A New Beginning

"What's this??? OMG! I'm I dreaming?? Yeah. I'm definitely in a dream cus this can't be real." Coming to her senses, Jia pinched herself in front of her mirror. "Am I really back? Back to the past??" She continued to ask herself in disbelief.

"Thank goodness. That means I can revive myself, change my future, and not die such pathetic and miserable deaths as I did in my past life in the hands of that bastard of a father." Sighing in relief, Jia quickly adapted the fact with joy. Looking into the mirror again, Jiajia admires her perfect face, the exact copy of her beloved mom's.

"Mom. I'm back. Grandma, I'm also back. I'll cherish my life as you always told me to and it's good to be back!!" She exclaimed as she swore to herself while stretching.

"Jiajia!!! Wake-up and come have breakfast. If you don't get up now, you'll be late for school!" Feng Chai, Feng Jia's mother called from downstairs.

"Coming mom!! Be right there in a sec!"

"Morning Mom, Grandma, did you sleep well?" Hugging both her grandmother and her mother after experiencing their absence for a fairly long while, she found relief.

"What's wrong with you today? What's with the hugs? Did you do something bad?" Suspicious, her mother asked.

"Nothing... Just.. had a bad dream that you guys were gone." Jia replied.

"Bad dreams are bad dreams, Xiao Jia. But that doesn't mean they don't contain some elements of truth. Be careful today." Old Madam Feng, Jia's Grandmother said in a loving but warning tone.

Yeah, sure grandma. I believe you." Feng Jia replied.

"Oh! Stop it, mum. It's not like we'd disappear on your granddaughter. Also, Jiajia, don't be like your grandma and start saying riddles. Understood?"Feng Chai said.
