1 Friends or more?

*Audrey POV*

Our other friends had left and it was just the four of us: Jack, Cam, Saydee and me. We were all lying on the pavement outside Cam's house, waiting for our lifts to come get us. Cam and Saydee were leaning against the wall sharing headphones and scrolling through our group chat with everyone else,

even though we had all just seen each other we all had lots to talk about.

I was laying peacfully on my back with Jack's head on my stomach when suddenly Cam shouted, "Hey! Come on man, its not like that!" Him and Saydee were blushing profusely while Jack was laughing his head off, "Sorry man, but you two look so cute. I had to show everyone." I wasn't looking at the chat so I pulled Jack's phone closer to my face to see what he had done.

The chat was blowing up with "Awwwwwwes" and "cuuttteee's" Scrolling up i saw the cause and couldn't hold back an "Awwwwww" myself, on the group Jack had posted a picture of Cam and Saydee leaning against each other, with Saydee's head virtually on Cam's shoulder. "Not you too!" Cam whined, "You can't be 'aaww-ing' as well!" Jack and i just laughed.

Cam quickly took out his phone and took a photo of us, "Serves you two right. Now watch as your torment is doubled." At that Jack and I stopped laughing. You see, Jack and I had a history of being teased for how close we are, our friends always say we should get together. Cam's photo is going to add fuel to the already raging fire. I groaned already knowing what was happening on the group chat. "Why?! Why must you do that? He was only giving pay back for all the times you have done it to us!" I whined.

"Yada, yada, yada, karma is a bitch." Saydee said.

Jack turned off his phone and put it away. "I can't deal with all of them alone next time I'm dragging you to help me." He said to me. I just rolled my eyes, "All bark no bite." I mumbled.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing, i said nothing."

A mischievous glint went across his eye, "Are you sure?" He said, moving to trap me. Slowly I rose to sit up so i could get away if i had to, "Yes i'm very sure." He was getting closer and closer, so i tried moving away to escape, but it was too late. He attacked my sides, tickling me till tears came out my eyes, "Sto- Stop that tickles!" i giggled.

"No hey, its supposed to hurt. Of course it tickels! Im tickling you!" i laughed more.

"Stop!"

"I'll only stop if you tell me what you said."

"Never!" i cried. He just shrugged and continued to tickle me.

"Hey love birds! Look at the camera!" Cam called over us.

Immediately me and Jack froze, looking at each other with wide eyes before looking over at Cam. He had his phone out and had recorded the whole thing on camera. "And that treasure goes to the group." He said while ending it. As he looked down to send it to the group jack quitely crawled over to him, in hopes of snatching the phone and deleting the video before it got sent to everyone. Just before he got close enough we heard the ding of a sent message. We both deflated, there as no way we were going to hear the end of this.

Jack sighed before coming back and laying his head on my stomach. He now lay with his head buried into my stomach instead of on top of it. I just looked up at the stars and patted his head. His hair was soft as i slowly started running my fingers through it. After turning his face away from me, he fell asleep while i still stroked his hair.

I looked over at Cam and Saydee to see them engrossed in their phones again. Suddenly Saydee looked up at me and said, "You have to see this." i pointed at jack and whispered "Asleep." she nodded in understanding and crawled over to me. She lay down next to me on the opposite side of Jack and showed me her phone screen. I gasped loudly and grabbed Saydee's phone. Jack shuffled and we froze, when he stilled i quietly scrolled own the grade chat. One of our friends had taken the video from the group and posted it on the grade group with the caption, "Who wants to help this OTP? I need help getting these blind idiots together." Under the video were lots of comments from people saying they would help and some even gave suggestions. Quickly i took out my phone and posted, "You guys know we can see this right?" Almost immediately i got kicked off the group, Saydee showed me that they had also kicked Jack off too. "Hey!' i objected. Jack shot up, "What? Whats wrong? Are you hurt?" He rambled. Despite the situation me and Saydee laughed, "Nothing it's fine." i said. "Oh, ok" he mumbled still half asleep. He layed back down on my stomach and put my hand ontop of his head, "Please dont stop, its calming." he mumbled again, i just hummed in response.

