I turned my eyes to this 17yr old boy right in front of me , he had blue piercing eyes and his hair was pushed back , he was wearing a jean jacket with a white t-shirt and with blue jeans and with some white Jordan's

and his face expression seemed uninterested he didn't look at me In the eye he just kept blowing a bubble with his gum

Then I focused my eyes on the blonde woman standing next to my father

She was tall, blonde with blue eyes and was wearing a pink dress and pink heels with a white feather coat, the way she stood was full of pride.

My thoughts were all over there place but I knew that I had to speak up

" ok dad explain to me from the beginning what, how , when, where?."

Dad sighs

"Jessica and Matthew came to me this morning in the house after I left your office. Saying that Matthew here was my son and that's all you need to know." He said

"Ok…. no offense Jessica but dad how do you even know if Matthew is really your kid?" I questioned

"She came here with a proof on dna stating that Matthew is indeed my son, so can you now stop questioning everything like you always do and give me the report you were suppose to give me".

I smile " sure no problem ...sir"

I grab my purse and pull out a black folder from it then walk over to my father and hand it over

" now if you don't mind i have a beautiful bed calling me name"

Dad scans the report and then opens his mouth " wait Katerina I still have something to talk to you about"

I turn my body only half way and put my hand up to my ear "I'm sorry do you hear that,... i think it's my bed , whoops sorry she can be very impatient sometimes. See ya!" I run up the stairs into my room and lock the door.

I close my eyes and I put my body against the door *exhales*

"today was just not my day" I open my eyes and see that most wonderful thing I've seen today….my bed

I run across my room and jump, landing into my bed

"Oh how I miss you" and just like that I was out like a light

*morning*

*beep beep beep*

I jump from the sound of my alarm then slowly opening my eyes then I look at the alarm clock and turn it off.

My eyes and my body felt so heavy then I looked back at the alarm clock it was 6:05 I had to get back to work at 7:28 but I had to get my clothes ready I had to shower and I had to do my hair and do my makeup but my body took over my brain and I just thought

" 10 more minutes"

I lay back down and snuggle back into my bed

*knock knock knock *

*No reply *

*bang bang bang*

I wake up from the banging I wipe my eyes and stretch my arms and legs then I slowly open my eyes

*bang bang bang *

My sit up from my bed in confusion then I hear Amelia my main maid outside of my door

" Katerina you need to get up your going to be late to work" *bang bang bang *

I get annoyed from the loud thumbing " I'm wake! I'm wake! No need to knock that loud ." I wipe my eyes one more time and look at my clock it was 7:00 I froze for a solid moment and wiped my eyes to see if I was imagining it but nope the clock said 7:00 I blinked dumbfounded

"Fuckkkkkkkk Im going to be late " I get out of my bed and run towards my closet and quickly pick out a white blouse and black formal pants with black heels then after dressing myself rapidly I run towards the bathroom then look at myself in the mirror and once again and see my black hair looking like I had just been in a tornado I was all messy and had some knots in it *sigh* "I'm really out of luck "

I scoff then roll my eyes

" like I had some anyway"

I quickly grab my thick brush and try to brush it through then grabbed my two elastic bands and put my hair up into a bun then skipped my makeup and ran out of my door slided through the stairs and grabbed a bagel and my car keys and ran out of my house and into my car

*Breathing intensely *

" wow that was a workout"

I check my phone and see that it was 7:18 I had 10 minutes to get to work

" damnit well looks like where l speeding today" *looks up * " sorry god"

* a whole lot of speeding later*

I run through the lobby and into the elevator and check the time it was 7:27

* exhales*

"Just on time "

I turn my eye to the floor waiting until the elevator reaches the 5th floor

*bing* the elevator door opens

"Hey loser"

I look up to see who it is it was Christopher, there he stood perfect as always with his dark brown hair pushed back and with a black suit with a white shirt underneath.

"Christopher!"

I run toward my best friend then hugging him

" so what brings you here" I say with a smile on my face

He smirks at me and says " to be your savior" "okay....?" I say while heading towards my office

He opens the office and we enter and I see my desk with a dozen of donuts and a big coffee from Starbucks I look at him and give him a hug

" oh my gosh thank you thank you thank you!"

He smirks "mhm tell me you love me " he says with cockiness

"Don't push it "

We laugh together

Then Christopher goes to sit on a chair

" so what's new with you ?" He says

I grab a donut and take a bite " so turnes out I have a little brother"

Then proceed to open my computer and turn it on

" wait what ?" he says

" yea so I come home and there is this woman with a 17 year old boy next to her who apparently claims that her son is my dads son as well"

His face looking confused " um ok so... how does your dad know that, that boy really is his son like how does he know that she's not lying?"

I take another bite into my donut then swallow " dna test " I reply

"Oh"

*knock knock*

"Come in"

My assistant comes into my office

"Miss black, your father is here and he wishes to speak with you " *pause* " it's urgent "she says

Christopher stands from his seat " well might as well leave " he walks towards my door and looks back " I'll talk to you later"

I nod

And watch him as he leaves

Then my father enters the office and closes the door

"Katerina we need to talk"
