3 chapter 3

There we all were huddled in our mini friend groups waiting for the change to happen and as expected almost everyone was both fearful and excited for Delcan to change,

an Alpha's change is said to be the most scary and painful experience, you could clearly see his worry on his face, but I couldn't do anything because I had Levia, Teagan and Shiloh who were basically clinging on to my arms.

After what felt like an eternity Levia began to heat up really badly and she had a weak look on her face, before I could ask if she was okay she collapsed on the floor in a weeping mess, her back began to arch back to the point were you could hear bones upon bones breaking forcing its new form through, she let out a scream that soon turned into a howl her eyes flashed from her normal brown eyes to a golden yellow, her face began to protrude to from a muzzle and bit by bit fur grew rapidly from her skin and she got on all fours before claws began to sprout form her hands and before long a beautiful grey wolf stood before me.

I had fixed all my attention on Levia I hadn't realized Teagan and Shiloh had also changed with Teagan being a fawn colour and Shiloh a light Lilac, everyone around me had changed and was stretching but not moving still waiting for me but after what felt like hours nothing was happing, I sat there the same, felt nothing.

But when a bug landed on me and I hit it everyone's heads snapped to my direction I gave a sheepishly smile and apologized this was not good if I take this long it means I'd be the weakest one in the group and my father would not like that.

after an actual 2 hours, Delcan appeared infront of me, he was a bit bigger than the others with him being the Alpha and all, he had cinnamon fur and the same golden eyes they all had.

they all had their heads bowed, in both respect and submission, he snarled at me and I'm pretty sure he was trying to make me change or something but nothing happened he growled loudly and they all formed two lines, I knew what that they were going to do the run without me, but that wasn't rights it has never been heard of or done in our pack, neither has a wolf who hasn't changed before this

"Delcan wait, you can't do that it's unheard of for someone to be left in the bunker, we are all supposed to come out together you can't leave me here", he completely ignored me and continued to walk around the wolves,

"Delcan once they see you all out there, the protection they have put for us with be removed anything could get in here and attack me", Levia looked at me with pity, there was nothing she could do.

I knew I had stepped out of line Delcan isn't officially our Alpha but we were all told that at this point during the cold moon his Alpha instincts are very out of control so we should address him as such but this was not an Alpha like thing to do completely ignoring me wasn't good leadership.

He ignored me and just like that he began to sprint and they all followed Levia and Shiloh hesitated but Teagan was long gone being ahead with Delcan, fighting with themselves and losing they passed me sad looks before running to catch up with the others.

I sat there under the moon looking at the skylight and hoping and praying I would change I heard their loud howl which signaled that they had arrived and done the basic think every werewolf is supposed to do.

one thought filled my mind why would the moon goddess punish me like this and just like that I was consumed in darkness.