"You guys are just so cute. Remind me why you arent together again?" she whispered i looked her in the eye, "I could say the same for you and Cam over there. Mind telling me why you guys arent together?" she looked away, "Thats what i thought." i said.

Just then my phine buzzed from a call, "Its my mom." i said.

"Hey ma, whats up?" i whispered.

"Hey honey, i know you guys are waiting and its late but i can't pick you up tonight, something came up and it will keep me busy till morning. Do you think Cam's mom would mind if you stayed the night?"

"Let me check with Cam." i whispered, "Hey Cam! Could we stay the night?"

"Sure." he whispered back.

"He said its fine."

"Ok thank you honey, i'll see you guys tomorrow morning."

"Ok mom bye."

"Wait, one question, why are you whispering?"

"Oh jack fell asleep and we dont want to wake him."

"Oh ok, bye"

I hung up and sighed, "Saydee can you please help me get Jack inside?" i asked.

she giggled, "No can do Boo, you have to do it yourself beacsue i have to get Cam up, he is half alseep already."

I whined quietly but started to slowly get up anyways. Eventually i had managed to get into a sitting position with jacks head in my lap. I stretched my back a little before waking him up. "Hey Jack, time to get up, come on." he didn't budge, i sighed and tried again, "Jack i can't carry you so you better get up." I tapped his head a couple of times. Slowly he rose up, "Sheesh woman, be patient." I rolled my eyes and helped him off the floor.

"Where are we going?" he asked.

"We are going to sleep at Cams house because my mom can only pick us up un the morning." i told him.

"Ugh ok, but where are we going to sleep" he asked.

"I don't know but i'll find out now." Slowly we walked inside where Cam's mom was waitng for us, "Hello Audrey, Hello Jack, sorry about this, we only have on spare room with a double bed, Saydee has just passed out with Cam after helping him down the hall. Is it ok for you two to share a room?"

"Um, yeah thats fine, thank you Mrs Carter." Jack said.

We made it to the room and collapsed on the bed. "Do we need pillows in the middle?" he asked. "Nah, its fine."

'"Ok, good night."

"Night."

*Jack POV*

(the morning)

I wake up first to see Audrey basically falling off her side of the bed. I quickly run to her side and gently put her up on it properly. She looked peaceful so i decided not to wake her up just yet.

I walked out our room and into Cams room, to find him and Saydee cuddled up and pillows that must have fallen on the floor. Quietly sprinted to Audrey and I's room and quietly sprinted back with my phone in hand to snap some pictures for payback later. Making sure my phone was on silent, as to not wake them up, I took the photos and put them on our friend group. After doing all that i went to Cam's cupboard to get my spare clothes and a towel to go shower.

When i got out the shower all except Cam's parents were still asleep so i took it upon myself to wake them all up. I decided that Cam and Saydee would get an annoying alarm and that Audrey would be woken up nicely so she wouldn't punish me and that she could also watch the show of Cam and Saydee. Immediately i got to work on Cam and Saydee's wake up call. I made sure that it would only go off when i knew for sure Audrey and I would be there to watch.

After setting it all up i went into the spare bedroom to wake Audrey up. I was only nice beacause she helped me get inside last night. I crawled up the middle of the bed and lay down behind her. "Hey beautiful, wake up." i whispered. "Hey Audrey, i have a surprise for you." I said a little louder. She turned around and snuggled into my chest . "What the hell do you want?" she grouched. "I would like you to get up so we can catch Cam and Saydee red handed."

"Oh thats nice; enjoy and let me sleep."

"Noooooooo, you have to come watch." i whined in her ear.

"I'm not getting up."

"What if i gave you a piggy back ride?"

She looked up at me, "That could work."

