13 CHAPTER 13

Diamond was planning on staying with her family for a long time, like one week or two.

She was no longer an employee and didn't need to report to anyone anymore, so she was free to do whatever she wanted.

When everyone returned home that day, Diamond had already prepared a scrumptious meal for everyone and they all enjoyed it while being merry and joyful.

Later that night, Diamond took out the gifts that she prepared for her family. For the three of them, she gave them detoxification pills, which she received a few weeks ago 

She also gave them additional gifts like jewelry for the women and wine and special cigarettes for her father.

The three didn't ask much from her and simply accepted the gifts with smiles on their face.

"You need to take the pills when you go to sleep. And I advise you to not take the pills on the same night. After all, we only have one restroom," she couldn't help but chuckle when she remembered that tragic night when she took a water pill.

She also shared her experiences and other things before they finally went to bed. They all agreed that Ruby would take the pill that night to avoid any unforeseen troubles.

Ruby, being the youngest, adored her older sister so much, although the other in terms of academic qualification was very inferior compared to her.

Ruby was slightly more beautiful than Diamond before and seeing her older sister more gorgeous than her actually made her a bit worried. Her love and worship for her older sister didn't mean that she liked it when the other surpassed her.

However, her older sister wasn't stingy and gave all family members the miraculous pills she talked so much positively about.

She also wanted to change for the better and turn into a goddess. So she decided to be the first one to take the pill. After all, sleeping with her would be useless on a night like that, if she didn't let anything happen to her and see a change.

Ruby heeded Diamond's instructions and took the pill carefully. She was very anxious as she was waiting for the pending doom and surely she wasn't disappointed.

She cussed Diamond as she sprinted to the toilet. Luckily, there wasn't anyone inside. That was the first time that Ruby felt as if her intestines were being squeezed and her life was being taken out of her.

Luckily, Diamond was already prepared for this. The stinky smell didn't travel anywhere as the air freshener that she brought did all the magic and expelled any odor from the house.

Of course, that was only the beginning, and after such a battle, Ruby was simply exhausted and she went to bed.

The next morning, everyone was awakened after hearing Ruby's scream. Even Diamond, who was sleeping beautifully on her side of the room, groggily opened her eyes and gawked when she looked at Ruby.

Before Diamond used the water pill, she was 5/10 in terms of beauty standards and it rose to 9/10 after that. Ruby was 6/10 before taking the pill and now, it could be considered that they were on par, 9/10.

"You look damn good! But I think you need to get rid of that goo first before doing anything!" Diamond reminded the stunned Ruby, as she didn't want to keep on looking at the goo that had come out of her little sister.

Ruby flashed a smile at her older sister before running out. She bumped into her parents and hastily greeted them before vanishing again.

Belinda entered the girls' room where she asked what happened and Diamond decided to act mysteriously and let her parents wait for Ruby to come out and reveal her new look.

Ruby teared up after seeing the new her in the mirror. Her skin was spotless and she was more beautiful than before. She was even a bit taller and the most important thing was that her hair also grew longer.

Although it wasn't as long as Diamond's, it was still longer than the original one. She calmed herself before going out to reveal the great changes that had happened to her.

And surely everyone was stunned. Belinda cried, and the mother and daughter pair hugged each other for a very long time.

Ruby looked tearfully at the smiling Diamond and sincerely said, "Thank you, thank you very much."

Diamond just smiled. To her, seeing her family improving and being happy was what she wanted to see. She was going to do her utmost best to make her parents live in luxury.

Everyone began to hurry again after the excitement quieted down. Breakfast was served and after breakfast, Diamond took everyone out.

Her other purpose was to buy other things for her family. At the moment, she couldn't afford to buy her family a house as her funds weren't enough. But other small things she could still manage and raising her family weren't a big deal.

Diamond was inside the room taking out her handbag when her mother suddenly called her, "Are you still not done?"

Diamond chuckled upon hearing that and called out to her mother, "I am coming!"

Seeing how she was being rushed, she quickly dashed out of the room and joined her family, who were already dressed and ready to go.

Belinda locked the door, and the family of four left the house. While they were on the streets, neighbors kept on greeting them. Others were genuine while others were just feeling gossipy, as they were curious about Diamond and Ruby.

The family of four found a taxi nearby and received numerous glares on the way. Belinda and Richard felt very proud of having such beautiful daughters. Who cared if they were poor? With a daughter like this, it was guaranteed that they could have several sons-in-law in the future.

The trip to the CBD took around forty minutes and Richard paid the taxi fare, which was around A$30 for the four of them.

"So where are we going first?" Ruby asked Diamond excitedly as Diamond was the planner of this trip in the first place.

Diamond flashed a smile at the others before answering, an answer that gave the three of them enough shock to last for a while.
