2 And He Shall Appear

"Se-se!, hey wait up!"

Becca called jogging across the school parking lot after her,

with Paityn not far behind, school was now over for the day

and as usual, the two girls had decided to join her,

the pair of girls walked arm in arm next to her,

considered themselves her closest friends

sienna was not of the same opinion but she tolerated the girls because she had to go to school with them every day

so she tried to get along with them nicely but she knew better than to let them

into her real-life, if she did then it wouldn't be private for very long soon everyone at school would know her business

"Hey are you going downtown today? "

Becca asked

"there's this cute little cake place that's opened at the mall I want to visit"

Paityn rolled her eyes "you and your love of cakes and pastries you should really watch your figure, Becca"

Since Becca was a voluptuous full-figured girl with bright red hair

worn cut in a chic bob and sharp green eyes

she was a cool beauty most boys seemed to find her attractive and most girls were often envious

"Me! Becca cried in disbelief " you have more junk in your trunk than I do"

At this Paityn blushed crimson

Since this was also true while Paityn didn't have Becca's full curves,

she was of slender build with teal blue hair that fell to her shoulders and golden eyes

she was small-busted on top but did have shapely hips, long legs, and a surprisingly big butt

that didn't quite seem to fit with her slender figure

and she was very self-conscious of it but again it didn't make her any less attractive to the boys than Becca was,

at times she was more so since her figure was considered the standard of feminine beauty on Planet Prylea

Sienna, on the other hand, was another matter entirely she was the short girl with a petite slim curvy figure

and mahogany-colored hair that was sorta wavy and curly but not quite fully either falling to her shoulders,

a heart-shaped face with green eyes, a pert bob nose, full rosebud lips with dimples that appeared in her cheeks whenever she smiled,

she was mostly seen as the plain most earthling looking one among the girls in her class

"enough you two" Sienna interrupted their usual sassing each other

"and for the record neither of you are fat, so no more nonsense about your figures

and no I can't go downtown this evening I've got an assignment for class to finish" she sighed

Both girls sighed in disappointment

"I really wanted you to come hang out today, the music shop Just got a whole bunch of concerts on Zelon Drives

in I was hoping we could go check them out and maybe buy a few to watch this weekend" Paityn added

"Yup" Becca confirmed "it's the beginning of tour season for the bands, so they're doing a lot of live performances

all over the place, it's just a matter of choosing which band you like"

" let's go SKIZ3 here we come!!" Becca cried

Paityn laughed" it's Aquila Outlaws for me"

"Oh um does that Silver Shadows band have any of those too? Sienna asked curiously

"Oooh I knew you were so faking it" Paityn cried smacking her on the arm

"not interested my foot! you're just like the rest of us drooling over hot boys"

"Oh shut up," sienna said rolling her eyes "when have you ever seen me drool?"

The two girls laughed at her

and Becca replied "they don't have any zelon drives out yet because they are too new they haven't debuted yet

but I heard somewhere that their first showcase is going to be soon,

maybe we can try to get some tickets and go together then? I've never been to a rock show before its kinda retro but it might still be fun"

I'd like to see how they intend to modernize the ancient 21st-century rock band aesthetic"

Paityn agreed with a smile "long live rock and roll and all that"

Well if you find out anymore let me know ok, you two have fun I'm going home" Sienna replied

"See you tomorrow se-se" Becca called

"see you guys" she waved back

the other two girls cross the street and headed in the opposite direction while Sienna turned down the avenue that led her dormicile

As she reached the busy intersection the sidewalk got a little narrower,

and a bit more crowded, as it usually does,

but she didn't mind being able to navigate through the moving crowds of pedestrians without much difficulty as per usual,

"Move out my way" someone cried rudely,

at the last second, someone bumped her off the sidewalk

"Heey!"

she cried with alarm as she found herself suddenly falling,

she flailed her arms trying to grab onto something to catch her balance but there was nothing there

She tumbled into the street her book bag books and stationary scattering everywhere she hit the ground knocking the wind out of her,

She gasped for breath looking up all she could see were a pair of black wheels bearing down on her,

Horrified she realized she had fallen into oncoming traffic,

she was about to be hit by a guy riding a hydro cycle

She was frightened out of her wits, she curled herself into the foetal position tucking her head inside her arms, and braced herself for an impact that never came,

Tires screeched on the asphalt and she smelled the acrid scent of burning

hydro fuel as her heart ricocheted in her chest, she couldn't catch her breath and she was shaking feeling hot and cold at once

