44 Mayhem

Silver stood with the fire raging behind her. The Ogre's that did see her, had likened her to a goddess of war. The fire created a terrifying visage, and the blood on her clothes made it even more menacing. Still, she merely stood there, like a true goddess. It was as if she was looking down on them, when she suddenly frowned. There were more of them than she thought. Still, with their limited intelligence, Silver was pretty confident. She Dashed forward, drawing their attention.

Her Scythe whipped out around her, like a vicious tornado. It sliced through Toes, Feet and Calves alike. Once she had their agro, Silver ran towards a tent and ducked behind it. Their speed was abysmally slow, and even with them being five levels above her, they could barely keep her in their sights. She stopped next to the house and grinned as a club was sent towards her. Instead of the previous slam, it was a wide swing, attempting to throw her aside like a ragdoll. Silver reacted quickly and performed a magnificent back-flip, managing to get out of the way. The club swung directly into the tent, demolishing it, and tangling the Ogre's arm. He roared in annoyance.

"Grrr! W-!" He began, before an Ogre in the back suddenly cried out, cutting him off.

"HEY! My's Home!" He cried out in frustration.

All of the Ogre's gathered around the one that struck the tent. In total, there were about six of them.

*BANG*

*CRASH*

*PSHHT*

The sounds of a pummeling began ringing out as five ogre's began swinging their clubs on one poor Ogre. Blood flew everywhere, and covered many different tents. Silver laughed like a mad woman as the ogre's beat their ally. This went on for almost a full minute. Unsurprisingly, when they were done, the Ogre was nearly unrecognizable. All that remained was a pile of blood, bones and flesh. They had turned their ally into a simple meat-paste.

.....

Divine had been turned into a Vampire. Her hair was now black, and her charm had been unlocked. She attracted many different gazes from many different people, although most of them were wonder. Divine could feel her body's difference. The strength, speed, and senses were far better. Her eyes were slightly annoyed by the sunlight, however.

Divine was headed to a specific location. She had been there before. She was heading to the hidden temple of light. What better way to test her new prowess than a dungeon?

This temple was a hidden gem; it was a semi-small dungeon. Divine hadn't cleared it yet, but no one else had ever been there before, at least, not to her knowledge. The temple was one of the rarest kinds of dungeons, a solo dungeon. The prerequisite for getting in was to know light magic. Divine had cleared the first two of five floors, and was not worried about being caught unprepared.

The temple was situated in the middle of a small lake. This lake was untainted, and seemed perfectly clean. The water was a crystal clear blue, and the grass surrounding it was the perfect length. Almost as if someone had kept cutting it. The temple, however, was a different story.

The temple's sullied white color contrasted with the environment, as splotches of grey could be seen all over it's walls. Vines were growing along the sides of it in a chaotic pattern. The four corners of the temple had crumbling towers, that almost reached the tops of the trees. It almost looked like a castle, and could've been mistaken for one, if it wasn't so small. A bridge made of light connected the gate to the shore, and a small stone monolith stood next to the bridge, along the shore.

Divine walked up to the monolith and poured a tiny bit of mana into it. Suddenly, the monolith shook as it sank into the ground. The bridge began glowing, and continued until Divine had to close her eyes. When she opened them again, the bridge had returned to normal, albeit a tad more visible. Divine stepped across the bridge and walked up to the gate. Above the Gate was a small symbol. The Symbol of Keari, Goddess of Light. Divine stepped past the open gate and into the dungeon.

Inside the dungeon was a gloomy atmosphere. Divine took her sword out, sheath and all. Wrapping a rope around her blade to keep the sheath on. This might seem unusual, but this dungeon was crawling with various undead skeletons, and if you ever tried to cut a skeleton, you'd know that it's much easier to smash them instead.

Divine walked forward, calm and aware. The halls of the temple were long, and there were rooms mostly on either side of her. Divine's senses were much sharper than they were before. She perked up as she heard a faint noise.

*Click Clack, Rattle*

She immediately recognized it as a skeleton. Stopping, she cautiously stood in the doorway. There were exactly seven skeletons in the small room. They moved oddly, and kept bumping into each other. Divine pondered for a moment, confused. When she was here previously, they had immediately rushed towards her.

Thinking to herself, she came to a rather simple conclusion. 'Undead must react to life force detected in the area. As a vampire, my life force is either dimished, or gone. They think I'm one of them.' She smirked as the realization came to her. 'This makes everything much easier.'

Divine ran towards the first skeleton and slammed her sword into it with a loud *crrack* Unsurprisingly, the skeleton wobbled around, seemingly stunned. Divine wrapped her foot in light and kicked it square in the ribs. The skeleton's bones unceremoniously clattered to the floor like beads from a necklace. Usually, this dungeon would be very hard due to the undead swarming the player, but by being a vampire, the hardship was basically gone.

Skeletons were very weak by themselves. Their strength lie in numbers alone, with a mere seven skeletons, Divine killed them easily. As soon as she finished, she chuckled to herself. 'This dungeon just became a whole lot easier.'
