(Third person pov)

As Clan lord entered with his eldest son who had explicitly came back from the academy and grand elders, everyone stood up in greeting and trio sensibly made their way to sit beside their mothers unlike normally where they would just sit anywhere and no one would reprimand them for that.

After everyone was seated Chang Bai, the main housekeeper stood up and made a long speech about clan history and many other things on behalf of clan lord which got Changyang Hu first of four to have respectful expression Changyang Mingyue to have somewhat forcefully respectful expression Changyang Xiangtian to have interest piqued and Changyang Kei to... Half-asleep.

After the speech was completed names started to be called off of which the first to be called were, of course, young masters of Changyang mansion.

"Second Misstress, please,", said the elder in charge of saint force test.

"Mingyue, go and do as Elder De says and have your saint force tested." Yu Fengyan said smilingly.

"Best of luck, Sis" chimed Kei from the side.

Hu and Xingtian too showed encouraging smile causing Mingyue to skip to where De Shu was standing.

De Shu waved his hand causing ring on the finger to glow and space to ripple and reveal a white stone half a meter long causing Kei to recall what his mother had told him last night,

Bai Yushuang: Listen Kei, tomorrow you are going to be tested in saint force, have you practiced cultivation technique I gave you.

Changyang Kei: ....yeah

Yushuang: Kei, I know you do not like it but you must work hard your mother can't give you the support of another clan like your other aunts. You must work hard to become someone great. Understood?

Saint Stone is a special white colored rock that could measure the amount of Saint Force and it's attribute within a person's body. Saint Stone used colors to represent a person's strength–Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet representing the strength of saint force present in that person has with Red for lowest rank Pre-Saint to Violet for Heaven Saint Master. As for attributes, they will show their characteristics like stone becoming warm for the fire, cold for the water, etc. But you need not to worry about that as only one in tens of saint master have an attribute who themselves are one in thousands and even that is only approximated in saint test as saint stone is mainly used to determine saint force, not its attribute. In that matter family lines also play an important role in which sadly mother can't help you much.

As he thought of this, he curiously looked at his sister having cute frown while concentrating, suddenly it seems air became cold though it was only for those concentrating on sight before them while saint stone glowed with red glow indicating saint force which causes elder du to have his face change which honestly was a funny sight,

"S-saint force of s-second layer. Haha, Second mistress is indeed a genius blessed by heavens above. Congratulations, Clan Lord." He said while starting with a stutter but ending in congratulations.

Every person present was having a smile of their own though some were fake, Kei noticed causing him to sigh in annoyance.

After some talk about the future in a celebratory manner, it was his turn. Getting good luck from his sister and same encouraging smile from his brothers he came in front of elder while thinking hope I'm not too much of a genius otherwise it will be troublesome.

As elder waved his hand causing one ring on his hand to shine brightly and lo and behold a saint stone appeared out of nowhere causing him to blink in amazement even though he had seen it happen before during second sis test it still was amazing especially since in all his four lives he never had seen such storage device. Seeing this Elder Du can't help but smirk because even third young master who never show interest in anything other than causing trouble is amazed at this trick.

Afterward, elder describe that he had to touch from one end while elder would hold another end for guiding the saint force as they were not at the stage where they can emit saint force out of there body. As he placed his hand on the saint stone he suddenly had a feeling that something is about to happen something that is definitely not normal.

Everyone watched with anticipation as it was famous that both of third and fourth master had been born with exceptional intelligence one capable of starting to read at the small age of two years without any need for help from elder, while other had not shown interest in studies but is still able to trick many adults for his bidding.

Slowly saint force under everyone's scrutiny glowed with dim red color with gloomy feeling spreading causing some to feel disappointed some to feel gleeful though before anyone can react saint stone suddenly trembled, which unfortunately was only noticed by Elder du and little Kei. Feeling something wrong Kei backed away, while elder shouted everyone to brace themselves while throwing the stone upwards causing everyone who was starting to murmur among themselves to look at him in confusion.

BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!

But that confusion was answered by an explosion that caused the stone to disappear without a trace and four people to get lightly injured. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

Seeing explosion, Kei thought 'I understand you Deidara-sama'

Chang Bai, the main housekeeper and also one who managed the economy of the whole family thought 'this is going to be certainly expensive' as saint stone were rare for a country of their standing and especially for a second class city like theirs.

Turning to culprit everyone noticed he had lightly injured both his wrists and also had some cuts near the neck. Coincidently, Changyang Hu, Changyang Mingyue, Changyang Xingtian too were injured. Looking at this many believed that this was a bad omen. What no one noticed that there seem to be mysterious energy that connected Kei's wounds to his siblings' except for three people a reincarnation of four lives, a swordsmen who for some mysterious reason was reborn and a certain snow goddess but none managed to make heads or tails of this connection and decided to neglect it for the time being.

Ultimately, the awakening ceremony was postponed for next day due to mysterious bad omen causing the remaining persons to shot hateful glares at a certain kid who was receiving scolding of an overprotective mother who still believed that the incident was a result of her kid's antics and was not a representation of bad omen everyone believed it to be with occasional chirping of a sister who was taking time enjoying scenario while not able to escape a chop from her own mother. Though this continued for a while it was firmly decided by many elders who were in support that third young master was to be declared unable to cultivate regardless of his aptitude in cultivation.

Kei had decided he will studiously cultivate daily till he is exhausted and unable to even move ..............

When he was dragged to his mother's room he certainly didn't expect outcome to be that he would be denied of any access to sweets so it was decided there and then that he would reach acceptable results so that he can get his sweets back without any need for other 'special' methods, that may lead to more trouble.