She heard cursing and a commotion and lots more yelling and cursing

She opened her eyes and then released a cry of alarm the bikes front wheel was just a few inches or so away from her face

"Miss are you all right do you need a Medic" a male voice inquired urgently behind her

A gentle hand rested against her back she felt him move around her coming into view

Black combat boots black jeans a red t-shirt and a black leather jacket

I am so sorry he apologized I didn't know if I could stop in time,

I tried my best I must have cut it a bit too close god I can't believe this is happening I nearly killed you

Are you hurt anywhere? he asked helping her up carefully she was able to finally meet his gaze she blinked stunned

White blond hair bright blue eyes set in a stunningly handsome face he had sideburns and a scruff that matched the color of his hair

So it wasn't dyed or bleached she thought dazedly

Miss are you all right? talk to me he said urgently gazing into her eyes worriedly

"Oh" she gasped blinking "sorry I'm a bit um" she shook her head

"You're in shock" he stated and before she knew it he scooped her up off the ground with ease and jogged quickly over to a nearby cafe He set her down in a booth

"Relax here a bit don't go anywhere be right back"

She nodded he went to the counter and ordered something before heading out the door

A few minutes later a waitress brought her cup of fragrant tea and a plate of sandwiches

"You going to be ok?, that was really close huh?" she asked kindly

Siena smiled faintly and nodded " yea I'm ok just a bad scare is all"

While she drank the soothing tea, ate and recovered her equilibrium

Daisuke was outside retrieving her stuff from the street

he ran back to where her book bag laid and they began to pick up her spilled books

Loose book leaves and pens and other things were scattered every which way

he quickly began to gather them, he was late for band practice,

but for once he really didn't care, he was just immensely grateful,

he hadn't been responsible for hurting the beautiful young girl with his bike and sitting handcuffed in the back seat of a Planetary Guardians vehicle right now

He bent to retrieve a leather-bound notebook lying face down near the gutter

as he carefully picked it up not wanting it to get soiled by the gutter water

He noticed the writing style in the pages was different from what one would expect from ordinary school notes

Curiously he took a quick peek and inhaled sharply the book wasn't for school notes

it was filled with page after page of original song lyrics and some poetry

Some of it as of yet unfinished as if she had just lost interest in writing it at some point, he leafed quickly through it

She was talented and the way she wrote very unique and descriptive

others were sensual almost blatantly sexy with a darker edge

these poems and lyrics were very personal he was intruding on what was more or less her diary he realized

But melodies began flowing freely through his mind he could envision

the images she was painting through her words; he could compose songs to go with these lyrics

One, in particular, caught his eyes dated today titled AFTER YOU

as he read the words it resonated deeply within him

He had to have this,

he thought resolutely it was perfect,

he gripped the page and tore it out

neatly folded it and pushed it into his back pocket and then with one of her pens he wrote on the next page

He scribbled his name and number and then out of his wallet he pulled out a ticket to his band's debut concert on Saturday

tucking them between the missing pages of the notebook he closed it and took her book bag to the Cafe for her

"Hey I got your stuff here, he said handing them to her

"Thanks so much for collecting them for me," she said in relief accepting them

"You're welcome it's the least I could do" he replied with a smile

"Listen I'm running late so I have to leave now, he said

"That's ok I'm fine now " she replied

He offered his hand "as long you're ok I won't worry then I'm Daisuke by the way,

it's nice to meet you despite the near accident and everything again I'm really sorry"

She took his hand "it's fine really I'm not hurt or feel pain anywhere just a little bit shaken up" she said assuring him she really was ok

and he squeezed her hand warmly and smiled his gaze holding hers he lifted her hand and pressed a gentle kiss to her wrist

his blue eyes shining startled at his unexpected action and the warm tremors that ran through her body and her cheeks flushed

"I'm Sienna Walker" she replied pulling her hand from his slowly she was grateful but not that grateful she thought

"its nice to meet you too Daisuke um that's a Huassain name isn't it? "she wondered curiously

He smirked " good guess I am Huassain" and that's all I'm going to reveal for now" he winked at her

" ill leave you to figure out the rest see you around Miss Sienna Walker "

he gave a little salute with two of fingers above his blond eyebrow as he smiled at her she found herself dazzled for a moment

He left quickly leaving her wondering "figure out the rest? What did that mean?"