In the end i ended up giving her a piggy back ride to Cam's room. When she saw their position she cooed. "They are so cute! Now how are you waking the lying bastards up?" She asked. "Just wait and see." she hummed and rested her chin on my shoulder, waiting to see what would happen next.

"Any second now, ok?" I stated. Almost immediatly after the words left my mouth the first alarm went off. She gave me an 'are you serious' look. "Just wait." i whispered.

Slowly Cam's hand came out from the bed and switched off the alarm. He sat up a little bit before looking down at saydee's still sleeping figure, he smiled softly. Audrey silently gasped and whispered, "He likes her too." She got my phone out my pocket and stared to record what was happening. It was a sweet sight until the alarm went off again. Saydee shifted while Cam switched off the alarm again. "Morning." she said softly. "G'morning." he replied. Risking a glace at Audrey i saw that she had gone all soft and was holding back an 'Awwww'. Looking back at Cam and Saydee, they were getting closer and closer, then the alarm went off again. This time Cam looked semi-pissed. "Sorry, the stupid thing won't stop. Thought i switched it off last night." he mumbled.

"It's ok."

They started to get closer again when suddenly it went off again for the next to last time. Cam had, had enough and threw it across the room. Saydee laughed until the alarm went off again. Cam got out of the bed and picked up the alarm clock. He opened the battery pack and took out the batteries, my note fell out. He picked it up and read it, when he was done he looked at the doorway where we were hiding.

"Oops gotta run, bai!" Audrey said to the camera.

"JACK!" Cam screamed.

"Go, Go, Go Run for your life!" Audrey said. I laughed and ran down the hallway with Cam on our tails.

While Cam shouted profanities at us, Audrey and i cackled and ran. With Audrey still on my back i ran into the kitchen where Mr and Mrs Carter were sitting at the table waiting expectantly. I ran behind them, using them as a shield. "Now, now Cam, why are you shouting this early in the morning?" Mrs Carter asked calmly. Cam looked at her incredulously. Audrey couldnt hold it any longer and burst out laughing. Slowly from behind Cam came a very amused Saydee, "i wouldn't be laughing Audrey. You may have caught us but remember, i'll get you back." Audrey immediatly stoppped laughing and said, "Oh, i know, but you will never catch me unless i let you." By now Audrey had gotten off my back and was staring at Saydee eye to eye. They stared for a while before laughing and sitting at the table. Cam and i looked at them and then at each other a couple of times before deciding it was ok to sit down as well.

After breakfast Audrey left to shower, making me stay in the kitchen with Cam and Saydee. "Please tell me you are eventually going to ask her out." Saydee said.

"What ever do you mean?" I asked innocently.

She gave me a look, "The way you looked at her during breakfast is not how a friend looks at another friend." She deadpanned.

"Ok, ok geez, fine, you caught me but please dont tell anyone, ok? Because i want to do it in my own way and in my own time."

Saydee did a little happy dance in her chair and hit Cams chest a couple of times. "You see! I was right! You owe me 5 bucks." Cam just smiled and kissed her forehead, "Sure babe, i'll give it to you later, my wallet is in my room." I looked at them fondly. "And how long has this been a secret, hmmmm?" I asked.

"Umm, one month now?" Saydee said.

"A WHOLE MONTH!!" I said disbelieving. "Damn, Audrey is going to be so mad."

"Don't worry, i have dealt with worse things than a mad Audrey." Saydee said. I only chuckled.

Audrey walked in with her phone in hand, "Jack we have to go, my mom is here." I nodded and said goodbye to Saydee and Cam, Audrey doing the same.

When on the way back to Audrey's house she looked at me and asked, "When are we going to tell them?" I moved closer to her and held her hand, "Whenever you want." I kissed her forehead. "Hmmm, ok, maybe next week sometime?" She looked up at me again. I just nodded and leaned closer to her, "Whenever you want, whatever day or hour." I said before closing the gap and kissing her.
