116 Healing with Love

Bella took the soup and handed it to Peter, but Peter just stared at her with tired eyes. There was no response as he managed to maintain the sitting position without swaying. Bella carefully put a few spoons of soup into his mouth which he managed to gulp with great difficulty. As she saw him slowly weighing himself to lie down, she stood up to leave.

Bella was startled. Peter was holding her wrist and pushing her towards him. Bella retreated towards his bed again and sat beside him. Peter was struggling hard to keep his eyes opened, as he put his head over Bella's lap. Bella struggled in his hold to put his head back to the pillow as she saw him plead, "Bella, please let me lie down here for a while…"

Bella was shocked. She knew Peter is not in his conscious mind that moment. She was worried, how she would explain it to him once he get sober.
