been styled to flutter like fire in the wind so it wasn't curled anymore

and now hung in straight but thick beautiful flows around her shoulders

they had redone her hair color making her hair more vibrant than before

she looked really lovely in the skin-tight bodysuit with her small gracefully curvy figure

giving off a completely different vibe than Kanna she looked more

like an ethnic beauty since with her hair in a new style her heritage was showing the way her eyes slanted beautifully and the paleness of her skin against

the black of her bodysuit was a strong contrast she looked more like an ethereal queen upon the shoulders of a fierce warrior king

when the camera picked her up wow whos idea was it to put the girls up high with those flags like that? the video director asked

that looks so good it's like exactly what was missing from the scene Kanna is a cyberpunk warmonger

but sienna looks really amazing especially with Daisuke looking like a lion with all that blond hair

they both look very ethnic it epitomizes race with these two this video is going to be a smash hit

all right everyone ready and action the director called with his megaphone

the two armies faced each other down yelling and taunting each other the girls waved their flags in the air letting the colors fly in the wind

and then the music began to play building into the opening of the song the two "armies" began to get more riled up and the intensity escalated

then the first drum beat dropped in the song and Daisuke's voice came on the two "armies" roared and ran towards each other and "attacked"

the stunt actors all began "fighting" all around them they suddenly ran into a group of "enemies" in their path

knock us down with the flags one of them yelled at the girls

the two girls screamed and swung their flags down

the men all "went down" before their sweeping flags and then they continued to barrel through the "enemy forces" like that

for a few minutes, chaos reigned on the field before the director yelled cut melody and Zane was a "fighting duo" husband and wife team

in the middle of tag-teaming, a stunt actor as the "battle" abruptly ended it was suddenly hilarious and she burst into laughter

Zane too was cracking up as people who were looking like they were trying to kill each other

went back to being ordinary people all of a sudden

that was insane Kanna cried as they rejoined everyone

it was hella fun though sienna said laughing

it was more fun than what we did this morning Kaleb agreed

In the video, we are going to look like we took down a huge army or something

the body cam footage will tell the truth melody said laughing

when our fans see your edits they are going to be laughing their asses off at us Liam said chuckling

the director is calling us guys Kaleb said let's go everyone rounded up again as the director gave everyone the next scenes

the next scenes are the game scenes so boys get into your respective teams

extras go to your respective seats in the stands

girls get in the team corner

we will have a team of cameras on you guys as well there is going to be a bit of a story involved

we want you to support the team when members come back in during the game give them water

towels you can lead the cheering for the fans whatever you can come up with help the team to win

encouragement motivation got it

yes the girls all agreed the filming began again with the director moving along the field giving out instructions here and there

the boys were surprisingly good at playing Lazor ball since Daisuke and Liam were both also naturally athletic they got

some really good scenes with them actually being able to pull off a few moves while Zane and Kaleb would

do running and passing the ball to other team members but they each filmed a goal that was perfectly set up for them by

the pro players of the crimson stars team knew how to make novice players look like they could play really well

and the guys all seemed to get along well with the team Max Joel and Nash treated them as friends

the girls filmed scenes with the players that would make the game look more dramatic

when the all-important scene came to win the game and the new scoring kick came out

everyone watched with baited breathe to see if it really

would look dragon-like as Kanna had imagined

when the ball went blasting across the field it even made a roaring sound caused by the six powerful whirlwind tails that spun around a streaking sparkling body of silver stars giving the dragon they hoped for its serpentine form

everyone cheered despite themselves when it made the goal even all the staff it was amazing to watch and it looked beautiful

this music video is going to destroy the charts it will be my masterpiece

the director yelled in happiness yes that was perfect

they filmed two more scenes one was a scene where the band was performing Not Looking Back

on a stage set up in the middle of the field, everyone surrounded the stage it was made to look like an outdoor concert scene

the last scene was for the celebration scene at the end of the game they had won

everyone ran out to the field in celebration of the victory the boys raised

a huge trophy Max had lent them from the team's trophy case in the air while everyone cheered

the music was blasting as the couples in the band all kissed for the camera while everyone celebrated in the crowd on the field around them

fireworks went off overhead using the screens and lights in the arena's domed ceiling to create the effect

wow it's surprising till the end Kaleb said in awe gazing at the fireworks display

I never even realized there were screens up there the whole time

Nash nearby laughed you're cute he said to Kaleb putting an arm around the blue-haired boy's shoulder

watching him flush gazing at the handsome face of the star player

he blinked startled Nash titled his head giving him a bemused look what is it? he asked why are you staring at me like that kid?

you're really pretty Kaleb blurted out nonsense he didn't understand where his head was going why are you so pretty? he asked him

Nash actually flushed shyly and smiled

thanks, Kaleb he ruffled his hair and walked away and left him there

what just happened to me? Kaleb wondered what was that weird feeling did I just feel attracted to nash?

he wondered there had to be something wrong with him

meanwhile, Nash was feeling tickled inside Kaleb had noticed his avian traits and had felt attracted it was sweet and rather flattering Kaleb was one of those rare pure people

who still able to be like a kid in personality despite being grown up it was a trait that made Kaleb very attractive

someone you wanted to cherish in the hopes that he would always stay that way and not change

which was impossible he hoped he wouldn't become spoiled as he became more famous and turn into an unlikable brat

shaking his head, he went back to his team as filming was wrapping up, but his eyes often strayed to find Kaleb

hey, can we get a photo with you guys before we leave? Melody asked the crimson stars team

"yea sure we should and you can post it too" Max agreed as he gathered the Lazor Ball team

around him and the band members got into the group shot

the photos were taken by a staff member

"thank you guys," Joel said "it was awesome doing a music video with you today we had a lot of fun

make sure you come to the arena for the galactic championship game

we will send you guys tickets"

"We wouldn't miss it even if you didn't send us tickets," Kanna said with a laugh

"Kaleb, can you add me?" Nash asked "you can call me we can hang out sometime"

"sure" Kaleb replied with a smile they pair exchanging contact info

everyone saying their goodbyes to their new friends in the Crimson Stars team for a while

the field was busy as the staff packed up all the filming equipment and things

they had used for the shoot

the band gathered together after changing

out of costume they piled into the horizon and plane and finally went home it had been a long day for them
