But when she logged in and glanced at the current money status, her eyes almost came out in shock.

I didn't take out all the money, where did all the money go?" Yun Xi's head was spinning as she was scared shitless!

She came out of the room to get the network, she had to call the bank to see what's going on.

There was a shop in the same direction as the stairs. There was a crowd in front of the store where the television was currently showing the news.

Yun Xi's mind was blank because of the anxiousness, but the news still butted inside her head as what the newscaster said.

"Last night, an unknown hacker hacked into the bank reserve and took out a large amount of money from the creditors, and he vanished right after the robbery. There is still no news about him as the police are having a hard time catching up with him…" the newscaster was talking, but Yun Xi's head was buzzing.

I got robbed of my money?

She felt dizzy all of a sudden. But it was too late to catch the railing as she fell down the stairs with a loud thud.

Is this how my second life ends?

Again, without anyone by her side, all alone.

'I guess this is my fate, after all…' Yun Xi thought just before her mind went blank and her vision went black.

'Hiss… it hurts. What happened?'

'Didn't I die till now?'

'I'm still alive. But I can't open my eyes. So heavy!'

Yun Xi struggled to open her eyelids. Finally, she opened her eyes wide. Looking around, there was no one. It was still the same place as before. 

She was also lying down on the stairs. How long has it been?

Yun Xi looked outside, it doesn't seem like it has been that long.

'Growl!'

'Well, I know I'm hungry, too!'

 After hearing the news from before, Yun Xi has calmed down after waking up. She also felt her mind has cleared up more compared to before.

When she tried to get up a little, a sharp pain came from her leg, causing her to yelp in pain.

"Meow!" 

Yun Xi paused, Meow?

What was that?

She was surprised as she said, what…

"Meow!"

Again?

Was it her voice?

Why does her voice sound like a cat?

She didn't dare to talk as she slowly lifted her hand.

'Hand? Where is my hand!?'

'Where did my hand goooo?'

'What's wrong with this paw?'

'This is not my hand?'

'Where is my body?'

She tried her best to get up from the floor while limping with one of her legs. 

Then she slowly reached the stairs to go up, Yun Xi looked at the stairs that looked as if they reached miles away.

'Is this the stairs of heaven? Why does it look so long?'

She sighed as she started to crawl over the stairs one by one. 

After a long time of struggle, Yun Xi finally stood in front of her room. The room door was wide open, just like when she left it before. 

She went inside as she quickly pushed and closed the door with all her might. There is a lock down in the door, so she quickly locked it and sat down right there, breathing hard from all this work.

But she still can't live steadily. Yun Xi took a break for some time before she started to crawl again, right in front of the mirror. She felt surprised by own looks that she took two steps back in fear.

"Meow?" <Who is this? It's… me?>

"MEOW!?" <WHAT!?>

The cat with deep sea blue colored eyes and black fur wasn't any simple cat, it was Yun Xi herself!

The blue eyes were right, Her hair was black, the black fur was also right. But why was her mole still there?

The mole was placed below her right eye, and it was still there. She touched the mirror with her front leg. The mole suddenly gave her an assurance that she wasn't a real cat, she was still a human.

But, why did she turn into a cat?

"Growl…"

Yun Xi didn't understand the reason, but she didn't have the time to think as she went to fill up her stomach first.

After she was done eating, Yun Xi placed the packets aside as she lay down to take a rest. She casually looked at the clock to see what time it was.

But her eyes got stuck in the clock, right beside the time.

'The date… today is Sunday?'

'Wasn't it Saturday?'

Yun Xi slowly came to a realization. She fainted, but not today. It was yesterday.

'So she woke up after a whole day?'

No wonder her stomach was boiling in rage. She didn't eat anything for two nights and one day!

Yun Xi really wanted to cry but lacked tears.

This wasn't funny ah!

Her body was now one of a female cat, it's a middle aged one, so she didn't need to think much about it. She only needs to train herself a little before she can walk completely.

'Do I have… claws?'

If she had claws, then she would be able to protect herself if someone unexpected were to barge in.

She tried to control her claws, surprisingly she did have claws!

Wow! This is great!

She scratched an invisible man in the air while lifting her claw.

After that, she started to train her body. At first, she needed to stand up properly. Then she can learn how to walk with four legs!

Well, there isn't anything she can do, this is a fictional world after all. 

Anything can happen, but she can't give up. She has to live despite all this.

After Yun Xi turned into a cat, she became so dense that she even imagined that if a jombie showed up all of a sudden, she wouldn't get surprised.
